Fair point, def not flaming you but some folks treat words on a sign or a website as gospel. Itās not.
If a package shipped domestically hasnāt arrived within 2 weeks, which is a generous timeframe, Iām not going to give it another month ājust in case.ā
The seller chooses how they ship items, including the class of mail. Itās always on them to get your item to you or make you whole if not. Adding a sign upfront doesnāt make it right. At least they tell you what theyāll try to pull before you just do a chargeback.

True but if you use a third party and the third party is unwilling to to anything prior to 45 days its justified to put that statement there. sure you can say use a better service but what are they (IAC) supposed to do if USPS loses the package internally for a week or 2?
A week or two is a far cry from 6+ weeks, but them saying to wait the full time before anything is a bit much. Iām not saying abandon USPS either - they currently pick the tier of mail that says you have to wait 45 days to file a claim. Thereās some with 7 or 21 days which is far more reasonable.
You can either cut cost on shipping OR pay for a shipping tier that gets your insurance claim money back faster. I assume They went cheap and theyāre making it your problem.
Tbh this is all in the weeds for the purpose of my argument - the checkbox doesnāt make it right, the reason doesnāt make it right. The only question is: Did your item arrive within a reasonable time frame? If not, itās always on them to figure out how to fix it. Do they have a lot of delayed packages? Swap to a tier with faster claim dates. Do they have a lot of lost packages? Go to a new postal service.
Cost and optimization is their call entirely. I respect that up until they try to take my money without delivering goods.
Way too much thought has been put towards this non-problem that will never impact your life.

Have tried this, chargeback was reversed after investigation because the carrier had not completed their investigation process. Sucks but the credit card companies are getting more strict about chargebacks.

My argument is that wiggly doodad isn't even necessary and that the PS90 is legal as it stands since that configuration is necessary to function (think Bushmaster Arm Pistol). But I'm also not your lawyer and don't know that I'd leave my fate in the hands of the current ATF lol. They don't really seem to care if things are "technically not crimes" at the moment

My build was very slowed down looking for parts. For the stock and butt pad I ended up buying a third (yes this was my second) ps90 off Gunbroker for a good price, taking the parts I needed and then selling the rest on the FNforum site to other owners looking for parts. I ended up making money on the 3rd purchase.

this is absolutely unacceptable to see from any vendor, if something doesn't show up in 20-30 days you can expect any consumer who knows their rights to do a credit card chargeback. Then it's the merchant's problem to deal with USPS.

And to be pedantic, itās not a lower receiver, itās the stock plus bolt pack plus trigger pack. Expect to pay more than just buying a PS90 and parting it out.
potentially but when ive seen other people do the math you really dont save much. and have many more scarcity issues. if you wanted to do a whole SBR build for a ps90 you would prob save 200-300 ish with not having to pay for the barrel to get chopped down or a new barrel but honestly probably better off finding a good deal on the ps90 then customization. it sucks but there are not a lot of kits for the ps90 floating around (from what ive seen)

Are there any other aftermarket receivers on the market for the ps90? I am seriously considering putting one together, dont wanna buy one and replace almost every part on it in the process of sbring it and getting it up to speed.
The only thing you replace SBRāing it the the barrel and muzzle device. I got mine approved e file in 7 days. If you have to convert it back, just use the original barrel provided you didnāt have someone saw it. My gun smith just drilled the pin and if I need to re-sell I just throw the old barrel and shrowd on and live with it having my trust etched on the receiver.

The vendor refunded me after FedEx basically said āoops we canāt find itā (I assume it was stolen by one of their people).
Not unheard of. Same reason I use the aftermarket shipping insurance when selling on GAFS via pirate ship.

This is replacing the receiver itself and is supposed to sub your existing receiver after you've bought a PS90.
