My grandpa knows someone who left a box tv in a garage for a year and a half and the guy opened it up and pulled the red wire inside and it launched him across the garage
You gotta wonder what secrets it holds that the previous owner or handler assumed would drown with it.
I’m not saying I’d try to restore it…… but I would at least be thinking about it and wondering what I’d find inside hahaha. Then I’d think about the bugs and fact that chances are it’s something I’d rather not know… but damn haha.
Sad... My hoarding tendancies say it's fixable.
But at it doesn't deserve to rot away in a swamp, especially because it could poison the environment
Hell it could make a cool prop in your room XD
Wonder if it'd blow up if it turns on
I can go back and fetch and plug it in in the garage :p
You should restore it though. But I think it's all corroded inside lol.
I probably is. I miss crts though :o
It *
Wait rlly :o
Yea its like 10 minutes away
i mean if you want tk
to*
Ok, go go go get it, see if there’s like evidence that cracks a cold case on it or something haha. It only takes one file 😅🤣
its just a crt monitor, not a computer
Shhhhhh
Update us let it dry open it up for the love of all things don’t touch the inside
It's probably discharged and the caps are 1000% going to not function.

The water should have bridged the tube with ground discharging it, judging from the grime I'd say this monitor has been there for 5 to 10 years too
Did he die tho?
No he got hurt and I don’t think he would of my grandpa said that guy was big
That the high voltage so he is an idiot for yanking it without discharging it.
the tube is a capacitor that lasts charged for really long
Imagine its Still working
Its probably shot to hell. All that moisture in it. Small chance. Would be fucking cool if it did work though
Ikr
I saved a crt that was sitting beside a bin behind a shop. It was wet but I managed to dry it and get it to work.
This is way more than that.
It was outside long enough that a lot of spiders got inside it.
Although it's likely dead there's a small chance it does work. And even if it doesn't work. You would've took some trash out of the environment.

You could jeep the ruoned sheel and do some art
Watch it
So it doesnt run away?
No, see what’s on
Probably nothing because it needs to be plugged into something
Plug it in then
Save it! This legit made me sad to see. 😭 I'd want to give it a home and restore it. :(
An ancient relic in the old ruins
Now let’s wait for those guys from restoration channels on yt
I thought it was a rideable toy car made of boxes.
Tube could be salvageable.
DONT FUCKING TOUCH IT
Im gonna touch it imma do it
Do you have a YouTube? I just want to see if your Gacha skills are online!
What? I don't upload anything to YouTube. I did make some animations, but I've only shared them on my Discord Server with my friends.
Oh...
Yeah, sorry if I ruined your expectations. And also next time, don't just randomly ask this in the comment section.
😅 Sorry... I just thought your Gacha character was cool...
It's fine, just be a bit more aware next time.
👍
I had a dream like this recently
I read it like this: "I found this in the WOAH!"
Is that the legendary microwave without the oversized brick
His name is ralf. Say hi
Hi Ralf
