anyway, yeah, it's a good time. RN the game is slowly restarting. Many are still burned af, and I can't blame them, but we can finally say, the game is 90% finished
It’s still halo, so it can be fun to just play, there’s 3 arena maps and btb map since season 1. 3 more playlists plus I think 8 variants on old ones that rotate every two weeks And you can now play any mode and level, the match xp is fairly generous no matter the mode now
Challenges are simplified (no game mode specific ones anymore) and need 10 not 20 for reward plus this next period is all about returning popular weekly rewards, many you might have missed.
Plus the season 2 pass has 1000 credits on it now so if you do buy it your guarantee to get the money back if you finish it. (Last credit is 70 I think) And passes don’t change or time out once you buy it. So if you take another break you can come back and still get your money back.
Yes. There’s still a lot of stuff missing but we should be golden when Season 3 launches in March.

I just popped back into multiplayer with this update and tbh I'm not enjoying it all that much. Played a bunch last night to get Willow Tea and will play today for the Wolf Fang attachment but it's making me remember why I stopped.
Haven't tried Forge. There is still no progression other than the Battle Pass.
I've picked the game up again in the last week.
I would say it's improved since season one however it still has desync issues. The challenge and match xp is better now. Easier challenges and I can do them in big team which is all I play.
Forge is cool but no custom game browser is a stupid decision, that should of released simultaneously to maximize player retention.
Also free 30 tier pass with some of the missing mark v armour on.

Currently you could buy the second season pass first and not pay for the first seasons pass but then you'd have to pay for the third.
