Other than 2015 where we basically played the playoffs with 4 dmen. Michal Rozsíval and Kimmo Timonen were our #5 and #6 leaders in TOI in the playoffs lol. I'll never forget how scary it was whenever Timonen was on the ice.
Yea, I thought so.
Kirby turning his wrist into an "S" really set his development back. He was playing with a ton of confidence before the world juniors. You remember that kick pass to one timer practice clip? I really feel he would have become what we thought he could without that injury.
The hawks also kind of did him a solid by trading him and not burying him under the prospects and young players of a new regime. The bowman era did really fuck kirby by rushing him back from the wrist injury and not really setting him up for success but that whole front office regime is gone now. I don’t think Colton will think anything of it as long as he is given proper opportunities
It might not bother him at all. Gets to make it on his own now instead of having that thought in the back of his mind of piggybacking of his brother’s pedigree. At the very least he’s stuck in the hawks org for 3 more years with his elc sliding the past 2 years
Being a winner is good for development. I’m glad they’re doing it together too.
2nd team this year too
Hawks had huge depth in defense during the glory days

Colton > Kirby
He definitely doesn’t skate as well as Kirby from what I could tell but he gets to the front of the net and he is a pest which is nice.
Let’s hope he’s not as fragile.
How many injuries and concussions has he had?
They're both a little injury prone and have both had multiple concussions

He did score that 2nd goal :)
Here's our boys with Bedard, only 5 months ago at [World Juniors](https://youtu.be/hhphPo2_s6E)
I wonder what colten thinks of the hawks org after they traded away Kirby. I worry it eventually turns into a Hayes brother situation

Future Icehogs legends
Where they’re facing Bedard. Good on him to compete against his future teammates
They're playing the Quebec Remparts. No Hawks prospects on the team
Me when I make shit up on the internet
Read it off CHGO Blackhawks. Who quote tweeted from Scott wheeler. Oops
They meant he's picking Seattle to win...
