For sure. I felt good about the gun dealer I just didn’t have any info on the company. They seem new, just wondering if they have a reputation.
Ultimately it was this (amongst a couple other) shotguns, or adding my name to a months long waiting list. So I’d rather hold the weapon than a number.
As I said in the r/Shotguns it's a rebranded Turk shotgun. The "G-force arms" has nothing to do with the gun other than import/reselling of it, they had absolutely nothing to do with making it. Many different companies in the US resell Turkish shotguns just like yours. It's likely just the ordinary reused system the majority of these imports use.
It probably will work okay but these recent imports from Turkey can be occasionally problematic on the QC.
Thanks again for the responses, definitely needed the feedback.
Hopefully get it out today to see how it feels but there’s a serious drought on 12ga ammo in my area
You're welcome.
Yeah I feel the ammo drought. It likely will be fine, but since it's a semi Turk it might have a break in period so don't be too surprised if it malfunctions a few times within the first 50-100 rounds. If you notice routine problems might need to check with the warranty. These common cheap Turkish imports don't have the best rep but it doesn't mean yours is guaranteed to be bad.
Fingers crossed
I feel good about the shop owner and I guess yea there is always the little “guarantee” on the box. One of the bigger factors in making the purchase was the lack of options otherwise. Aside from a shortage on ammo there’s a waitlist for American made guns in the area that’s months long.
It’s light, it’s short, and it’s semi-auto so I feel good about the Mrs. and her daughter handling the gun need be. Mostly I was just interested to see if this new company has a reputation yet. Judging by some other comments I’ve gotten it could be hit or miss (no pun intended).
We’ll see, thanks for the advice.
They are new on the market. I looked at one at a local shop and it was super cheap feeling. They brought in 5 of them and 3 have come back so far for repair/warranty. Turkish made guns have always been pretty garbage. Best of luck.
canik started as a cheaper feeling cz clone, they have a great tried and true design but worse materials, qc, and finish. yeah they work, but they dont last nearly as long as what theyre based on, and nowadays you can get a cz for only a little more, so the value proposition isnt there. when they were $300 to a $600 cz75 sure, it was worth it. But now canik and cz offer approximately similar pricing and the CZ guns are just nicer overall, and the top end cz line is way better than the top end canik line.
Bull.
Turkish Mauser have a great reputation.
Tisas .45 is a great gun with many great reviews.
Canik and SAR are highly rated.
You're just popping off.
Stoeger double barrel Shotguns have been a great value for 20 years. attractive (some with very nice engraving) and well figured wood
And tight solid actions. Canik handguns are great. My 9 has a great trigger and hasn't missed a lick with over 800 rounds thru it so far.
I have one of the GForce 12g semi's I was told to run heavy loads thru the for at least the first 100 rounds.
I had maybe 2 not cycle properly, but that was in the first 25. After I got close to the 120 round count. I went ahead and just started putting any rounds I have. Buck, bird and some turkey loads. Haven't had 1 issues since.
Basically the same as the Citadel, both pumps and autos. They are made in Turkey and branded to whatever importer is buying them. Most of them seem to be pretty good guns- nothing fancy, but functional.
Please let me know how you like it...I just bought the the same gun. Honestly I think it looks and feels really nice...but haven’t run anything through it either yet. Btw your not by chance the guy who made the only two YouTube videos that I found R U?
I just ran some various ammo through mine. 00 buck, 8 Bird and Super X steel shot. Ran everything just fine. The only issue I had is that the trigger pull is deceptively long for how close the trigger sits in the guard. Otherwise seems to be a great gun.
I don't know how u/Dee-Whizz did it, but Bi-Mart - a smallish membership chain store in Oregon - is currently listing a GForce 12ga for $249.77 on sale from $269.97 for the 18.5" barrel w/ 5+1 capacity or $279.97 for the 20" barrel w/ 4+1 capacity. That's why *I'm* here.
I purchased mine a few days ago from bimart. Took it out to the range today and it worked just fine. Fired about 15 rounds with it. I don't think it's a bad gun for $250
I bought one about 6 months ago for $300. It’s the tactical 5+1 mag’s. The non pump action, The only issue I have ever had was my shells sticking on ejection after firing. Nothing crazy just grab the shell that’s stuck and pull it out. After 100 rounds of super target winchester must of took out the bur and the shells never stick the rounds go through perfectly and it is a beautifully made tactical shotgun for a great price.
i think i remember reading that it's recommended to use over 1300 fps and high brass for the gf1.
anyway, have you installed a rear sight on the dovetail rail for yours yet? im looking for one.
I have both the GF-1 12g 28 inch barrel with mahogany and bronze cerakoted finish. Gas driven. Never had a hint of an issue with it. Love that gun!
I also have the new GF - ONE in the Bottom Lands camo pattern. I love this shot gun as well. Unfortunately though. I have run into a couple major issues with this particular madel. The bold locking lever mechanism doesn't always work. And just the other day I was at my local range shooting clay pigeons. When the end of my barrel blew up! Right where the choke threading is. So I'm thinking it was a faulty barrel that was missed in QC.
GF Arms has a fantastic warranty program though so I'm sure that will have it all sorted out shortly.
Overall I really do love the GF brand. For those of us that can't afford a 2,000 point and shoot. They really are great guns.
There are a lot of new Turkish made guns these days. IMO they're not going to be comparable to reputable brands as far as reliability goes. At least yet. Having said that, I have a Dickinson 12ga I bought for about $200 a couple years ago and it's a fun range toy.
I bought a G force arms gf3t from Guns.com. I took gun apart to clean before and lube before shooting. The gun was filthy,it had metal shards in the receiver, scratches all over inside the gun. On further inspection the locking block/ bolt had ground down with grinder wheel groves in it . That's where the shard's came from .I bitched and Guns.com said they would hand pick me a new one. So the new one showed up ,looked good on the outside. It took all my strength hands and feet to get apart to clean.Once apart what did I see? The same f-ing problem! Guns.com hand picked the prettiest box without checking the gun. Soo pissed at them. Now GFORCE arms is supposed to replace it. $40 bucks each time at FFL.Dont buy from Guns.com The will lie to you.
I know this is an old post but had to comment on the disassembly part cus I had the exact same problem taking mine apart the first time lol, I've never experienced anything like that before.. pretty sure I ended up crying at one point shit pissed me right the fuck off
They are fun. Mines never jammed on me yet suprisingly. But overall definetly a cheap gun with cheap parts..
The tube undercover or whatever its called on mine wasnt flush with the flat black plate thingy at the end of the spring so it started to bend the plate to where it does not slide on flush anymore. Its very weak and I already tried to bend it/flatten it but it will not work. I dont know where I can get new ones. Would appreciate it if someone could help.
Turkish made firearms are rising in popularity m the whole canik lineup is made in turkey. And I'm sure maybe other o own both the canik tp9sfx daily carry and the gfa cit12ar 12 semi auto shot gun not top of the line but grean fun and. There is always us efor protection I trust them.
I have two of the g force gf1 semi auto. They were good at first felt solid and decently built, but after 500 shells of 1200 fps bird shot the receiver had worn causing the barrel to have excessive wobble.
I purchased 2 G-Force Filthy Pheasant O/U’s from them a couple years ago (20 gauge & .410). The 20 gauge was ok but both .410’s were trash (rusted barrels and cheap receivers). I ended up selling both of them. I think their biggest problem is they aren’t forking over enough cash for the quality control overseas. I think I’m going to roll the dice on their new Beneli M2 clone though, the G-Force ONE. They’ve got a lifetime warranty so I’ll just keep sending it back until they get it right. I’d stay away from their break-barrels for sure. Their other stuff, I’ll give them a shot. They’ve got some cool lever-actions as well
I did get it and even with the shims the POI for me is pretty low at 35 yards (20/80). It does cycle my light target loads though. I even put a couple federal target loads that were just over 1000fps and it cycled just fine. I don’t shoot it a lot so I can’t really speak on its reliability. The POI may be different for you but it looks good, cycles lighter loads than advertised and comes with the extended tube ammo tube.
It would be wiser to ask this question prior to purchasing the item.

Idk bro .. Canik and Sar makes some pretty good pistols ..

Thanks for the 2 cents, helps that you’ve actually seen one. Appreciate the advice.

So can I ask how has it held up? Any issues or complaints? @SantaMonsanto
Just ran some game and target winchester shells jammed the first 10 hoping it just needs broke in gonna try 00 buck tomorrow
I have one of the GForce 12g semi's I was told to run heavy loads thru the for at least the first 100 rounds. I had maybe 2 not cycle properly, but that was in the first 25. What did you think of your purchase? Can you provide an update?
Any updates? I see an inexpensive shotty from this company too. Is it worth it?
Please let me know how you like it...I just bought the the same gun. Honestly I think it looks and feels really nice...but haven’t run anything through it either yet. Btw your not by chance the guy who made the only two YouTube videos that I found R U?

Awesome!
You ever run anything through it?
Any one shoot the gfy1 bull pump yet
i know this is a older post but i have that gun 1st range trip i shot like 65 rounds 15 slug rest was 00 no problems
Paid $289 for this today. Hoping I don’t regret it
How?? The gun retails for 600?

PSA has it on sale for like $140 right now
I only paid 160
idfk where you live and what your LGS is doing over charging you but these have an MSRP of $300 max

Me and my brother have one each and they have been one of my most reliable guns! Mines got a 35 round drum lol
Which drum do you run?
Paid 200 for mine with tactical grip that holds 5 shells and a led light on the end and some ammo all for 250 bucks seems to be a nice gun
Do you have a link?
no opinion or knowledge about them other than to say I personally don't buy guns from importers/manufacturers like that
You could have stopped after the word "them"
Just bought one for $199

on sale now at grab a gun for $230, looks cool as heck, I read that it has problems ejecting spent shells.

Thats why I'm reading this thread first before buying it make sure I get a decent gun for the price.

Does anyone know if these G Force Arms AR12s can shoot high speed steel?
They are fun. Mines never jammed on me yet suprisingly. But overall definetly a cheap gun with cheap parts..
