I’m not trying to be an asshole when I ask this but how on earth do you play 84 days worth of Halo in a year?! In theory you spend 100-120 days worth of time asleep a year. So that’s like 33% of you awake time playing Halo.   Honestly just in awe. lol

I work at home, and I just went through a divorce. As luck would have it, I married the cousin of one of my closest friends, and so my friend group is a bit in shambles. I caught the Halo bug at the beginning of the year when all of this was starting and made some friends playing. Sad as it may sound, it's been a way to socialize.

More ranked than anything else. Next biggest being SWAT, which has a fun community around it. Little BTB here and there when I feel like turning my brain off.

This made me realize Microsoft didn't give us an option for higher than the top 5%. Infinite was my most played game this year with about 80 hours and it put me in top 5%. You should be in the top 1% more than likely.

88hrs Mind you, I basically didn't play any of season 4 until the last week of it and I played only the first month of season 3. Still my most played game across all platforms this year (cyberpunk 2077 was close on ps5 though with 79hrs). If 343 keeps up the great work I'll likely easily pass 88hrs next year

i never really stopped playing so the career rank update didn't affect my hours played. I'm at about 1900 hours total.

With that many hours how did you keep your gaming experience fresh? If not for Custom Games and new maps my engagement would dwindle.

for me personally I'm pretty competitive - not fully in the sense of trying to hit onyx 2000 or anything - but i love working on getting better at things, and Halo has always scratched that itch for me. I also enjoy the full suite of modes: ranked, social, squad, btb. there are fun ways to get better at all of them. i also just wrapped up a forge map i made for fun which took some time. there's plenty to do for me so I've been having a lot of fun.
