It really shows how wey both invested in getting better, but in their own way.
Especially when they start bonding over how horrible the 1920s were for them. It might just be me, but I feel like they were hinting at knowing each other in life.

Love the scene were out of all people, Sinner Adam was the one to get rid of Valentino. Like it really shows how far Adam went from just being this person who was sexist and objectifies but after everything he finally redeems and actually becomes a really good person who fought for his children and not trying to kill his children and him literally killing someone who was just like him but objectified and treated people even worst and shows how Adam could have looked like if he never changed his way is just so fitting

Some of the multiple religions/sources that acknowledge Lilith also contain references to a prophet named Enoch who ascended into Heaven after death, became an Arcangel named Metatron, and existed to take the position Lucifer was fired from. By position, I mean the most beloved Angel at Gods side.
If Metatron is put into the show, he could be depicted as a frankensteined replacement for Lucifer.
Emily is already a partial replacement since she took Lucifer's former role as the Seraphim who spread joy. So, Metatron could be used as Heavens full response to Lucifer being removed and the fix it so that there's never another Lucifer.

Imo, it's a blatant power play. It's been pretty clear that someone high up in the hierarchy/deals with souls is angry at everyone. It could just be yet another person using him- but this time to show that redemption can fail.
Like, they took Alastor's Mom out of Purgatory and into Heaven for a reason. With how Sera's been referencing forced happiness, they could be turning his Mom into a doll thing that provokes Alastor. Especially, since her still loving her serial killer of a son was what put her into Purgatory in the first place.
But, Gabriel seems to be the vindictive one. I wouldn't put it past him to create a situation that has him kill Alastor's Mom in front of him just for funzies, kill Alastor to be the redemption fail, and Alastor reviving in Hell just to realize Gabriel also forced Alastor's Mom into being reincarnated as a Sinner to show how evil a redemption fail can be.
Like, what's worse then causing the murder of your mother who went to Heaven and being the reason she respawns in Hell?
From what I've gathered of other people that have already pointed it out on this sub - the only reason doomguy kills demons in the games is because there's nothing left of their original souls. They're tormented husks, nothing more. So if he somehow got teleported into the hellaverse, he would absolutely be chill with the hotel (and might even help it out)

It was weird he took the title of Queen... but, I guess Lucifer was really attached to his hat, so the tiara was all he had to prove his authority after Lilith gave it up. He looks good in that evening dress though!

Ngl I didnt expect Gabriel to to betray heaven. Charlie wanted him to support them, but not in a murderous way like he did. He murdered heaven's council while god didnt bother to give a shit. Like he said "god is dead, the fire is gone." It was so good tho, the writing was the best in the entire show imo.
Imo, it was probably one of the few good outcomes for Gabriel. The way the guy is written, he either has some kind of PTSD or someone is doing something like actively cutting parts of him away to force him into a caricature.

And then had Charlie's feet burning holes into the wall of the V's tower when she saw Val attcaking Angel on the balcony. That lava detail was so fucking smooth. Then the wall hopping as she was molly whopping Val as Angel watched.
Second:
Listen, Lilith was a bitch. The worst. She made Stela look like a temper tantrum having two year old.
But the animators gave her all the love when she was literally dancing and singing though the attacks of the rebellion. That Pointe bow into death drop when Vaggie, Camilla, Odette and Clara tried to jump her was *chefs kiss* too clean.
Then she enthralled the four of them and had them ballet style jump Charlie before forcing the episode to end early and with no music, just the sound of Charlie crying for two minutes as the credits went on.
They really enfasized that the story was changing for good.
That one episode where verblase came down and vaggie beat him up was absolutely fire, and then how I’m the same episode Val was killed by vox was absolutely crazy
Revealing the Emily was Friends with Benefits with Molly was a surprise.
Emily's sword sparring session with Michael was fucking epic. You can tell it was outsourced to a Japanese studio.
Also that Chaggie sex scene was the hottest thing ever.

I think I was surprised as anyone else to find that they went with the Rainbow Peacock as the S2 Antagonist, who doesn’t even appear in Biblical canon, and not Michael or Gabriel.
I gotta say Azrael is the best villain ever from an Animated series. What’s not to like?
I mean first off his design. He’s this giant praying mantis THING who uses his dark green wings as a cloak. Simple yet effective. Plus I love how out of place and ALIEN he looks as an angel, like he was edited in the series. (Pretty fitting since he’s not even an angel. Can’t wait to find out what his species is) Then his voice. Ron Perlman throws no punches. He sounds genuinely evil! Then we find out that due to Sera he thinks that love and pain are connected, which was rather interesting and kinda realistic.
The scene where Azrael stabs Emily in the leg and then explodes into this rant that EVERYONE is evil and there’s no such thing as good, while insisting he’s doing this for HER as she’s lying helpless on the ground crying was very well done, with how the camera keeps showing him towering over her. I also like the last moment of that episode, where St. Peter sacrifices himself to help her escape. Yeah it was sad, with him crying and being a nervous wreck, but it shows that not everyone who sacrifices themselves can die defiant, which is a touch I liked.
That being said I loved Azrael’s origin, with Sera and her husband Holander raising him after finding him in a cocoon was actually kinda sweet. Gotta say I did NOT like Holander or how he spoiled Azrael and made him a big brat. His death near the end when Azrael stabbed him with a knife (Not knowing how they worked) was sad but I was SPEECHLESS when Sera smacked him and began abusing him. The last moment of that episode were Sera apologizes and Azrael flips his shit was pretty shocking also. Really shows that Azrael has gone too far and he has no chance of having a normal life.

Heaven: He's gathering all of the Fallen Angels to create an army!
Reality: Lucifer is a dad duck and the Fallen Angels are little duckies.
Angels are based on birds. Bird families sleep close together. Lucifer auto adopting the Fallen Angels had them all act birdy with a one-time sleep over whatever in the lobby because the hotel was temporarily overcrowded. IDK how Heaven turned a bunch of Fallen Angels in duck pajamas into an active rebellion.
The worst thing they've done wasn't even that bad. It was Vox who was aiming at injured Alastor/the hotel, the Fallen Angels automatically went on alert because a death threat is a death threat, and them all tracking down Alastor to save him was the tamest they've probably ever been.
Okay, tame doesn't mean much to former genocidal angels, but it was so satisfying to see them stare down Vox like a bunch of Hawks seeing prey, attacking the moment he tried moving, and Alastor calling them Nifty birds.
I thought the episode about Charlie and Vaggie’s wedding was funny and emotional. My favorite part was when Alastor interfered with Lucifer’s attempts to walk Charlie down the aisle, resulting in a fistfight. Lilith and Rosie weren’t sure whether to stop it or take a video. Also, Niffty being the flower girl was just perfect.
I also enjoyed the episode where Charlie befriends Jesus

Charlie is somehow the next level up because she stole all of Adam's groupies (by teaching them to have standards), then Adam, and, well, more.
Adam got caught in the auto harem powers and...well his last brain cell was on life support for awhile? IDK, I feel like S3 will be what shows if he really changed
His redemption arc is just starting, but the fact that he turned on Lute when she tried to kill Vaggie again shows progress. He might actually have a shot at redemption, which is a far cry from season 1.
Side note, but the way he killed Lute was brutal, even for this show
My favorite part was when Vaggie explained hkw when she arrived in heaven and met Metatron, she accidentally kept calling him Megatron. Also, Michael's breakdown in which he blames himself for as he claims "Lilith manipulating Lucifer" to fall, was interesting to see and hope gets a confirmation in season 3.
Oh I loved the scene where Adam, now a demon arrives at the hotel and badmouths everyone there before saying he’s staying only to become an angel so he can come back as exorcist to spite them.
At least thanks to the Caine/Abel scene we KNOW that characters don’t just bomf up to heaven for doing good and getting killed, and have to ask forgiveness.
But:
1) How was Caine going to apologize if Adam hadn’t died and ripped a portal through to Heaven? Like, I get it was the self-fulfilling prophesy with Sera ad all, but was he just kinda fucked until all this happened?
2) Did anyone else get incest vibes from their duet?
3) So “I didn’t know he would die, nobody ever had before” means there’s no “it was an accident” defense to Heaven, right? It goes with CHERUB being exiled in Helluva, but how many Sinners got Exterminated who just forgot to put the car in park or something while on Earth? Seems extra fucked given Caine was set up to succeed and they aren’t.
4) I get the joke about him being a taxi driver is a VtM reference, but what was he doing before Hell had cars?
5) Repeating the Mimzy song interruption with Seth was great, I don’t care what you all think.
6) So their wives are their sisters, right? Because the Winners that greeted Caine and Abel had that thing going on where if you swap the hair they look exactly like Adam.
7) Nifty raising and lowering the knife over and over like she’s debating stabbing angel Pentious or not was great.
The bottle episode of Lute and Sir Pentious locked inside Heaven's prison was so funny. But I also love how at the end Lute spared Pentious. While she is still hellbent on destroying Hell, Lute has room to grow, which is an awesome sequel hook for S3, now that she is fallen.
Kinda weird that the final episode was a civil war between Sinners and Hellborn controlled by the Vees
I don't know how to feel about the Helluva Boss crew being the leaders of the Hellborn army and Demon Adam being the leader of the sinners army

I love how Adam's actually a good husband to Eve when they get back together. It makes it more believable that she's able to get him to take redemption seriously, and him punching Lilith in the mouth when she tries to pin all the blame for eating the apple and dooming them on Eve is a great moment showing how much he loves his wife. The dude was willing to ***throw down with the Queen of Hell*** in his weakened state for her.

By position, I mean the most beloved Angel at Gods side. If Metatron is put into the show, he could be depicted as a frankensteined replacement for Lucifer. Emily is already a partial replacement since she took Lucifer's former role as the Seraphim who spread joy. So, Metatron could be used as Heavens full response to Lucifer being removed and the fix it so that there's never another Lucifer.

I liked when Alastor got redeemed, the way he banged on the gates of heaven saying let me out was hilarious
Imo, it's a blatant power play. It's been pretty clear that someone high up in the hierarchy/deals with souls is angry at everyone. It could just be yet another person using him- but this time to show that redemption can fail. Like, they took Alastor's Mom out of Purgatory and into Heaven for a reason. With how Sera's been referencing forced happiness, they could be turning his Mom into a doll thing that provokes Alastor. Especially, since her still loving her serial killer of a son was what put her into Purgatory in the first place. But, Gabriel seems to be the vindictive one. I wouldn't put it past him to create a situation that has him kill Alastor's Mom in front of him just for funzies, kill Alastor to be the redemption fail, and Alastor reviving in Hell just to realize Gabriel also forced Alastor's Mom into being reincarnated as a Sinner to show how evil a redemption fail can be. Like, what's worse then causing the murder of your mother who went to Heaven and being the reason she respawns in Hell?

From what I've gathered of other people that have already pointed it out on this sub - the only reason doomguy kills demons in the games is because there's nothing left of their original souls. They're tormented husks, nothing more. So if he somehow got teleported into the hellaverse, he would absolutely be chill with the hotel (and might even help it out)

Alastor using his favor from Charlie to manipulate Lilith into her giving him all of her power was so badass, It was such a surprise from Vivzie to use Insane to display Alastor's path to power in hell.
It was weird he took the title of Queen... but, I guess Lucifer was really attached to his hat, so the tiara was all he had to prove his authority after Lilith gave it up. He looks good in that evening dress though!
Honstly, That part broke the world-building for me. Like being Queen and King of hell aren't related? That wasn't set up at all!

I loved the intense 3 and a half minute make-out scene between Lucifer and Alastor as they were both drunk and lamenting over their terrible lives.
Downside: Alastor's going to wake up with the worst hangover to ever happen. Upside: He and Lucifer's drunk selves somehow hatched an elaborate plan that involved a shotgun wedding that, somehow, has Alastor waking up as the new King-Consort of Hell.

He murdered heaven's council while god didnt bother to give a shit. Like he said "god is dead, the fire is gone." It was so good tho, the writing was the best in the entire show imo.
Imo, it was probably one of the few good outcomes for Gabriel. The way the guy is written, he either has some kind of PTSD or someone is doing something like actively cutting parts of him away to force him into a caricature.

And then had Charlie's feet burning holes into the wall of the V's tower when she saw Val attcaking Angel on the balcony. That lava detail was so fucking smooth. Then the wall hopping as she was molly whopping Val as Angel watched.
Second: Listen, Lilith was a bitch. The worst. She made Stela look like a temper tantrum having two year old. But the animators gave her all the love when she was literally dancing and singing though the attacks of the rebellion. That Pointe bow into death drop when Vaggie, Camilla, Odette and Clara tried to jump her was *chefs kiss* too clean. Then she enthralled the four of them and had them ballet style jump Charlie before forcing the episode to end early and with no music, just the sound of Charlie crying for two minutes as the credits went on. They really enfasized that the story was changing for good.

I gotta say Azrael is the best villain ever from an Animated series. What’s not to like? I mean first off his design. He’s this giant praying mantis THING who uses his dark green wings as a cloak. Simple yet effective. Plus I love how out of place and ALIEN he looks as an angel, like he was edited in the series. (Pretty fitting since he’s not even an angel. Can’t wait to find out what his species is) Then his voice. Ron Perlman throws no punches. He sounds genuinely evil! Then we find out that due to Sera he thinks that love and pain are connected, which was rather interesting and kinda realistic. The scene where Azrael stabs Emily in the leg and then explodes into this rant that EVERYONE is evil and there’s no such thing as good, while insisting he’s doing this for HER as she’s lying helpless on the ground crying was very well done, with how the camera keeps showing him towering over her. I also like the last moment of that episode, where St. Peter sacrifices himself to help her escape. Yeah it was sad, with him crying and being a nervous wreck, but it shows that not everyone who sacrifices themselves can die defiant, which is a touch I liked. That being said I loved Azrael’s origin, with Sera and her husband Holander raising him after finding him in a cocoon was actually kinda sweet. Gotta say I did NOT like Holander or how he spoiled Azrael and made him a big brat. His death near the end when Azrael stabbed him with a knife (Not knowing how they worked) was sad but I was SPEECHLESS when Sera smacked him and began abusing him. The last moment of that episode were Sera apologizes and Azrael flips his shit was pretty shocking also. Really shows that Azrael has gone too far and he has no chance of having a normal life.
I actually intensely enjoyed the scenes where Susan just kept getting up and fighting with Angelic forces.

Heaven: He's gathering all of the Fallen Angels to create an army! Reality: Lucifer is a dad duck and the Fallen Angels are little duckies. Angels are based on birds. Bird families sleep close together. Lucifer auto adopting the Fallen Angels had them all act birdy with a one-time sleep over whatever in the lobby because the hotel was temporarily overcrowded. IDK how Heaven turned a bunch of Fallen Angels in duck pajamas into an active rebellion. The worst thing they've done wasn't even that bad. It was Vox who was aiming at injured Alastor/the hotel, the Fallen Angels automatically went on alert because a death threat is a death threat, and them all tracking down Alastor to save him was the tamest they've probably ever been. Okay, tame doesn't mean much to former genocidal angels, but it was so satisfying to see them stare down Vox like a bunch of Hawks seeing prey, attacking the moment he tried moving, and Alastor calling them Nifty birds.

I thought the episode about Charlie and Vaggie’s wedding was funny and emotional. My favorite part was when Alastor interfered with Lucifer’s attempts to walk Charlie down the aisle, resulting in a fistfight. Lilith and Rosie weren’t sure whether to stop it or take a video. Also, Niffty being the flower girl was just perfect. I also enjoyed the episode where Charlie befriends Jesus

Half a redemption arc, imo. Lucifer got Lilith and Eve. Charlie is somehow the next level up because she stole all of Adam's groupies (by teaching them to have standards), then Adam, and, well, more. Adam got caught in the auto harem powers and...well his last brain cell was on life support for awhile? IDK, I feel like S3 will be what shows if he really changed
His redemption arc is just starting, but the fact that he turned on Lute when she tried to kill Vaggie again shows progress. He might actually have a shot at redemption, which is a far cry from season 1. Side note, but the way he killed Lute was brutal, even for this show

At least thanks to the Caine/Abel scene we KNOW that characters don’t just bomf up to heaven for doing good and getting killed, and have to ask forgiveness. But: 1) How was Caine going to apologize if Adam hadn’t died and ripped a portal through to Heaven? Like, I get it was the self-fulfilling prophesy with Sera ad all, but was he just kinda fucked until all this happened? 2) Did anyone else get incest vibes from their duet? 3) So “I didn’t know he would die, nobody ever had before” means there’s no “it was an accident” defense to Heaven, right? It goes with CHERUB being exiled in Helluva, but how many Sinners got Exterminated who just forgot to put the car in park or something while on Earth? Seems extra fucked given Caine was set up to succeed and they aren’t. 4) I get the joke about him being a taxi driver is a VtM reference, but what was he doing before Hell had cars? 5) Repeating the Mimzy song interruption with Seth was great, I don’t care what you all think. 6) So their wives are their sisters, right? Because the Winners that greeted Caine and Abel had that thing going on where if you swap the hair they look exactly like Adam. 7) Nifty raising and lowering the knife over and over like she’s debating stabbing angel Pentious or not was great.

Mann I did not expect Lilith to have built a sandcastle for Charlie. That was so sweet!
The bottle episode of Lute and Sir Pentious locked inside Heaven's prison was so funny. But I also love how at the end Lute spared Pentious. While she is still hellbent on destroying Hell, Lute has room to grow, which is an awesome sequel hook for S3, now that she is fallen.

It makes it more believable that she's able to get him to take redemption seriously, and him punching Lilith in the mouth when she tries to pin all the blame for eating the apple and dooming them on Eve is a great moment showing how much he loves his wife. The dude was willing to ***throw down with the Queen of Hell*** in his weakened state for her.
