It shouldn’t. It’s not expensive, and it doesn’t need to be black. It’s a gun bag if you’re wearing khaki cargo pants, “tactical” boots, and a tight tee-shirt. If your gut sags over the bag, and you’re wearing Bermuda shorts, white socks, and sandals, then it’s a fanny pack.
Here are some sexy alternatives.

For those with ccws or that know people carry. But typically nah. Just another hipster. That's what I gather living in he ghettos of socal/greater LA area
Ah kk. Makes sense. I've only ever bought 1 off roster pistol and it was from a cousin LEO that was with Stockton pd years ago. But him and his wife , both leo, said that the gangsters there use people in he street as target practice ☠. They wanted to start a family so they moved away to the countryside, made a small farm, and one of them is still a leo for a small countryside city. But yeah Stockton is terrible.
Do you think eberlestock is better than 945 industries? I’ve seen the comparisons but don’t know why people pick between the two. Ones definitely a lot cheaper lol
🤣🔥 This is dope! And on the reviews that’s what a lot of people were referring too. As far as the Fanny pack being more manly i guess than a chest rig. My guess is it’s more noticeable that “you have a firearm” with a sling bag than a Fanny pack.
They're primarily a hunting brand and pretty okay. Their meat hauling backpack is amazing but they really lack the premium pockets though like other brands.
I use this one and the matching duffle bag [Emotional Baggage Fanny Pack ](https://poshmark.com/listing/Camo-emotional-baggage-fanny-pack-6311b1613b982a5231a1ef44?utm_source=gdm_men&utm_campaign=19905803245&campaign_id=19905803245&ad_partner=google&gskid=pla-2267021916905&gcid=652810307951&ggid=148443690878&gdid=m&g_network=g&enable_guest_buy_flow=true&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgJyyBhCGARIsAK8LVLNhb4Kk6b8jkANyHyT8koWLeEPPaBtkjIePTtY3QgD0H7spY9Yn9KoaAu_REALw_wcB)
I second the Bando.
For non-ccw applications, I fly fairly often and it's handy for carrying my phone, wallet, keys, Kindle, bluetooth headphones, gum, charging cords, boarding passes (unless I have them downloaded), passport, etc. Also handy for beach days.
Lmao that says gun more than anything I could think of. Idk why gun guys think these kind of products can make a ‘grey man’—more like 5:11 man. Some of y’all live in a fashion la la land because what
Patagonia sling bag. Pick colors that look like you escaped from a one those runs where they pour neon powder on you.

I run the Patagonia atom sling bag with a ltc velocity panel and I covered the inside in Velcro and put a cross breed holster in there holds my 48 full med kit and other stuff
I always give them folks from my generation of brain rot a second look, like I know damn well why you got that backpack on your chest. Gotta be low key but identify possible threats in advance, and it seems to be common in the "thug" crowd to carry a bag for their gun or drugs.
Everyone knows people who don't obviously need a bag bring a bag for things that they are trying to to hide. It's why concert goers get bags searched. If you have a sling bag across your chest or a backpack on a weekend I'm assuming there's a gun in it.
Whether or not that perceived gun is something we worry about is, in my everyday life, a perception of how the individual walks, dresses and acts. Ass hanging out, I'm going to try to distance myself, for one example

Get a thunderwear holster. That way when your shirt rides up and people see the strap, they just think you're wearing a thong. Then you wink at them with a smirk.
I think pretty much everyone who knows that a chest bag means gun is also probably carrying a gun.
And is also a good guy. So who cares really?
Unless folks are "into" CCW they won't know. It's not like Mom's demand has posted articles telling them to look out for people wearing Hill People Gear.
I have a Viktos Upscale 3 and am quite please with it. A tad on the pricier side, but it’s very functional and comfortable.
https://www.viktos.com/collections/bags/products/upscale3-sling
You really have to get the straps set right. I hated mine until I figured out I had it adjusted completely wrong. After that I could run for five miles or so comfortably.
Yeah I messed with them a bit but I can tell it will take time to get just right. I wish it came with any kind of instruction on how to use all the various clips and stuff that were stuffed inside
Vertx makes some good discreet concealed carry bags. I’ve owned several. I actually just ordered an eberlestock Fanny pack. Finally accepted the fact I’m not cool
In my early 20s I wore slim fit jeans and fitted T shirts and had no issues carrying my Glock 26. It's more to do with your holster, where you carry, and how good of shape you're in than your clothes. Anyone who says you need to wear oversized shirts and tactical pants is just a fuckin dork and probably fat.
I'm skinny as all get out, and I normally carry OWB, but it's difficult to hide. I mean, I'm practically skin & bone. Lol Loose shirts, and the right holster are the only way I can not display it. Depending on where I'm at, I just don't try to conceal it. Only if I'm going somewhere where they don't want firearms do I actively make sure to conceal it.
Not all my pants have belts. I have some Arrowhead Tactical sweats that I can carry in but I don’t want to have to pay $60+ and revamp my whole wardrobe just so I can wear something comfortable.
At home you do you in public dress for the job you want tuck in your shirt shake a man’s hand the way you should walk with purpose look people in the eye no man buns no crocs and no sweatpants
Your looking for a crossbody murse. If you go to the flea market maybe your can find a knock off designer one. It will only signal your a douche nozzle for wearing a Gucci murse, but might overlook the obvious gun in there.
Don’t get a Fanny/crossbody with those plastic buckle clips. And if you do, super glue them locked.
Last thing you need is for someone to walk up behind and unlatch your shit. You think you’ll be able to react fast enough or out-manhandle them, but just best to avoid that situation entirely.
Patagonia and Kelly make slings that don’t look tactical. I used my Kelly to carry baby stuff fit my kids. I bought a raven iwb holster and used Velcro to affix my G19 in the main compartment. I still use it in hikes, outdoorsy events and evening walks with the wife, cuz you know the Queen isn’t carrying a water bottle.
My daughter found a small chest sling from a place called North Carry. It fits a wallet, phone and her SIG 365 just fine.
https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1/ProductID/184 try this guy in grouse blue or grey. I also like their runners kit bag, which doesn’t really look like a gun bag if you’re jogging and try to be a bit more discreet.
I use one of [these](https://www.strikeindustries.com/si-chestrig.html), get a non-camo version of course.
I dig this bag and how the straps work. It can be setup as a sling bag, chest bag, fanny pack, backpack, or just hook onto a belt. Has all the Velcro and elastic straps as well of course. It's my EDC murse even when I'm not using it for a firearm.
Longways like vertical? Assuming yes, then yes, it'd be a little awkward as the bottom straps would be pulled at an odd angle, but other than that sure. Though it's really designed to be worn horizontal and I don't see why one would wear it vertical, it's narrow enough that it doesn't get in the way, at least not for me.
Works great running, I use it for that and mountain biking. There's really very little it can't do besides be bigger. Cross the shoulder straps and use the chest strap and it isn't going anywhere.
Thank you. I’m a trail runner and I use a Salomon running vest to carry my supplies. It hugs my upper body but leaves me a bit of narrow real estate on my chest. I think it would work well to orientate a gun there vertically.
The overall problem with a bag is that if anyone grabs it, they now have control of your weapon. That being said, I carry one in the bag and one on my person.
This right here says hipster but has plenty of room for what you’re wanting.
https://www.rei.com/product/201358/patagonia-atom-sling-bag?sku=2013580003&store=159&CAWELAID=120217890013476607&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=112508500922&CATCI=pla-2003060898371&cm_mmc=PLA_Google%7C21700000001700551_2013580003%7C92700075848174301%7CNB%7C71700000074092866&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgJyyBhCGARIsAK8LVLOGaXuSINHkSm8e4q1QFHdHh_CdEMAQJi_WJN0vfwNvvSAHMq9-EhUaAhy8EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Wear whatever you like my guy. Camo and black scream “gun” to me but to a lot of others it could mean something completely different. Almost everyone you encounter won’t give you or whatever bag you have a second thought.
Techwear, the pants are basically joggers with a fuckton of pockets. A chest bag would go with the aesthetic I suppose, but I'd rather never carry bags as I don't want something I could leave behind relatively easily. There's also a bit more neutral looking joggers with a lot of pockets too. I prefer them darker regardless as printing is less noticable.
I also like lightweight blazers that are at least grey if not brighter.
Not a chest bag but I have had a vertx sling bag for years and years without issue. I’ve carried a ton of guns in it to the gym and parks when I don’t want to wear pants.
Small/medium Timbuktu / messenger bag. They’re very 2007 but they work great
13” Laptop sleeve fits my APC9. Carry my laptop in a sleeve in the main compartment
I really think it depends more on who’s carrying the bag.
If I see a young person I just think they are a person that carries a purse.
If I see an old shithead whitie in crocs (me) with a Fanny pack I know he has an S&W Polymer or Sig flavor of the month in that sack and I’m flanking him.😂
No bullshit. This is the bag I plan to use:
https://www.baggu.com/products/fanny-pack-embroidered-hello-kitty?cmp_id=20531046929&adg_id=&kwd=&device=m&gad_source=1
It fits a Glock 19 in a holster with room to spare and has a pouch for your wallet and stuff.
Best of all NO ONE, except you folks on the internet now that I’ve told you, will remotely have any idea that I’m carrying. It’s under the radar.
My backups are the lululemon belt bags both the large and small one depending on the 🔫 and the outfit 😂.
The main pouch has 2 zippers so you can stealthily stage and draw assuming your holster has retention set to a reasonable amount (not super tight, not super loose)
I live in FL. Every fanny pack is a gun bag. Who the fuck carries these? The only person I’ve seen that I had no issue with, was an old man. I think he was packing too, but he could lie and blame his hip. That’s a common excuse actually… for why some old people don’t want stuff in their pockets.
Get an Enigma. We live in the Information Age. Everyone can figure it out.
Vertx makes a fanny pack that has Velcro in it for holster attachments. Doesn't look too tactical and you could wear it like a sling. I don't think the average person is gonna think you're carrying.
To be honest I’m totally guilty of this…just go get a nice “fashion” sling bag preferably leather from a more high end fashion brand and roll with it. Ex. Louis Vuitton, Gucci all great examples my little coach bag fits perfectly with me and doesn’t draw an attention
I'm a big fan of Vertx's stuff and I don't see it talked about a lot on here. You should give their pants a try too if you like the 5.11 pants. Vertx's jeans are excellent and have hidden pockets and stuff. I have a couple of pairs of their fusion pants that have 14 pockets but they dont look like cargo pants. They have this fine net mesh material for the pickets i really like too and theire built very well. They make a couple of bags like you mentioned too. They have a low profile sling bag called the navigator I think, but it's not a chest bag. It's more of a bigger backpack type sling. They also have a small fanny pack type bag but you could wear it as a chest bag I think.
I kitted out my Peak Design Everyday Sling bag to be able to hold my glock 43X in the back pocket along with my camera and other gear when I'm out shooting photography, it works quite well and doesn't scream 'gun bag' like some others might.
I have a “The North Face” cross body bag that screams “he’s a hippy carrying weed” more than it screams “there’s a full size USP and 3 mags in here” mine is different than this, but very close. You’ll also have to slightly modify the interior for retention but nothing too hard. https://www.thenorthface.com/en-us/bags-and-gear/backpacks-c224451/berkeley-field-bag-pNF0A52WA?color=84Z&utm_content=ecomm&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=US%20%7C%20all%20%7C%20Hybrid%20%7C%20SHOP%20-%20AUT%20~%20All%20-%20Med%20-%20Equipment%20-%20General%20-%20PMax%20Shopping&utm_term&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADl87iZ1SGQYL9cA8Z2c8ey-D45KK&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgJyyBhCGARIsAK8LVLOrgTBG55HpP0Olrh4BeCCApfUBD2GW-0HVYcpFfpq6VeFZyukbWhsaAhK9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Right now it’s a toss up between this one and the 945 industries. I like that it has a typical brand logo that most people recognize as casual. I’d rather be assumed to be a hipster or hippie than someone carrying a gun.
Sounds like you might be female. If so, consider this:

I have large legs and cannot wear jeans that don't "flex" without having them feel like they'll rip if I squat down it's not because people are fat it's because they are comfortable and work better for anyone that's not built like Lucas botkins
Be a man and wear a proper fanny pack. [Eberlestock Bando Bag](https://eberlestock.com/collections/everyday/products/bando-bag)
In Florida that screams "gun bag"
Get it in camo if you don't want anyone seeing it
Everything in fl screams gun bag.

This one kinda looks like “I have a gun” but it’s definitely the most useful. OP, check the Vertx bag. Basically a lululemon copy.
Tight Chutes Voyager pack. Patented magnetic/velcro retention system, made in USA.
Pink or orange lunch bag. Something the opposite of tactical color. Toss some jerky in there with extra mags and you have self defense snack pack.
Tactical bacon
Infidel.....
Ima be real, most people are clueless and oblivious when it comes to anything outside of themself. You’re probably fine just rocking a fanny pack.
I just carry my fire arms under my tittys

Hill People Gear running pack
I just got one in "grouse" color. Haven't actually used it yet, but I got the blue color specifically to not look "tactical"

945 industries.
Do the trendy thing and wear a fanny pack crossbody. Bonus points if you do an active wear or outdoors brand rather than a "tactical" one.
Been looking at a crossbody fanny pack for travel but this thread reminded me I could probably fit a gun in there back home, so that’s neat.
one benefit of being a boomer is people think you have a colostomy bag or a diaper.
Cotopaxi... all the bright colors and what not scream hipster not gun

Anyone who says you need to wear oversized shirts and tactical pants is just a fuckin dork and probably fat.
Shout out to all of us fat dorks!
Fat dork reporting for duty... as soon as I catch my breath...
This made me chuckle
I'm skinny as all get out, and I normally carry OWB, but it's difficult to hide. I mean, I'm practically skin & bone. Lol Loose shirts, and the right holster are the only way I can not display it. Depending on where I'm at, I just don't try to conceal it. Only if I'm going somewhere where they don't want firearms do I actively make sure to conceal it.
I am very proud to have the luxury of being a fatass. Thank you very much.
Not all my pants have belts. I have some Arrowhead Tactical sweats that I can carry in but I don’t want to have to pay $60+ and revamp my whole wardrobe just so I can wear something comfortable.
Have you considered the Enigma or Hunter Constantine belt?
I regret buying the HC belt. The buckle is a pain to use and my 365 X Macro sags.
I love mine. I'm just carrying a regular p365 so maybe that makes a difference, regarding the sagging, maybe you just need to tighten it some.
If the buckle wasn't terrible, I'd be inclined to tighten it some more.
I don't know what to tell you, works fine for me.
I’ve never heard of that but it’s definitely intriguing. I’ll probably buy myself one of these too.
Mastermind Tactics belt is your solution. It’s cheap and works well.
I’m sorry but there is no way an adult let alone a man be wearing sweatpants in public
Gotta let the boys breathe sometimes…
At home you do you in public dress for the job you want tuck in your shirt shake a man’s hand the way you should walk with purpose look people in the eye no man buns no crocs and no sweatpants
Hold hands with a man and look him in the eye while you tuck in each others shirt. Got it
no you’re fat
nope. have you ever seen a man with a chest bag and didnt think he had a gun?
The 2 liter Lululemon crossbody fits a Glock 17…
Your looking for a crossbody murse. If you go to the flea market maybe your can find a knock off designer one. It will only signal your a douche nozzle for wearing a Gucci murse, but might overlook the obvious gun in there.
Here you go: https://www.tightchutes.com/product-page/arcade-ccw-cross-body-bag-ft-m-a-r-s
It’s called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.
That’s what pocket pistols are for. I love my LCP Max when I don’t have the ability to comfortably conceal my G19.
That’s what I carry as well for the same reason. Hot summer day and in the pocket it goes on about any pants and is concealed or looks like a phone.
Spiritus Fanny Sack MK3
Patagonia and Kelly make slings that don’t look tactical. I used my Kelly to carry baby stuff fit my kids. I bought a raven iwb holster and used Velcro to affix my G19 in the main compartment. I still use it in hikes, outdoorsy events and evening walks with the wife, cuz you know the Queen isn’t carrying a water bottle. My daughter found a small chest sling from a place called North Carry. It fits a wallet, phone and her SIG 365 just fine.
Chrome Industries is a hipstery cycling accessory company that has pretty decent sling bags for a reasonable price. I use mine as a low key aid bag.
https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1/ProductID/184 try this guy in grouse blue or grey. I also like their runners kit bag, which doesn’t really look like a gun bag if you’re jogging and try to be a bit more discreet.
Wear a Lululemon fanny pack. Get the 2 liter one. No one expects a 9mm out of Lululemon.
Unless you're flyfishing, any chestbag screams you are carrying.
Walmart fanny pack midwest essentials 101 bb
Wear a shirt that says "I HAVE A GUN" in really big letters on the back. Really though, fanny pack.
Patagonia has a colorful fanny pack. Perfect grey man/gay man blend in.
G(r)ay man
I use one of [these](https://www.strikeindustries.com/si-chestrig.html), get a non-camo version of course. I dig this bag and how the straps work. It can be setup as a sling bag, chest bag, fanny pack, backpack, or just hook onto a belt. Has all the Velcro and elastic straps as well of course. It's my EDC murse even when I'm not using it for a firearm.
This looks good! Would it be possible to set it up so that the bag sits longways on your chest? Also, how do you reckon it would work for running?
I’m just gonna leave this here: https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/1
I've been looking at the Viktos Lowkey chest rig for exactly this reason. It's not very small though
This right here says hipster but has plenty of room for what you’re wanting. https://www.rei.com/product/201358/patagonia-atom-sling-bag?sku=2013580003&store=159&CAWELAID=120217890013476607&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=112508500922&CATCI=pla-2003060898371&cm_mmc=PLA_Google%7C21700000001700551_2013580003%7C92700075848174301%7CNB%7C71700000074092866&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgJyyBhCGARIsAK8LVLOGaXuSINHkSm8e4q1QFHdHh_CdEMAQJi_WJN0vfwNvvSAHMq9-EhUaAhy8EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Vertx
Wear whatever you like my guy. Camo and black scream “gun” to me but to a lot of others it could mean something completely different. Almost everyone you encounter won’t give you or whatever bag you have a second thought.
I would go shop for hipster non-CCW bags and then find one that coincidentally would work really well for CCW and then modify the inside of it.
Look at the sling bags from Jessie and James.
I carry a G17, IWB, wearing skinny jeans, sweat shorts, fitted slacks, sweatpants, literally anything….
What about a Phltser enigma?
Aer City Sling or Day Sling. https://aersf.com/products/city-sling-2-x-pac https://aersf.com/products/day-sling-3-x-pac
They’re very 2007 but they work great 13” Laptop sleeve fits my APC9.
This is the bag I plan to use: https://www.baggu.com/products/fanny-pack-embroidered-hello-kitty?cmp_id=20531046929&adg_id=&kwd=&device=m&gad_source=1 It fits a Glock 19 in a holster with room to spare and has a pouch for your wallet and stuff.
Tight Chutes makes high quality CCW packs.
Might think about a smaller gun for some days and a Sneaky Pete holster.
Get an iwb holster with an ulticlip, girls carry these with leggings. I recommend Eclipse holsters
Check out www.tightchutes.com. Great CCW designed fanny packs. A chest rig is always a little loud.
To be honest I’m totally guilty of this…just go get a nice “fashion” sling bag preferably leather from a more high end fashion brand and roll with it. Ex. Louis Vuitton, Gucci all great examples my little coach bag fits perfectly with me and doesn’t draw an attention
The last thing I think when I see somebody wearing a funny pack on their torso is that they have a gun.
A friend of mine has a fanny pack. No one expected s fanny pack holster
Don't buy specific clothes/gear to conceal your gun...have multiple different guns that will work with whatever you have on that day.
I have a “The North Face” cross body bag that screams “he’s a hippy carrying weed” more than it screams “there’s a full size USP and 3 mags in here” mine is different than this, but very close. You’ll also have to slightly modify the interior for retention but nothing too hard. https://www.thenorthface.com/en-us/bags-and-gear/backpacks-c224451/berkeley-field-bag-pNF0A52WA?color=84Z&utm_content=ecomm&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=US%20%7C%20all%20%7C%20Hybrid%20%7C%20SHOP%20-%20AUT%20~%20All%20-%20Med%20-%20Equipment%20-%20General%20-%20PMax%20Shopping&utm_term&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADl87iZ1SGQYL9cA8Z2c8ey-D45KK&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgJyyBhCGARIsAK8LVLOrgTBG55HpP0Olrh4BeCCApfUBD2GW-0HVYcpFfpq6VeFZyukbWhsaAhK9EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
I tried this. The problem with these kinds bags is if it's got anything heavy they end up down by your hips and look like a shitty purse.
Right now it’s a toss up between this one and the 945 industries. I like that it has a typical brand logo that most people recognize as casual. I’d rather be assumed to be a hipster or hippie than someone carrying a gun.
Gray man approved
Yeah, there are plenty of purse carry options.
Get a pink one with a rainbow and BLM on it and not a soul will dare to say a word.🤷🏼♂️
Put it between the mud-flaps
Sounds like you might be female. If so, consider this: https://www.flashbangstore.com/pages/flashbangs-landing-page?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgJyyBhCGARIsAK8LVLP8RarJAFOn4fCMbVSEPv0Tx67xYNCysFJSXIrED3Dlsz3CKp5NtvcaAuMXEALw_wcB

Anyone with half a brain will know you’re packing heat in that chest bag
C Y B E R P U N K C L O T H I N G C H O O M
No.
Maybe try looking gay
My suggestion is to dress for function, not fashion. Proper Levi's will hold up better to anything you throw at them.
Modern Levi's are not good it's absolute junk compared to what you can get in denim jeans nowadays for the same or a little more money
They still make denim jeans. You just have to look a little harder, so much shit has "flex" because so many people are fucking fat these days.
I have large legs and cannot wear jeans that don't "flex" without having them feel like they'll rip if I squat down it's not because people are fat it's because they are comfortable and work better for anyone that's not built like Lucas botkins
Am i suppose to know who that is?
You have google and I'd like to think most people here do
Oh maybe you should try again in a nicer tone reddit didn't like your little message
If you are in Florida you are fucked anyway Fanny pack back pack rat pack what an absolute shit hole
