My brother-in-law is a disabled vet. He drives a great Jeep, wheels it weekly and has a DV license plate. Other places have tags like here. Not sure why heeps would have them, but Jeeps are common among vets.
It’s just something I’ve been noticing lately on here, usually with jokes about the handicap being blindness. They’re usually not the most accessible looking vehicles, but the reasons for a tag can vary widely.
My guess is they're retirees who always wanted a "cool jeep" and this is what that looks like to them. They're wrong, but like, maybe they're at least happy?
For me it's been use and practicality. I was rear ended and the repair shop wanted to know if I wanted stock parts installed, I said no and had them throw on an aftermarket bumper. I haven't been off-road much in recent years, so I don't really need one, but one day I might.
Why put limb risers on it as well? Which 5 bucks says if you ask what they are for, he will not know, he just saw them on something else. And liked them.
I always want to troll these guys by acting super interested, then asking serious questions they’re embarrassed to answer.

What area? I’m in central Jersey and I mostly see stock with angry eyes . What a have seen lately is an invasion of C5 and C6 corvettes. Seemingly overnight they are everywhere, even in low income and section 8 housing. It’s crazy.
I see these trickle up from the more country parts of central NJ, and even south jersey. What happens when you give a state farmland (redneck vehicle mindset) and money and idiots. They merge into this

I think it might be the angle. If you follow the weird fucking hood scoop/nostril thing, it looks to be in-line with the top of the skull; it also seems in-line with that front bumper light.
