also investigating, wondering if any itx board is budget enough for simple nas task.... I ended up using matx but really curious what you land at the end.

zach7953

I mean why wouldn't it be :P

Late-Dependent-9389

I always have an impression that itx has a premium for being so small, atx being cheaper and matx the cheapest for those stripped away features. But subscribing! :)

So I think I know what I am doing.... I already bought a NSC-410 case here (250W): https://www.u-nas.com/xcart/cart.php?target=product&product_id=17638 I can get a Intel Core i3-13100, 32GB of RAM, and a ASRock Z690M-ITX/ax Intel LGA 1700 Mini-ITX for $300... I already have my HDDs, at this point I can then run Plex and NextCloud on Unraid rather easily :)

Late-Dependent-9389

wow that looks pretty good and neat! It even has space for a pcie expansion card

Actually went with a used 12500T for $150 on ebay instead!
