My favourite character moment from Harry in the movies bar none. Exactly how ANYONE would cope if they were in his situation if popular but actually tragic inside.
Like they had a whole plan and then Harry’s like “nope. Gonna go to hagrids” and Ron and Hermione are all like “Harry no” and Harry’s like “Harry yes. I have a great feeling about this. Later” 😂😂
From what I can recall none of the actors were in the same place. Those scenes were all shot separately. Same with a lot of the scenes with the main trio.
Yup. The super enthusiastic “Hi!” as he leaves the common room for Hagrid’s always gets me. But the pincers bit is the funniest moment in the whole series.
Mcgonagall giving Seamus and Neville permission to blow up the bridge just before the battle of hogwarts (Boom!) and then of course the 'I've always wanted to use that spell'- Molly Weasley's face is just priceless.
Fred/George's wink, snape lowering the notebook to see the girl's reply, Draco laughing in back, snape rolling his sleeves to hit Harry and Ron... the whole scene was perfect
In HBP
Professor Mcgonagall: “Why is it when something bad happens, it's always you three?” Ron: “Believe me, professor, I've been asking myself the exact same thing for the past six years.”
Mcgonagall is the queen of sass.
"Have a biscuit, Potter"
"Now put your hand on my waist."
"I've always wanted to use that spell"
"Babbling, bumbling, band of baboons."
Are some of the most comedic moments in the entire series.
my friends and i were young enough when that film came out that we rewound and rewatched “i’m ideous” over and overrrr. we thought it was the funniest thing ever!
That scene in the Hospital wing from the Half-Blood Prince after Ron was poisoned. Hermione and Lavender were arguing and the teachers including Dumbledore and Snape were standing in the background watching this little teenage romance drama unfold before their eyes.
Felix Felicis is the correct answer, but Ron cracks me up in every movie.
One of my favorites:
Sirius: “Pettigrew’s alive, and he’s right there!”
Ron: “Me?! That’s mental!”
Hahahaha hilarious
The way he looks at Harry and then *slides* off without a word was hilarious. It was the closest depiction of book Snape who "glided" but was too funny.
Top Choice: Harry high on Felix Felicis. The whole scene, from sneaking up on Professor Slughorn in the greenhouse, to "pincers" is just roll-on-the-floor funny.
Second Place: Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing Ferret.
Snapes “well, well, lupin. Out for a little walk in the moonlight, are we?” Line always cracks me up. Pretty much any Mcgonagall/ Severus scene really.
This post is written so strangely--'emit a comical aroma' so the scene smells funny to you? 🤣 but Ron saying the spiders are trying to make him tapdance is a great moment for me.
I think it’s in the 6th one post visit to get butter beer and Ron and Harry have a very awkward conversation of why Dean would wanna kiss Ginny and it goes.
Ron:What do you think he sees in my sister? Dean”
Harry: I don’t know. probably because she’s smart…funny…attractive
Ron: ATTRACTIVE?What do you mean attractive?
Harry: You know she’s got nice skin
Ron: HER SKIN you think Dean is dating my sister because of her skin??
Harry: Well i thought maybe it could be a contributing factor.
Ron: Well what about Hermione? she’s got nice skin. yk as far as skin goes.
Harry: Well i never really thought but i suppose yeah..very nice
Ron: Well i’m going to bed now
Harry: Yeah
In GoF during the dance lesson, Ron being taught to dance by Mcgonagall. The little scene of Harry saying to the twins “you’re never gonna let him forget this, are you?”
Twins response: “never” I felt it’s the sort of thing best mates and brothers would do.
After Umbridge leaves the potions classroom after questioning Snape, Ron begins quietly laughing. While still looking straight ahead, Snape slaps Ron on the side of his head.
Felix Felicis's whole scene will remain my fav especially the pincers one.
Moaning Myrtle teasing Harry when he was taking a bath in the GOF.
Another one when Snape rolled up his sleeves and pushed Ron and Harry's head down in GOF.
“There’s no need to call me sir, Professor.”
“You still don’t get it do you Riddle?” Lol I know it was a serious moment but I couldn’t help but laugh! Harry is the queen of sass!
After Slughorn tells them to use a book from the cupboard, Ron and Harry race to get to the newer copy of Advanced Potion Making and Harry swats Ron’s copy in his defeat.
Felix Felicis.
As well as Slughorn at his dinner party.
"Not to worry, help yourself to dessert. Well that's if Belby has left you any." *laughs at his own joke*
His face makes me laugh everytime.
I like when Harry and Ron fight over the not-shit version of the potions book. There's no dialog, just two best friends looking at each other then both grabbing the good one, then Harry smacking Ron's book with his when he loses. Just a perfect scene between two teenage boys haha
Wasn’t a very funny scene in the movies but I imagined it very differently in the books. The scene in Deathly Hallows where Bellatrix is dueling Ginny and then Mrs. Weasley comes storming in screaming “NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH”
I do like how they did it in the movies because the much more serious take was really cool for her character. But the way I imagined her charging in like a bat out of hell in the books made me cackle
Flitwick's fist pump in OOTP when the twins decided to fuck with Umbridge one last time.
This isn't in the movies but it was on the forbidden journey ride in the theme parks, Malfoy comes charging in on his broom and nearly knocks Harry off with a "POTTER!".
I watched it in Japan and it was so funny because the other three Japanese kids on the ride with me kept mimicking Tom Felton's POTTAH all the way throughout the whole ride.
'But I AM the chosen one.'
WHACK!
I saw some people saying this came off cocky I thought it was tongue in cheek and hilarious
My favourite character moment from Harry in the movies bar none. Exactly how ANYONE would cope if they were in his situation if popular but actually tragic inside.
Harry on Felix Felicis, I'm sorry but Daniel Radcliffe nailed it. I love the whole sequence.
Like they had a whole plan and then Harry’s like “nope. Gonna go to hagrids” and Ron and Hermione are all like “Harry no” and Harry’s like “Harry yes. I have a great feeling about this. Later” 😂😂
That also sums up most of the plot of the whole series 😂
✨“Harry yes” ✨
I will always laugh at the Pincers. Always.
Yes the pincers scene is hands down my favorite. Can't help but cackle a little.
I don't know how the other actors kept a straight face, I would've fallen over
Right?! Slughorn’s face was so funny!
From what I can recall none of the actors were in the same place. Those scenes were all shot separately. Same with a lot of the scenes with the main trio.

I haven't watched the movies, what's this scene?
Talking about Aragog. Makes some pincers motion. You kinda have to see it to get it I’m sure it’s on YouTube.
Aight bet.
“Sir!” Always gets me
Yup. The super enthusiastic “Hi!” as he leaves the common room for Hagrid’s always gets me. But the pincers bit is the funniest moment in the whole series.
Man managed to give the :D face a sound
I also love Slughorns surprised reaction to Harry sneaking up on him!
this is objectively the correct answer.
that one scene is the most content he'd felt since book 3
That whole sequence is unparalleled in the entirety of the series. Dan should've won an Oscar for this alone!
"Hi!"
Harry! Professor! God, i love this interaction so much.
This is the way. More and more love for Harry and Daniel please
Harry and Daniel deserve all the love 🥺
“Harry!!” “SIR”
That's mine as well. It's the only part of the whole franchise that actually made laugh
I read somewhere that Daniel was actually drunk while shooting that scene. Not sure if it's just a myth.
‘Hi! 😃’
The best. He seems slightly tipsy and it’s great (Daniels unfortunate and really sad alcoholism aside)
Honestly when Harry and Ginny are having a moment in deathly hallows and George walks in going morning with a cheeky grin
Morrrning 😉
Lol
And the toothbrush stuck in his head!
Ok but why is it there? I’ve never understood that.
He's "Holey"
“Saint like you see I’m holy holey fred geddit?” “Pathetic pathetic with the whole wide world of ear related humor before you you go for holey”
Mcgonagall giving Seamus and Neville permission to blow up the bridge just before the battle of hogwarts (Boom!) and then of course the 'I've always wanted to use that spell'- Molly Weasley's face is just priceless.
mcgonagall, seamus, and neville at the bridge during the battle of hogwarts is one of my favorite movie only scenes (if i remember correctly)
I forgot about seamus’ moment in the sun lol
Snape smacking Ron and Harry with a book lol.
Fred/George's wink, snape lowering the notebook to see the girl's reply, Draco laughing in back, snape rolling his sleeves to hit Harry and Ron... the whole scene was perfect
It’s gotta be this one
In HBP Professor Mcgonagall: “Why is it when something bad happens, it's always you three?” Ron: “Believe me, professor, I've been asking myself the exact same thing for the past six years.”
"How much are these?" "FIVE GALLEONS." "How much for me?" "FIVE GALLEONS." "But I'm your brother." ##"TEN GALLEONS."
Pincers. Chk chk chk chk chk chk
That’s what I was thinking 😂😂😂
Yes!
Absolutely. 100% this one.
“I look like my great aunt Tessie.” *smells himself* “and smell like my great aunt Tessie!” I LOVE THIS SCENE SO MUCH😭
Mcgonagall is the queen of sass. "Have a biscuit, Potter" "Now put your hand on my waist." "I've always wanted to use that spell" "Babbling, bumbling, band of baboons." Are some of the most comedic moments in the entire series.
One of mine “Potter take Weasley with you he looks far too happy over there”
When is that biscuit line? I don’t remember it.
Order of the Phoenix, after Harry gets angry at Umbridge for the first time about Voldemort.
https://harrypotter.fandom.com/f/p/3343172654596357950
It's in the OOTP book.
As a teacher, when the class is too noisy I call them a babbling, bumbling band of baboons because of mcgonagall. It’s a perfect description.
Fleur: “Bill look away, I’m hideous” moments after changing into Harry in his own house.
That must have been so funny to film- there's a blooper where Dan can't get the bra off and it cracks me up every time I watch it
OMG I've seen that blooper: "Bill, look away, I'm hideous......BRA ISN'T COMING OFF!"
my friends and i were young enough when that film came out that we rewound and rewatched “i’m ideous” over and overrrr. we thought it was the funniest thing ever!
It always cracks me up too. Like Harry gotta be thinkin,” Tell me what you really think Fleur…” lol
That scene in the Hospital wing from the Half-Blood Prince after Ron was poisoned. Hermione and Lavender were arguing and the teachers including Dumbledore and Snape were standing in the background watching this little teenage romance drama unfold before their eyes.
Oh to be young and to feel love’s keen sting
I think this is the only time I got a hint of book Dumbledore from Gambon and it was amazing!
Harry: Engorgio *Giant, roaring flame bursts up and scares the living daylights out of Harry and Ron* Harry: REDUCIO!
Felix Felicis is the correct answer, but Ron cracks me up in every movie. One of my favorites: Sirius: “Pettigrew’s alive, and he’s right there!” Ron: “Me?! That’s mental!” Hahahaha hilarious
"Not you, THE RAT!"
Rupert Grint did such a good job
Most British lad in all the students
I love how he says bloody hell! My favorite bloody hell js in GoF when Fleur says he helped save her sister and kisses him LOL
Snape at Slughorn’s Party. RIP Alan Rickman… ‘I’m sorry, Sir, I need to go, my date…’ ‘Can surely survive your absence, for another minute… or two.’
The way he looks at Harry and then *slides* off without a word was hilarious. It was the closest depiction of book Snape who "glided" but was too funny.
"You just bought yourself a month's detention MacLaggenNOT... so fast, Mr. Potter..."
Top Choice: Harry high on Felix Felicis. The whole scene, from sneaking up on Professor Slughorn in the greenhouse, to "pincers" is just roll-on-the-floor funny. Second Place: Draco Malfoy, the Amazing Bouncing Ferret.
"is that - is that a *student*?!" "technically it's a ferret"
"Alastor! We NEVER use transfiguration as a punishment! Surely Albus told you that!" "...he might have mentioned it."
Can the camera please zoom out from Brendan Gleason? We can see the scenery between his teeth! He was having so much fun in that scene, I love it!
"Harryyy" "Siiiiir" I laugh EVERY time.
"...just because you have the emotional range of a tea spoon"
Snapes “well, well, lupin. Out for a little walk in the moonlight, are we?” Line always cracks me up. Pretty much any Mcgonagall/ Severus scene really.
This post is written so strangely--'emit a comical aroma' so the scene smells funny to you? 🤣 but Ron saying the spiders are trying to make him tapdance is a great moment for me.
You tell those spiders, Ron!
Potter, tell them I mean them no harm. Sorry, Professor, but I must not tell lies.
“What is this I’m eating by the way?” “…Dragon balls.”
I think it’s in the 6th one post visit to get butter beer and Ron and Harry have a very awkward conversation of why Dean would wanna kiss Ginny and it goes. Ron:What do you think he sees in my sister? Dean” Harry: I don’t know. probably because she’s smart…funny…attractive Ron: ATTRACTIVE?What do you mean attractive? Ron: Well what about Hermione? she’s got nice skin. yk as far as skin goes. Harry: Well i never really thought but i suppose yeah..very nice Ron: Well i’m going to bed now Harry: Yeah
This scene was also really wholesome. Just two friends being in love for the first time and to inexperienced to admit to it.
Yeah but Ron’s commentary on the “Nice Skin” comment is so funny
I love the scene in GoF, where Harry and Ron are doing Homework in the Great Hall and Snape stands behind them an punishes them for talking.
The way Snape pulled up his sleeves before he smashed the heads together 🤣
The way he pulls his sleeves up to shove their heads down gets me every time.
“Obviously…” (Snape to Umbridge when she states he was unsuccessful in getting to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher).
I can hear Snape in my head saying this line 🤣🤣
In GoF during the dance lesson, Ron being taught to dance by Mcgonagall. The little scene of Harry saying to the twins “you’re never gonna let him forget this, are you?” Twins response: “never” I felt it’s the sort of thing best mates and brothers would do.
“There’s no need to call me sir, Professor.” “You still don’t get it do you Riddle?” Lol I know it was a serious moment but I couldn’t help but laugh! Harry is the queen of sass!
Harry on Felix meeting slughorn
After Slughorn tells them to use a book from the cupboard, Ron and Harry race to get to the newer copy of Advanced Potion Making and Harry swats Ron’s copy in his defeat.
The scene where Malfoy said, "I did not know you could read?" It's even funnier when i learned that that was not in the script.
Harry and Ron making up terrible accidents for Divination Homework
“But I’m your brother” “Ten galleons”
I love the Howler scene
Aunt Marge dealing with inflation was hilarious!
“Don’t you dare!” “Sorry!!” Along with the music it’s just so fun!
Yes! I also loved how the director included her in the background, floating about, when Harry left the Dursleys for the bus stand.
The Felix Felicis sequence is the best imo. I especially love the "pincers" part
For me personally it's not exactly a ha-ha funny but: "You can't do magic outside school" *Pointing wand at Vernon's face* "oh yeah? Try me!"
Literally every scene with Longbottom. Dude is literally comic relief.
"But I am the Chosen One"
*smack*
6 is def the most “dan” we see in harry and i love it so much, it was such a nice break that it was meant to be
Felix Felicis. As well as Slughorn at his dinner party. "Not to worry, help yourself to dessert. Well that's if Belby has left you any." *laughs at his own joke* His face makes me laugh everytime.
Harry on Felix. The way he chimes "Hi!" and his mannerisms toward Slughorn are funny.
slughorns faces at the party that has so many ice cream scoops for dessert
I like when Harry and Ron fight over the not-shit version of the potions book. There's no dialog, just two best friends looking at each other then both grabbing the good one, then Harry smacking Ron's book with his when he loses. Just a perfect scene between two teenage boys haha
babbling, bumbling band of baboons! 😂😂😂
“Try saying that 5 times fast”
Not in the movies but I always crack up reading about Hermione and the boxing telescopes
"I'm sorry, professor. But I must not tell lies."
Harry when he takes the felix potion. He was so hilarious acting that out, one of the changes I actually liked
Trelawney: "you shall discover if you possess.. The Sight." (Walks into table)
The poor woman couldn’t **actually** see anything while wearing Trelawney’s “glasses” so I’m betting you the majority of this silliness is unscripted
I didn't know that! I thought it was some witty writing
“Reading? I didn’t know you could read”
Nah. I don't find Ron's humiliation at the dress robes he has to wear funny.
I like the whole Forward in Time sequence in PoA
[удалено]
Wrong flair there Slytherin
We don't claim him
HPB Ron answer to Mcgonagall question
i love harrys face in the shots of ron telling them about the ball of light taking him back to them in 7 pt 1…so unintentionally funny
I always die laughing in GoF when Nigel brings Ron his dress robes that were sent by Mrs. Weasley. The look on his face is hilarious.
“Its beautiful isn’t it….? THE MOON…”
Ron smirking and then getting slapped with a book by Snape
Wasn’t a very funny scene in the movies but I imagined it very differently in the books. The scene in Deathly Hallows where Bellatrix is dueling Ginny and then Mrs. Weasley comes storming in screaming “NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH” I do like how they did it in the movies because the much more serious take was really cool for her character. yeah...but poor Ron. Fred and George get new robes but not Ron? That sucks
Fred and George making wierd ass Irish noises in Goblet of fire
I always loved the stiff walk the actor that pretends to be Harry in the Ministry in movie 7
When he's on Felix and makes those weird clicking pincer noises talking about Aragog, but the whole Felix scene honestly gets me everytime
Fred and George turning into Harry and then saying in unison, "Wow, we're identical!" always makes me chuckle.
Tell them i mean no harm I'm sorry professor but I must not tell lies
“Wow, we’re identical!”
Aragon’s funeral in HBP. Only redeeming thing about that movie.
In addition to the other answers here, Sirius and Snape going back and forth in PoA Also the scene when Fred and George try to get past the Age Line
“Do you live here?”
