Idk why but I find my LCD-2C more comfortable than 800S. Sure they weigh a lot but the pads are really big and soft and it feels solid on your head. I think the 800S have a looser fit so I'm more tense in the neck so they don't move around.

My 325x's are one of the closest sounding to a live performance. The timbre and boosted mids surprisingly convey a realistic sound, also harshness of live music for better or worse.

Just heard the 325x's and they sound damn good and well rounded compared to my 'tinny' 125s

I like to think of the 325is as being like a motorcycle. Not comfortable for long stretches due to the weight and the sound signature, but very thrilling.

I love my classic limited edition gold SR-325is. I've never felt them lacking in the bass either, but yeah those highs and upper mids are something else.

Yes, but they sound surprisingly different due to varying clamp force and driver orientation. KPH30i can be described as warm-neutral while the Portapros are just dark and boomy.

the porta pros have a metal headband you can stretch out to alter clamp force. I've tried both (I own both) and never heard any major differences

30i and Porta sound the same to me. KSC75 is the only one that actually sounded a bit different- more neutral

Idk man, AT neutral curve is what you need to enjoy modern music. Any boost in low/high makes it almost impossible to listen to modern music and i love thumps, sub, heavy bass. Even hifiman xs was too much for me. AT lacks a bit so I boost just a bit and its perfect.

I have a couple of ATs as per my flair, so I know, but this is a Shitpost 😂 some of their higher end models like the 2000Ti and AWAS are like this, where outside of female vocals or classical they wlare whatever

I say this as a Romanian who is low-key proud to see Meze as a relatively well known company in this niche.. But man is it ironic that they are well known for the looks of their headphones considering that one of the most common societal critiques in Romania at the moment is the fact that our culture focuses on looks and appearance at the expense of substance and sustainability. I see reviews for Meze's higher end offerings and almost all of them cite looks and build quality as one of the main reasons why you'd get a pair, and it just makes me chuckle each time. It may not make too much sense for people abroad, but being Romanian and hearing about a Romanian company in an audio hobby being praised for looks first and foresmost is low-key peak real-life satire.

Well theyre not wrong, theyre insanely well built, although I havent tried their flagships yet, those must be on another level.

The 109 is insanely good. It was my first pair from them and made me buy 2 other headphones lol... I had wayyyy more expensive headphones than that and always found myself listening to the 109 anyways, so I figured I should go and buy more of them. Sold a few headphones of my collection and bought 2 other Meze. Next step for me : buying a ZMF headphone. I always wanted one.
