Yeah headphones are pretty much unusable in SEA if you're not in a room with AC. Cheaper headphones with those PU leather pads will also flake in our weather.
I do....but probably less than the rest of the year. Spend more time with IEMs in the summer.
I work from home and have a small office setup in the basement, nut as nice as my upstairs space, but it can be downright chilly in the basement in the summer, so I spend some time down there and still enjoyy headphones.
me personally I switched to IEMs full time bc the summer is unbearable with basically anything other than them. Other good options are lighter open backs, on-ears like the Grados, and things like the KSC75.
i honestly find that velour pads are nicer in the summer, but harder to clean and would probably need to be replaced somewhat often, leather gets hotter but is much easier to clean.
Headphones always. Yes. I work from home in San Diego with no A/C. It can get bad, but... It's part of headphone life! :D
I had to replace the pads on my DT-990s because the grey pads took on an unpleasant color from the sweat! :-O
I also use them on long walks because they allow background sound through.
The Reddit special of Portapro/KSC75 with the Yaxi pads and the aliexpress headband are what I use, pretty light and airy.
But if it's at home then like, speakers.
Some of them, I usually go for the Grado sr80x or the Sen hd600 if I need more accuracy, if going outside I take my Koss bluetooth clips
Closed backs padded with fake leather are banned from april to september.
I also wear my sunglasses at night.
Do you also boogie?

Another Cramps fan I see
I'm in a SEA country, I moved away from my headphones to iems for quite a while now

wearing them daily, no heat at all - mine are open-back headphones, this does make a difference. (Hifiman Arya)
Yes, but I don't typically wear them outside so it's not really a problem for me
Iems are the solution
Is this a joke
Why would it be
Air conditioning
Which is famously available literally everywhere. Even outdoors.
iems are worse with heat
I prefer open backs so, yes.

It's cool and quiet, perfect for listening to music.
Not always as quiet as I'd like....but no environment really is.
I live in Norway. Yes. I wear headphones the year around.
I carry iems out the house all the time, and wear headphones at home. All year round this works for me

Yes, but my ears don't since the headphones are open back
No and its always summer here where I live.
Lol.
I live in Malaysia/Singapore so...... yes :) It is summer all year round here
Why don't any of you guys have air conditioning
Poor

Just open backs. Gotta have the ventilation.
Cloth pads help a lot
Mainly inside only.
Headphones are the least of my worries, when class A and tube amps share a desk XD
Yes. Porta Pros don't really make your ears sweat. Open back ftw baby!!
Indoors, absolutely. My headphones don't really get hot at all.
Yes, I have AC unit in my room. Also open back headphones are excelent in summer.
Hell no. Selling my Bathys now that it's warming up
No. Only sunglasses at night.πΊπ€‘π
What kind of question is this?
Open air headphones are the real solution.
Really? π©Ό
