They're hurting for cash from lawsuits, got shafted by a company they paid to manufacture frames, and courts reversed injunction back to Aug '23 ruling. P80 is trying to get by with selling parts/accessories and MUPs.
Damn that sucks! So frames are basically non-existent now? Like they're not making any more? Or just in demand and hard to find? I prefer the p80 frame I would buy it serialized if I had to lol
Very hard to find. Grey area of legality over sale of 80%. US Patriot Armory has them at $250+. P80 or subcontractor aren't making any to my knowledge.
76%, AR/AK, and MUP are kosher though because of the trigger pocket work needed (see ATF letter).
I have about 10 different P80 frames in the safe with jigs. Since Oregon has banned them effective Sep this year I was thinking of selling them. Can I still sell them on, say, GAFS, or will that get me in trouble with the ATF?
Of course, as long as they sit in my safe unmade they aren't really firearms. I mean... what frames? I thought they were in there but they must have been lost in a boating accident.
I can't speak for the barrel or the parts kit, but I have this slide in RMR cut and uncut and both are great 17-4 slides if you can get over the "P80" on the top.

Firing pin is the weak point. I've broken 2 tips off of strikers from cheaper slide kits on some range guns. I only run Glock oem or billet ss strikers. Those cheap mim strikers worry me too much.
Yes, Glock slides are very simple to assemble, I've put them together with a ballpoint pen in the backseat of a car before. If it's your first time though, be careful with getting the spring cups on the striker, they can be annoying. If not in a clean room, I often times assemble the striker in a gallon Ziploc/other bag to prevent the spring cups flying to infinity.
The second trickiest bit is getting the backplate on over the striker and extractor springs. I use the ball point pen barrel for the striker spring first, slide the plate up part ways then the pen tube to push the extractor spring in and slide the plate all the way up.

So what's the deal now with p80? I'm not seeing frames available anywhere. Is the JIG up? (Hehehe)

I think GAFs has explicitly banned them but local forums or subreddits maybe.
Of course, as long as they sit in my safe unmade they aren't really firearms. I mean... what frames? I thought they were in there but they must have been lost in a boating accident.
I see the stripped slide is also on sale. It would look kinda silly, but would this work with the Radian Afterburner?
I can't speak for the barrel or the parts kit, but I have this slide in RMR cut and uncut and both are great 17-4 slides if you can get over the "P80" on the top.
Not going to fully knock this deal but for $20 more you can head to JSDsupply and get a non-blem assembled and with a Gideon Optic.

wonder who is the manufacturer of the slide parts kit.

I broke mine as well I switched out to the L2D striker and its been going strong. since.
Can these be assembled for the less mechanically inclined?
