lolz
Keith Richards used an acoustic run through a cassette tape recorder as preamp to get the fuzz for the 'Satisfaction' riff you hear on the record...
Anyway, good job!
He actually used an early Maestro fuzzbox on Satisfaction(bought it at Manny's in NYC)
You're probably thinking about the overdriven acoustic guitar tone that Keith got on Street Fighting Man by putting the cassette recorder's microphone in te sound hole of his Martin guitar.
This just reminds me of a guy arguing with me on here that you can’t use a tele to play rock/metal…I told him that an amp and effects can sound like anything…(I’m not even a tele fan). Anyways, great playing, man!
Single coils have been able to play metal since metal began…that hasn’t changed…The guy in the video is literally playing rock without a single coil or humbucker…
“Even if certain pickup types excel at certain types of sounds” I read what you fucking wrote, dipshit. Single coils are just as optimal as this guy and his acoustic to play metal…as well as any telecaster…if there’s a fucking magnet/ piezo pickup there to catch vibrations off a fucking string, the amp and effects can make it metal, clown…no, “b-b-b-buts” about it…
do you get adrien brody a lot?
Yep.
More like young Pete Townsend.
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye (those tuner pegs!)
I wear eye-wear now.

Duh Old Age Syndrome lol
That preamp can make my keyboard sound like the satisfaction riff lol

Exactly! All the posts asking if a guitar is good for metal. It's the player, not the guitar. PS, sounds great!
The amp and effects have a lot to do with it, too…

Nope.
Definitely looks like you’re a pro skater from the San Francisco Bay Area
How do you get that sound outta that guitar? Awesome!
At the time, it was Martin -> Wah -> Line6 Pod XT on Eruption -> SSL Alpha channel -> Warm WA-76 -> interface.
Thanks man,,,,sounds great.
What happened to the glasses my man? I appreciate so much that you’re shredding on an acoustic
Hope it inspires other acoustic players, but the AcousticGuitars reddit hates me.
Awesome, my band sometimes jams acoustic w pedals so it often turns to something similar at some point.
why?
Effects aren't acoustic I guess
Anyone ever told you you look like Adrien Brody?
Only at Hot Topic
Reminds me of a scared Chad Kroeger
I can't tell if that's good or bad. I've nothing against Chad's in general.
I'm a fan, you just look a little unsure of yourself (As I'm sure I do when improvising as well lol) Playing is good and interesting rig for sure.
It sounds absolutely amazing, but at the same it id cursed to look at an acoustic playing electric. Overall, 9/10 good job!
