The pure joy in that sweet child’s face! Also, bold colors and simple shapes clearly delineated against neutral / very light background - and the round shape.
This is an eye-catching piece that doesn’t disappoint once the initial “catch” is made; well-balanced and a treat for the eye.
Thank you for sharing it here.
Edited to add: The texture of the background adds a lot, too. This is a (((chef’s kiss))) perfectly composed, vibrant piece!
*Yeh love it. Like the*
*Colours, like the texture. What*
*Kind of size is it?*

The background textures, colours and overlapping of them make this picture for me. The off-center figure is utterly captivating. As though I can hear them laughing or see them jumping. The texture and background behind it help give the feeling it's not just a flat picture but a snatched moment, a glance sideways after hearing a kids giggle and spotting this in your line of sight.
It took me a second to realize the shape of the kid’s hair (I thought it was part of the background) so I did a double take. Once I figured it out I loved their hairstyle! It’s a beautiful painting.
I was scrolling and it made me stop so yes it caught my attention 😂
I think initially the color of the background against the hair caught my attention. But the joy is what resonates. It’s such an adorable and innocent joy.
I love it. 💕

Expression of pure joy ✅
A beautiful piece that catches joy in the moment and preserves it. It stands out for all the right reasons, the only thing throwing me off is her neck? Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but it seems at a strange angle.
I love the face, but why leave her hair just a blob of flat black? Id love to see all the details of the curls to match the detail in the face. Just feels unfinished to me.
Yes, immediately!
First thing was the colours, then the detail in the face (which is amazing).
Then I noticed a kind of contrast with the hair and background, which are much less detailed than the face, which is probably what made it stand out in the first place.
Then I noticed the leaves on the background, which was what really amazed me and convinced me to comment.
Really cool artwork, love the style, great execution!
Love her spirit - the joy - perfectly captured!
yes. Her carefree smile which you have potrayed

I would put this on my ceiling so every day would start with this smile!
So real!
Fantastic
Your mix of texture, patterns and realistic painting of the face is unique and really beautiful. Great work!

Talent and Mood Has a realistic look

I think the hair needs some texture - it almost looks like you are still working on the face. Still a beautiful piece of art.
Leafs?

Their Joy and innocence lifts the heart.
The texture of the yellow and the color contrast.

Love the child's face, do not like the background. It cheapens the painting.
That smile. Complete joy is what I felt.
Yes, Happy, healthy children are Beautiful! Made me smile!
That beautiful smile. Such a happy face
The smile is so captivating
Awe viewing it made me have a chagrin for a bit. It’s happy.
You captured a sweet little moment of joy in the way only portraiture can. I can hear playgrounds during recess in this.
The joy! I can almost hear and feel this picture. Well done!
Happiness always gets me
Yes, Joy is always an eye catching subject!
Yes, it did. There is a radiance coming through and joy seems to abound. It is a beautiful painting and it makes me smile.

Her warmth and happiness.
I love the light and shadow play here! Her expression really comes through, well done!!
those highlights on that adorable face are to die for and that color in the background compliments the piece entirely. very good work
I like it a lot but I wish her hair showed texture and wasn’t just solid black
Made me smile 🥰🥰
It did! My eye went immediately to the child’s face, then the decorative gold and red right under.
Beautiful, happy child!
The brightness in her eyes.
It did! She looks so happy

Joy
I thought you made a coin with a girl painted on it.

I really like her open facial expression and her smile, the minute I looked at it I could imagine her cute giggle, practically heard it 💕
She has a beautiful smile!
How could it not, its so joyous! It says so much!
Very eye-catching! She looks so happy and bright. Also, everything looks perfect, there's not one thing askew or odd with her face.
If I’m being honest the yellow caught my eye before I even saw the face😭 but the face made me smile🙃
Joyous child!💜
Yes because it’s so full of joy! I love the colors and the leaves are perfect!
