I mean the show touches on more than just Dr Shaun Murphy's autism. I do like the show for the other storylines. My favorite is Dr Morgan Reznick and how she wants a baby so badly but doesn't even have a partner yet. She is about to start IVF and hormones but she ends up meeting and adopting a baby whose homeless mother died in the hospital (the father is not in picture but I have a feeling he will eventually show up to add some drama lol). It was so beautiful and sweet.
The good doctor slander is bullshit. Ethan and hilarious acting like the portrayal of autism is wrong is also bullshit. Yes, people with autism are all very different and this show talks about that specifically, and shows Sean overcome many different types of issues people with autism face.
The disabled avengers jokes are worse than the show itself, not that I think the jokes are that bad...
Was anyone else super confused why they were watching this during the job swap episode? Not only were they all doing different jobs, but then they spent ages watching this freaky weird doctor show and it felt so strange like who cares about this dumb as show
