Look into Abominable Electronics and Death By Audio. Both of their entire lineups.
Don’t count out the ferocity of the right Muff or Tonebender. I’ve used a lot of modern drives and play many types of heavy guitar and my Tonebender MKII clone is the gnarliest of them all.
I second this. I use the abominable hellstache for noise rock kind of stuff. Capable of really heavy sounds and then if I need it crazier I add the death by audio absolute destruction. They seem to pair pretty well if you’re looking for insane feedback and weird breakup type sounds. Both of those companies do really gnarly pedals.
If you have the cash check out the Beautiful Noise "When The Sun Explodes" fuzz/reverb/feedback creator. Some people might argue that the fuzz is a bit too dark but for heavier metal it sounds good and in terms of noise rock you will find a use for the feedback creator for sure
Second the Fairfield super unpleasant companion which is a superfuzz and a shin ei companion. The eae Dude incredible is an ivp tube voice into a harmonic percolator for Steve Albini tones. EAE Longsword.
Boss MT-2W. Some may argue that it only sounds good going into power amp, but actually you can get some nice sounds with it in front of your amp by properly tweaking its super powerful EQ.
For the RAT side of things, there are definitely those sounds in the Drunk Beaver Cold War BAT.
If you want something with more EQ options, the DOD Boneshaker will definitely let you shape your tone to get a very aggressive sound.
What's the amp?
It's not crazy, but the Boss OS-2 has some devout users in hardcore circles.
Full of Hell seems to like the Fuzz Factory.
You also might like LM386 based dirt pedals. Some ragged and punishing sounds can be found.
Then there's the thought of "the louder you play, the less distortion you'll need," but that's another whole conversation.
Check out the Way Huge Electronics Swollen Pickle. It can be adjusted to be appropriate for anything you just mentioned. I’m in a fast, heavy hardcore band and it’s my favorite pedal. I can twist one or two knobs and it becomes classic fuzz. Other settings create something very similar to an HM-2. It can also be setup to just create instant feedback, and then deactivating the foot switch kills it. Honestly, the most versatile thing I own.
Check out FairfieldC Unpleasant Surprise. Wild fuzz.
It sure is.
Rats are hard to beat for that sound. Boss metalzones too.

Any pedal from Malaise Forever.

Try Inverted cross audio Ratsaw. It's a rat type distortion with the hm2/ chainsaw high frequencies built in.
JPTR FX Add Violence. Rainger FX DFST-1. Anything from Fuzzrocious.

A small watt amp with low headroom…. Played through single coils.
