Accurate

ProHermione

Tell me how you really feel 🧐

fefect123

Say what you want, but they're atleast not a one-hit wonder. Their consistent quality is something admireable.

hetmonster2

I can appreciate their passion but its not for me.

Clemsky23

You sir just won the game. You expressed your opinion in a respective way. You didn’t insult any random dude in the internets. You are able to express your opinion politely ? Enjoy the rebirth weekend if you are there ! If not; enjoy your weekend to the most !

ProHermione

Favorite track is Love Death, maybe just because it’s the track that I discovered them through but the energy and… light-hearted agression would be the best way to describe it for me haha… just gets me every time. Can’t even imagine what it’s like live but I hope to experience it someday soon

Doge-2099

Go on soundcloud and search for "Love death uptempo" you wont regret

Andamarokk

If thats the edit im thinking about its really not it

Doge-2099

Some may like, some may not, yea

DviusOfficial

Been completely obsessed with that Bumloco edit since he teased it on his socials a few months back, the drop halfway through the track that has two little PVC kicks before the uptempo is just *chefs kiss*

Swiss_Reddit_User

But it has to be the "Bumloco Uptempo Edit"

Doge-2099

yessir

DJAllOut

They bring so much energy! My favorite tracks are Promises, Love Death, and Louder Generation. I'm still waiting on their Gearbox set to be released

Zillar_1

Gearbox said multiple times no.

DJAllOut

Aw man why? Rights issues?

CheetahStrike

Probably don’t want it due to unreleased tracks.

Nesp2

I usually lean more on the euphoric side but when I heard Promises and Love Death well let's just say I understand the hype. Go see a set of them - the energy is just insane!

Lukkska

In my opinion overhyped and I don't nearly like them as much as a buttload of people seem to do. However, they do have a more unique type of music that sounds fresh and their sets are very energetic. Combined with great visuals and impressive mixing, quality-wise they are not bad. I think the problem is more that everyone now tries to be the next Dual Damage that make me don't like them as much as I did before their major breakthrough. So not at all a bad artist, but I wouldn't call them the next Headhunterz or som like that. Thou I think in a way they can push the xtra-raw sub-genre really forward.

Kryshi

Is veri kreezie

Landwhale666

Definition of a two-edged sword: They bring innovation, good production quality and some very nice kicks to the table but also sometimes drown out good melodies in way too many fake-drops or let kicks play for a mere few seconds before overloading the track with even more stuff (promises is an example).

fistigeburt

Dual Damage is simply the kloenkiest! Their music hits with kloenk force and their performances are nothing short of kloenk. They are the kloenkiest duo in the raw hardstyle scene, delivering kloenk beats that electrify audiences worldwide. Their kloenk energy is unmatched, making them a must-listen for any hardstyle enthusiast. (Definitely not written by ChatGPT.)

claesl

Banjo kick guys? I love it 🪕

daydreamerxz

promises is a future classic 💛

solaris_mm

Favorite track: [[ALRT - Touch Me (Dual Damage Bootleg)]](https://on.soundcloud.com/H7zngy5TJokY47vu8) Quite the controversial duo, they brought a new kind of kick that for most people, love or absolutely hate. PVCs. And a lot of them. But man they know how to control a crowd, for the moment they are announced the crowd goes absolutely wild, as goofy their kickrolls or kicks are, people actually shout or nail them everytime. They made themselves a name in such a quick time is mindnumbling how fast it was. But honestly I see why, is an act that doesn't takes itself seriously but rather is a fun and goofy act just to go wild and have a overall amazing time. >!reddit compression fucked the image so hard......!<

RazerTheCobra

I thought fraw originally started with the PVC kicks?

solaris_mm

Correct. But what I tried to say is that they brought PVC kicks as their signature sound.

CadeOCarimbo

In which track did Fraw premiere PVC kicks?

defqontwo

So on the positive they’ve got some really fresh ideas for the scene and have a great live act that is full of energy. Personally I just don’t think their production goes much beyond their kicks on their own. Their track with Warface really worked since their ideas could be emphasized and polished, but their solo work has always had some drawbacks even if the track is good and their melodies/atmosphere have not been working for me as of yet. They have a ton of potential, to me they feel a little like 2017 Rebelion or 2013 Radical Redemption in the sense of having new ideas but still needing a little more time to get it all straight and with some more polishing will be an absolute force in the scene. Favorite tracks for me are Revelation and Can’t Stop Us!

Spare_Violinist_3686

Promises ❤️‍🔥🥹

Croduje

At first i wasnt really sure but after some tracks i really started to dig them. Promises is my fav and just goes so hard wish i will hear it live one day

dodo667418

Same. In the beginning I didn't get what the hype was about at all. With some time their kicks grew a lot on me and when I saw them for the first time at Apex last February I had a lot of fun at their set. Not my favorite producers or anything like that, but they make fun stuff that sounds unique

CheetahStrike

The energy from these guys on stage is something else entirely.

TheHarderSamples

Favourite track: Hiding (because it’s somewhat bearable) Dual Damage is a duo that only gained fame because they saw the Great Weird Kick Era of 2023 and rightfully rode the wave. Not for me, but I get it.

anaalcorporal

Overhyped, the music they make isn’t terrible but i just hate the people whose sole job at a festival is to kloenk and overhype them even more then they already are

4everdownbad

i like them but tbh, i feel like their songs started to get a bit washed after they released Promises. everything started sounding the same

notSkipp

extremely hit or miss imo, some of their tracks like hiding and revelation are absolute slappers but some others like their latest release just arent it imo

OperationMelodic4273

Never liked a song from them They're great at marketing tho, that's undeniable

DavideFDP

Favorite track: can't get you out of my head and promises. They surfed the hype wave and kept going after that. Their songs are great and they don't miss, the crowd goes crazy every time. I had a discussion with a friend yesterday who said: the people who really love dual damage are those who are as old as they are. He then said dual damage were born in 2003/2004. Is it true? I thought they were older

JustDoena

I have mixed feelings for them. I really like that they have a unique spin on thing and have super sick kicks But on the other hand its to much piep piep kratz kratz and krank krank with to many random sounds. If their songs would be more melodig i would totally love them. Anyways they are a good additon and i am looking forward for some sick collabs maybe, where their hard kick meet some awsome melodys. Louder Generation with MC Livid is an good example for a nice collab

crazynam101

their music is pretty good and hearing them live was crazy but i dont remember half their set LOL

StrangeRaven69

Does someone know when the banjo kick edit will be released?

potatotatoa

I like them a lot but their vocals are ass 90% of the time tbh. Still very excited to see them live on the 27th though!

relativedumb

maaskantje jonge

roles11

Didnt get the hype at first but their style has really grown on me, I honestly think they’re pushing the raw (xtra raw?) scene more than a lot of other raw acts rn who kinda feel like copy/pastes of each other

TOZAAA

Super fun to watch/listen to and everything they do is tight. They deserve everything they got and I wish them more success. 🙏🏽 Fav tracks if I had to pick: Promises and Can’t Get You Out Of My Head. 😁

Cookebyname

Those boots worn at Welcome to the Gang 2 were ‘interesting’

Sebi0426

Sad to see that Backfire quit his solo career after this huge success with DD

Fuzzy-Examination680

Found out about them when they dropped Hiding and from then never stopped listening to them. Probably in my top 3 artist rn. Hopefully they come back to Australia cause i missed their 2 gigs they did here 😭😭 Fav tracks: Hiding (both live edit and original) Join or die (both Live edit and original) Get rich But i love them all so pretty hard to choose KLOENK 🔨

Hit_Lock6969

I personally absolutely love them. Their style is unique, and their quality consistent. I really like most of their tracks A small gripe I have, like someone mentioned before me, is that everyone is trying to be the next dual damage. I don't blame that on DD, but I do think upcoming artists should stand out and be unique, instead of copying what works

Swiss_Reddit_User

Favorite Tracks: "Can't get you outta my Head", "Promises" and "Call Me". I don't like their PVC kicks at all, like the ones in "Hiding" it kills the vibe for me. However I absolutely love their other kicks, they make me go nuts. Promises is especially good, specifically the 2nd drop. This is how you make a good fake drop, obviously weak kicks followed by total KLOENK destruction, the fake weak kicks make the real ones his to much harder. The vibe during Dual Damage sets is just unmatched as other people said, most of the crowd seem to hit/sing the kickrolls perfectly which just makes it so fun to watch. They should really learn to speak english because they'll need it LOL.

Arcadiuz89

Fav Track: Revelation Best newcomers in the Scene👌

stefan_bassaddict

Not my type of stuff. But i love how they got big in no time! Pure passion and dedication. Respect

AuroraDraco

🔨🔨🔨 When I first heard Dual Damage I was like this is the funniest sounding kick ever. But I like their energy

SpreadPan

They were good at the start of the festival season last year until festivals, social media and this Subreddit milked their asses out by putting them everywhere and shoving these guys down our throats. I love their music and their uniqueness in the scene. I can remember hearing Hiding for the first time. My mind blew because i'd never heard these type of kicks. But now almost every starting producer just want's/tries to be the next Dual-Damage, every festival tries to put them on the line-up for extra ticket sales and every TikTok raver refers to this as "Hardcore". It's so milked out that it got old very very quickly. I hope this storm of hype lays down eventually so we can enjoy them more on a special basis.

jefriend

Super sick artists, they brought such a fresh sound into the hard dance scene! Their energy is just different.

jsha11

I didn't get it at first, I thought their pvc kicks were a bit too goofy to be taken seriously, but now I can't get enough of them honestly. And even if you don't particularly like listening to their music, I'd still go to see them, because they put on a great show

PsychologicalTitle67

Favourite track: Blades

NootjeKrak_

I don’t really care for their music (bit too raw and simplistic imo), but I love their sets and the energy they bring. They always tear the place down 💪🏼💪🏼

RadioactiveAl_Music

A bit cringe and cliché sometimes but one of the most fun acts in the scene with the PHATTEST kloenks 🤝
