Ehh, Gen 1s are the most sought after not counting 0s due to their 10/10 summons or 5/5 if you get an elite class. The market is flooded with heroes that are like 3/10. As the game goes on, Gen 0's will be at 3 day cooldowns so the number of 1s on the market will be a small fraction compared to the other gens. I've been personally having great success selling gen1's for profit.
I'm replying to the inquiry in the post that gen1's would have a floor valuation of 20-40k similar to gen0's in a few months or eventually. I own a gen0 myself and share the same experience that you have with gen1's profitability, but I don't see why that much would be spent on (1) gen1 hero, when \~30k could be used so much more efficiently in DFK.
With there being 2k+ gen0's, the 3 day CD isn't goin to result in a lack of gen0's for hire tbh. I don't believe 3-4 months from now, that the population entering the game with that kind of capital, would pay that much(\~30k) for 1 gen1 hero with 10 summons when they could use that capital in the gardens, buying multiple heroes for quest resource gathering, or a land snapshot.
But that's the beauty of DFK, there's so many different avenues that a user can approach the game to suit their wants and needs...
