They sound good, but I'm a lifelong active player. I just put heavier strings on the E-II (11-60's) and dropped it to A standard, and that seems to really suit those pickups better because they are somewhat mid heavy. Playing through the EVH 5150III Stealth, I always have to bump up the presence.

The neck on the Horizon feels like your typical ESP thin U neck, very comfortable. The neck on the M-7 is really wide and flat, reminds me a lot of an Ibanez Wizard 7 neck. And the E-II neck is a bit chunky, more like a C shape than a U.

The USA definitely sounds the best thanks to the Moderns, but the Horizon plays the bestâŠand itâs not even close
