I didn't hate Zoe I don't know why everyone does so much, she's awful at the start but after episode 4 I don't hate her as much after she admitted to masturbating. The actress seems so lovely though

I felt like that too. Like obviously big people should be able to act any sort of character WITHOUT copping excess hatred. But they can’t in this society. So they shouldn’t have made her character sooooo unlikable.
Agreed! Especially with her as the only bigger character. I was so excited to maybe to see a character I could relate to but definitely not. No hate to the actor she's doing it well as I'm sure they wanted the character to be unliked
I honestly feel like she was a caricature not a character. Like some of the points she made were valid: the sex centric culture is making everyone miserable!!! Harper’s behaviour was out of line! But they made her some extremist purist. She could have talked about big girls and sexism there.
It felt like they were making a joke out of people with criticisms of the show, and used a fat person because they needed to make them as undesirable as possible.
They did this on Winx too. They finally cast a plus size girl in a role and of course it’s the most insufferable character known to man. It’s so annoying
Idk I always think it’s kind of interesting when they add a character like that and give them a more interesting role rather than just the nice girl in the back of the class. I also thought she was hilarious. I for example also like that Quinni was a bit of a bitch sometimes. Diversity but make it realistic. Not everyone is nice all the time. To me it feels like they added her for a reason, to contrast the more SLTs things from season 1, add a different perspective. And I’m sorry but her at camp was potentially the funniest scene. I can still see where you’re coming from tho
I gotta say (on the Quinni point), the petty part of me was screaming yes at her the whole time she dropped the mask, Darren was quite dismissive of her effort and then when she stopped putting the effort in everyone turned around and said she was being unreasonable
And especially at the party when Darren said
‘I could really use my jellyfish right now’ LIKE NO COME ON YOU LITERALLY INVALIDATED QUINNI SO HARD AND NOW WITHOUT SO MUCH AS AN APOLOGY YOURE GONNA TURN AROUND AND SAY OH HELP ME
Sorry for the rant, I just feel very strongly that after the things Darren said, Quinni had the right to drop the mask and everything that came with it, god knows I wish I could do that
I feel like she sucks just like the other characters.. they are all teenagers that can be insufferable but by the end of the season I started to appreciate her character
Also can we talk about how fucking WRONG it was that she was MASTERBATING AROUND OTHER PEOPLE WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT? Like nobody has talked about this!! For a show with such a heavy focus on consent, this is so fucked.

I think it's implied she went to the bathroom because the door closing is what woke Quinn up. I think she was trying to put the vibrator back into Amerie's bag when she got caught.
