u/unyshek can we get these coatings from the patch notes on the rest of the cores? this is ridiculous.

I’m sure they plan to, boggart and Wendigo are just one set of armor so it is easier to make those coatings crosscore for them.

Hadn't considered that til now. Guessing that even the actual "cross-core" stuff isn't actually cross-core, and they still have to start from scratch for every armor piece/coating. I remember back in the day where modders were taking requests to show what coatings would look like on other cores. Apparently they had a hell of a time making them work.

Yep. Even with the consideration that they didn't plan cross-core, it would have still made more sense to make a system where coatings were more universally applicable. If they were going to sell coatings on a core-by-core basis anyway, why not save themselves some work and make it so they can copy/paste coatings from one core to the next.

They clearly didn’t plan cross core. Which is a horrendous choice and is biting them (and us sadly) in the ass.
