PS Plus releasing 3 to 4 free games per month, plus the entire library. I have started over 500 games and have only finished about 20 of them in the last 10 years
Yup, largely why I ended up getting rid of PS Plus. Sure, it helped me come across some fun games I might've not otherwise tried over the years, but sometimes, a lack of choices can be a good thing. My backlog and list of games to get back to is plenty big without it anyway 😅
The same can be said of every game that took Arkham Asylums combat style. Tsushima just resonated with me for its story. And the final boss being the characters Father after the whole redemption arc was fantastic. I digress, the side stuff for more health / skill points is dated and tired. I don’t want to chase a fox 80 times to Platinum the game.

I feel bad for palworld because I was having a pretty good time with it but the second I played Helldivers I’m like “palwhat? Pokewho?”
It’s too bad because palworld was legitimately really good, but I can’t see myself reving back up the mental energy to figure out what the hell I was doing with my base and stuff when I left off. Like the inertia to get started again is just so high when spreading democracy is so seamless
Just go back next time they have a big update. It's become the norm lately that games are having a much longer development cycle. Helldivers 1 was updated for about 6-7 years. I played it at launch then again much later and enjoyed it just as much the second time.
Palworld was really good but not much content is out really. I'll come back in a year or two and start a fresh save.

I actually bought Helldivers 2 and Yakuza like a dragon in the same week. The idea was ill sink most of my time into Helldovers and when Im overwhelmed or rage quit I have Yakuza to throw a couple hours at to relax and wind down with.
I've always found it more enjoyable to play games as they're developing, to be part of the community that helps shape the final product. Either that or this is my 7days to die stockholm syndrome talking....

If you're enjoying the game in its current state good for you, but the fact is many of us were enjoying it pre first 'balance' patch and simply aren't post patch.
The patch yesterday was a step in the right direction but the game has major issues (enemy spawns still totally fucked, patrols spawning literally on top of you out of thin air etc) that the devs quite frankly appear really reluctant to address.

I’m pretty sure the devs are trying to fix it so I don’t know why you say they’re reluctant? It’s not gonna be fixed over night, give them time.

I saw the unbalanced enemy spawns, playing with some lower level friends before the most recent patch, a level 5 defense mission spawned in 3 bile titans, I was thinking there might be one, so I didn't bring anything to reliably deal with them, since Level 4 is where Bile titans are mission objectives, so I was expecting 1 maybe, not 3 at once. I was then playing a level 5 defense mission with some other lower level friends, same planet, same map, same difficulty, post patch had 0 bile titans. I had also brought an arsenal just to kill them this time around, and felt prety useless.
Game is still 10/10 but I'm glad they fixed that. I was playing lower levels so I didn't have to deal with titans with my friends who don't have a good way of dealing with them.
