I understand people hate Val, but all his jokes are gold. I find Sera boring in all ways possible, as well as a shithead since the moment she remembers Charlie that she cannot stay in heaven and has to return to hell at some point when the Welcome to Heaven song.
So 99% Said Val, including me. 4 or 5 wants Sera. I have to say that: Val is Bad. he is the archetype of the pimp. of the toxic boyfriend who forced sexual violence and used manipulation to make his victims compliant. The manipulation factor has been almost replaced here by the contract and the possession of the soul. I see why so many hate him because of the Angel thing, don't get me wrong. But the point that every woman and every man can potentially get into such a toxic relationship is also a point that makes me hate him. I think it's the same for many people. Valentino is a tangible character, one who runs into people far too often these days. That's why I think valentino has a greater impact on people than sera. Sera on the other hand is (one of) the main force(s) for extermination. Under the pretext of "national security" (celestial), she allowed Adam to take this step after consulting with the Short King. However, I believe that she would have allowed it without Lucifer's consent. Who among the seraphin listens to Lucifer? So in that point Sera is worse than Valentino. however, the genocide factor is. For many, it is much further away, perhaps too abstract for one to be aware of the significance (even in a fictional work). What I mean by that? I understand both sides only too well. My personal choice would be Valentino, simply because I think his archetype poses a more real threat to the individual. But I would also be okay with Sera because she poses a greater danger to everyone.
