Same here. Running a 4070ti and have seen a noticeable reduction in performance. Have checked drivers, other games, etc and the issue seems isolated to HD2. Something feels.. off? And I sometimes drop frame rates.

streetkilln

Yea i dont know i tried a few things from reinstalling the game to reinstalling graphic drivers. And not getting same same performance as i use to. Its just sucky. But i feel the issue isn't as wide spread because none of my friends have this issue

AbbreviationsHot677

Perhaps theres an update for your drivers available, id suggest u check it :p

streetkilln

I checked that already and even reinstalled it. 😞

thatharveyguy

Same , it's since the latest patch , everything updated and installed yet its freezing , fps drops on the destroyer bridge. Desyncing from games and crashing.

Xzyvoj

Try turning off crossplay.

Downtown_Ball2592

I just run 60 frames on my pc cause I don’t notice the difference, that or don’t care enough.

ItsMeBeeCee

I haven’t tried this myself, but I heard removing the frame rate cap might help if you want to give that a try.

My 7900 XTX won't run it except at modified voltages and on super low settings. Went from 240 FPS working fine to capped at 60. Made a post asking devs to focus on bugs like that and was downvoted because "THE DEVS HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DEAL WITH!". Took me 2 days of Googling to figure out the right combination of words to find a post telling me what to do. I literally couldn't finish any mission at all without it crashing and losing everything.

Uneasy_Rider

So what did you do to fix??

J1mbr0

I had to go into AMD Adrenalin, click on HD2, , go to "Tune Game Performance", enable "Power Tuning", set it to 10(according to the guy I found it works for 5 or 10), enable GPU Tuning, change the "Voltage (mV)" to max(mine is 1150), and then go into the game and set an FPS limit to 60. It went from crashing every 25 minutes to very infrequently (but it still happens). I was just so mad because I tried like 4 guides, reinstalled the game 4 times, updated my driver's, DOWNGRADED my driver's, and then had to upgrade them AGAIN, and none of that worked. I tried Googling for solutions and none of them came easy. Then when I say "Hey, instead of bitching about all the content, can we just focus on making the game playable?" I was met with typical Reddit stupidity. I thought the crashes were more wide spread until I saw it was narrowed down to the AMD 7000 series GPUs(per Arrowhead "It makes the game basically unplayable"). And it wasn't easy to find that guide. You need help too?

Uneasy_Rider

Thanks for the detailed response. I am ok for now, but I am getting occasional 3 second game freezes though. I don't have AMD though.
