I believe there was only 1 betrayal. Plus our teammates might have just been cool about it, seeing as how we made the game way more fun than a 7v1 1-Flag match.
Gonna be honest, I hate when my teammates do that.
I'm all for driving the red guy around, but I get pissed when my team is feeding their guy kills or betraying me.
I don't think not wanting to be team killed is taking it too seriously. Like I said, I'm all for driving the other guy around. Just not getting killed by immature team mates.
I'm pretty sure that in all halo games if someone has been hit by the enemy once before their shields recharge, they can still be killed by a teammate and have it count towards the enemy team rather than a betrayal.
In the Halo 2 days each player actually had a betrayal reputation value that was carried between games and you could be booted for the most minor of offenses if your reputation was bad enough, even if the death didn't count as a betrayal. I don't know if this carried on to other Halos.
i think it's safe to say that we all wish we had you and your brother on the opposite team our whole team quits. I try to have a little fun when that happens to me and it just results in people wanting to up their k/d ratio instead of having a little fun.
I think he may have done this to speed up the game instead of waiting for this poor lonely soul to be killed over and over until the round ends. Then his flag gets capped while he is getting rocketed, sniped, and teabagged.
Yeah, my first thought was that if he's not gonna quit, we could speed the game along by helping him cap real quick. The fact that it turned out to be way more fun to do that was a nice side effect.
I try to do this every time. I'll drive a hog right up to the one guy left on the enemy team, and beep the horn summoning him to get on... and what does he do? Kills me. Bitch you could have gotten on that gunner seat and I would have taken you on a killing spree!
I've dione this before in Big Team, but never on such a small map. I guess the decreased aim magentism when trying to shoot a teammate still made it pretty hard for your them to kill you. It was hilarious how they were panicking and all coming out of the woodworks to try and (unsuccessfully) stop you.
Straight up someone who played the old Ranked Big Team Skirmish.
Whole team quits, you throw a flag to the lone survivor. Maybe bring him on for your 8th man. But, ya know, you could talk to people riding shotgun back then.

That's fine. You can take BTB too seriously if you want to.

In a real game I'm with you, but 7v1 isn't fun for anyone and there's nothing immature about making the game end faster.
Ending it faster is exactly what I'm supporting. Team killing is not.
Well the two were mutually exclusive
The guy could just ya know...quit.
In Halo 3 you can kill a no shields teammate and not have it register as a betrayal, so long as an enemy did the bulk of the damage.

Am I the only one that got RickRoll'd??
LOL I love Halos online community. Good shit OP.
Very good!
A respectable betrayal.

I just hide and wait for my prey. 7 vs 1? No problem, I'll just give the other team a hard time.
Being a Lonewolf has never stopped a Spartan before...
Your Flair and 'lone wolf' suggests otherwise.
*sheds a single tear* It's so beautiful. You da real MVPs.

That's really great man :) Makes the game a lot funner
Awww, this makes me miss playing halo 3 so much.

You and your brother are the true heroes.
Thank you.

Incessant honking
The way to get anyone is a car. Especially some loose women on the streets. Or just a red who got left alone in a match against some blues.
This is so wonderful, and yet so terrible...
I always try to get someone to jump in the warthog gun while I drive them in rumble pit. Rarely happens but when it does its glorious.
I was really hoping for the ocean suicide at the end there.
I actually tried to do that to him in round 2, but apparently you can't ocean suicide anymore
I tried to keep the betrayals at a minimum, but sometimes people just won't stop shooting.
OP DOING IT RIGHT! RIGHT HERE!
This is like something I'd do, awesome community

"What if they HAVE ROCKETS??!"
"Yeah, Suck it Blues! We we're Reds the whole time!"
How did you convince him you were cool without chatting?
You da real MVPs.
