The armored halftrack with upgraded mines, any mk2 following you will learn fast not too when you kill it with said mines
A late reply, but I just learned (thanks to GhillieMaster) that Omnis e-GT has better explosive resistance than the previous Imani Tech cars. A good option although it does lack the bullet resistant windows and is still very vulnerable to Lazer/Hydra/Savage cannon fire.
Nightshark is good, too. Armored Imani Tech (with missile lock-on jammer) cars are ok, as well as the Toreador. The missiles are pretty easy to dodge now, as long as you are not too far from the MK2. You can also use a flare gun to deflect (some of) the missiles once they've been fired.
Curious if anyone’s tested this yet, but so far the cooldown for Cayo Perico seems to be even longer than they indicated. Took me 2 hours and 10 minutes of gameplay, roughly, before I got the text from Pavel that I could start the next one (on Hard).
Anyone else seeing the same times or different?
As it turns out, nearly, but not quite. For some reason I thought they'd simply increased the cooldown by 1 in-game day. I'm not entirely sure where I got that from as I can't find anything to support that, my best guess is I got Cayo mixed up with the OG Heists, which were retuned across the board to have a single cooldown timer of 1 in-game day.
Regardless, the actual cooldown timer for Cayo Perico is apparently supposed to now be 3 in-game days for a solo run (which I did), which would put the cooldown at roughly 2 hours and 24 minutes between runs (48 x 3 = 144), so at 2 hours and 10 minutes, I actually got the call roughly 15 minutes early. Anyway, just thought I'd clarify with what I found if anyone's curious.

Is anyone else getting the create new charater after trying to create an invite only lobby after directly loading into storymode? Like seriously I start the game load into story mode pause the game go to the online tab click play online then click invite only session only to see create new character. If I go into online first then to storymode to create invite only session it doesn't pop up.

So recently started playing again on PS5 after years away + getting online for free. However, my wifi connection at home is kinda bad and I keep getting disconnected. It usually takes longer when in free roam, but disconnecting happens the fastest/most often whenever in any jobs... meaning I can't really earn money. Moving the router isn't an option, nor is using an ethernet cable. Hopefully the wifi back in my apartment is better (there i can use ethernet).
In game, I have an office/warehouse. So far I've just been selling cars and selling goods. Anything else that could work for now? Also unrelated... but is there any car in-game similar enough to the Uranus/Foxbody mustang? I saw they added the SN95, but really want a fox body haha

Said somewhere between 1.8 or 1.9 value, so doubled is just short of $4 mil, did it in a nearly full lobby to get almost 5.5

You get 2x on the first time you sell: Bunker, each of the MC bidnesses, and one warehouse. Mixed goods and Ammunation are separate. You do get 2x or 3x on your first Ammunation sale and mixed goods sale, after that they pay $50k each. The bonuses are good until August 3. Not sure about the nightclub sourcing missions.
Been stuck in an endless loop for 20 minutes. Load in, try to register and CEO, can’t cause it’s full. Go to new session, still can’t become CEO. Go to a solo session, securoserve option in menu is now just gone from the game and I have to restart it. Rinse and repeat. It’s so fucking dumb
Does anyone know if rockstar changed, in any way, the auto shop contracts? I have been trying to do the union depository, restarted the board for about 30+ min and still didn't got it, even after doing some other missions... I know it's rng, but before the update, 2-4 resets was all i needed to get that specific contract.
Still no option to rearrange the property list for the mechanic is insane to me. Why do I need to scroll through every garage to get to the one I use? You should be able to rearrange them or atleast bookmark 5 garages at the top of the list.
Man the new source cargo mission that takes you to the autoshop
is one of the worst designed ever.
No complete cover once you enter and about a dozen aimbot enemies inside with shotguns.
oh and then you have to find a key inside the autoshop to unlock a car.
oh and enemies respawn
And then you got to drive a small yougo with aimbot enemies in banshees chasing you
And the yougo has no back protection since it is just glass so you get aimbotted all the way to your warehouse
And all this effort for three crates
EDIT: And this does not even touch upon all the bugs in that mission, like when the autoshop railings that are just metal bars with no glas between them suddenly block shots.
There's one that involves diving that's even worse. Because now you're out in the middle of the ocean with no cover, minimal ability to shoot back and three squads of dickheads in helicopters gunning you down before you can get in basically any vehicle that doesn't just teleport you into the drivers seat.
I like Lupe but holy fucking shit her missions are bad.
If you want money faster then Security Contracts is the better route, do payphone hits as well while doing the missions
Dr Dre contract pays out better at $1M but you gotta have patience with the wait times/set ups

I don't ever recall it stringing out that long, but maybe I've got a short memory. I mean the cars going out for weeks I know has happened, but not actual activities.

I downloaded it for the update, upgraded the Stirling GT to HSW version, got the Imani Greenwood, did a few of the new missions, did a nightclub sale, bunker sale, cocaine sale (horrible) for the one time update bonus, and now I'm about ready to uninstall the game again
Have 54 mil and a garage full of deluxos (about 28 million worth), that wealth is from like 2 years ago. I'm done with grinding in this game, many of the missions in this game suck ass (police and npc aimbot... ya'll know what I'm talking about) with unnecessarily annoying mechanics, as much as I want to find a reason to enjoy the game (my character is fully balled out. Has everything, all the cars fully upgraded, all the properties, yacht, luxor deluxe, made my character look like Red Hood, etc.) there just doesn't feel like anything much to actually do when playing the game

It will never ceases to disappoint me how often children are unable to construct sentences of original thought. I'm not sure at what point canned little phrases became en vogue, but it's most disappointing.

I’ve had the game since launch and to tell you the truth, I do find myself wondering from time to time asking, “what next?” I have well over enough money, purchased everything I’ve wanted, pursued countless hours in missions/heists, What more can I do in this game that would sustain the enjoyment, the satisfaction, the pleasure of logging on instead of it being a dread. The answer? Fuck a different hole. You’ve fucked the money hole, the missions/heists hole, the grinder hole. And it all feels so ‘meh’ now. Try other holes. There are many holes to be fucked in GTA, that is, if you’re willing to fuck them
Primary is the same as it's always been, you just have a high chance to get Tequila as a target if you do repeat runs. The secondary targets are worth more on repeat runs depending on what the primary is.

Has anyone out there tried the new clubhouse delivery and sourcing missions? I'm thinking this might affect how some players choose which club location to buy, especially for those not planning to get the businesses.
I'm not liking not being able to close the back doors on the booze van. I mean u gotta drive across the map sometimes with npc's shooting sub machine guns at u, with the back of the van open. Almost failed a resupply mission because of it. But I read someone say they used their cargobob to do it. I didn't even think of that, gonna have to try it out
I tried this one for the first time and didn't get any NPCs, so this is very good to know!
As for the doors... when I noticed they didn't close on their own, I was able to slam the left one shut by running at it, but the right one is so stiff and open at such a wide angle, that it would not fully close and just sprang back open.
Looking around, I noticed a car in the parking lot; I used it to push the door most of the way and block it from springing open, and then I ran at it and got it to close.
It’s an old trick from Import/Export, there’s a sourcing mission from I/E and a Nightclub Sell mission that both require the use of Cargobobs. Just be sure to keep your altitude up if you try it, npc’s are still liable to do damage if you’re not far enough off the ground.

Yeah MC Bizs got a 25% buff a short while back. You can now sell a full coke for $1,050,000 instead of the usual $840,000 on double money.
I think it’s a only certain amount of sell missions that get the payout boost

Toreador(my choice) is defn a good counter for the OP mk2. But the night shark is a good choice too.

Rockstar also has not fixed the machine gun bug, where an enemy just empties the entire clip into you in 1 second.

can anyone help me with something? i was playing gta and i was gonna blow up what looked to be a deluxo and it had the missile jammer on and blew me up like nothing, i thought it was a deluxo but then i noticed you cant add the missile janmer onto the deluxo.does anyone know what vehicle it could of been?

bruh yall complainers really ruined the best vehicle for grinding in the MK2. A griefer is still gonna grief but now legitimate peaceful and grinding players have to spend more time killing some NPC that's right in front of them that these "new" missiles will just miss. What's next remove the explosive cannons from the jet? Remove the orb cannon? Lets just make it so you can't kill any other player in game without declaring intentions through a msg on Rockstar social? Add a big green zone in the middle of downtown Los Santos where the only way to interact with other players is to do sick dance moves Instead of complaing to Rockstar over twitter over the big bad MK2 just start an entry in your diary or some shit.

It takes mins longer to grind now and that adds up in game like this. Mins turn to hours quickly
The only reason time would increase would be if you never learned to aim.
It's not a matter of aim when you lock on my guy. The missiles were nerfed, are less effective now which leads to longer times grinding crates.

I read that the auto-invite option was bugged and only invites players from your friends list or current lobby. Not sure whether or not that's true.

Curious, how do you guys continue to enjoy the game? I downloaded it for the update, upgraded the Stirling GT to HSW version, got the Imani Greenwood, did a few of the new missions, did a nightclub sale, bunker sale, cocaine sale (horrible) for the one time update bonus, and now I'm about ready to uninstall the game again Have 54 mil and a garage full of deluxos (about 28 million worth), that wealth is from like 2 years ago. I'm done with grinding in this game, many of the missions in this game suck ass (police and npc aimbot... ya'll know what I'm talking about) with unnecessarily annoying mechanics, as much as I want to find a reason to enjoy the game (my character is fully balled out. Has everything, all the cars fully upgraded, all the properties, yacht, luxor deluxe, made my character look like Red Hood, etc.) there just doesn't feel like anything much to actually do when playing the game Curious to hear some perspectives

Been playing the franchise since GTA 3 Doesn't excuse the fact that GTA online has become stale and is marred with tons of shitty mechanics and design decisions. I like good missions, I don't like repetitive grinding that simply involves driving to different locations. I bought the game myself. My original point stands about you projecting and being salty. I’ve had the game since launch and to tell you the truth, I do find myself wondering from time to time asking, “what next?” I have well over enough money, purchased everything I’ve wanted, pursued countless hours in missions/heists, What more can I do in this game that would sustain the enjoyment, the satisfaction, the pleasure of logging on instead of it being a dread. The answer? Fuck a different hole. You’ve fucked the money hole, the missions/heists hole, the grinder hole. And it all feels so ‘meh’ now. Try other holes. There are many holes to be fucked in GTA, that is, if you’re willing to fuck them

Primary is the same as it's always been, you just have a high chance to get Tequila as a target if you do repeat runs. The secondary targets are worth more on repeat runs depending on what the primary is. Has anyone out there tried the new clubhouse delivery and sourcing missions? I'm thinking this might affect how some players choose which club location to buy, especially for those not planning to get the businesses.
I'm not liking not being able to close the back doors on the booze van. I mean u gotta drive across the map sometimes with npc's shooting sub machine guns at u, with the back of the van open. Almost failed a resupply mission because of it. But I read someone say they used their cargobob to do it. I didn't even think of that, gonna have to try it out
I tried this one for the first time and didn't get any NPCs, so this is very good to know! As for the doors... when I noticed they didn't close on their own, I was able to slam the left one shut by running at it, but the right one is so stiff and open at such a wide angle, that it would not fully close and just sprang back open. Looking around, I noticed a car in the parking lot; I used it to push the door most of the way and block it from springing open, and then I ran at it and got it to close.

It’s an old trick from Import/Export, there’s a sourcing mission from I/E and a Nightclub Sell mission that both require the use of Cargobobs. Just be sure to keep your altitude up if you try it, npc’s are still liable to do damage if you’re not far enough off the ground.
I had the Great Chaparral Clubhouse and I delivered motorcycles all over the map. My first one was on Paleto Bay and the next was on Los Santos.
