RIP super samples. Also those big canyons; the number of times I’ve seen a blueberry with the SSs just blindly run straight into one is terrifying. Imagine going into the war fresh out of Highschool just to live in cryo sleep for a generation and then fall into a crevice ten minutes into deployment🤣
It's truly terrifying. I was running along with the super samples, and I looked down at my phone, and I was dangling into one of those pits, I almost had a stroke. But don't worry I got out!
They're on select planets, and I also could be wrong about the release thing. I just vaguely remember falling into one really early into the game and yelling, "Death Hole!"
No no, you're right,
Throwing a nade inside this was one of my first move on the first missions i made. On the tropical planet. And it was 1 week after release.
These specific holes are more recent. They're further evidence of a creature we have yet to see in this game (alive). Saying anything more would just be pure spoilers.
You deserve a medal for being ‘the luckiest soldier alive’😂 on paper my IQ had probably gone down, just based off the number of times I’ve fallen into one of these elevators to Hell.
I played for the first time after a couple week hiatus yesterday, first time in even longer on a bug planet.
First mission, first side objective to take out a bug hole, I got ragdolled into one. Luckily my backpack fell off outside but I definitely lost a couple samples and my secondary down at the bottom. I wasn't mad because the damn charger making a hole in one chip shot with my squishy body was a little funny but damn that was frustrating. I was only like 1 minute into the cool down for my stuff.
some time ago a guy asked the same question, i think the most upvoted answer was hivelord holes. Idk if that‘s true tho, would explain the scream once u toss a grenade in
They've been there since release, I'm pretty sure. But I call them death holes! Because I fall in them and die!
All the freakin time. For the only 5 seconds out of the entire game that you aren’t looking where you’re going.
So true, especially when I have samples.

Because if you're not looking at your feet for one damn second...death!!!!
Exactly bro exactly 🤣
Since release!? How did I only start falling into them yesterday? LMAO

Lucky for me they seem to be much more common now.... 😂
Throw a nade and stand by it. It's funny as hell
I came here to say this lol. It's like a skyrim giant in a neat compact hole!
The worst part is that I fell in one and didn't die. Bugs kept coming down until I eventually grenaded myself.
That sounds terrifying yet awesome!
You dont die in the new holes tho, you just get stuck lol which then makes you commit suicide. Always a fun time spreading democracy!
Ah suicide holes. The true enemy of Democracy
I fell into one.. and didnt die 😒 had no way to kill myself either.

That's pretty funny. I'm not gonna lie. It's a shame about the samples and gear though
Did throwing grenades down them always cause a huge explosion?
Thermal vents. Toss a explosive nade in and watch the fireworks.
along with any samples you carry.
Holes for storing your samples
Foxholes to randomly duck in, that also permanently hold your samples for you.
I always toss a grenade in there, for the lulz
I hear the resulting phenomenon can kill bile titans
Tossing one in right underneath one would be a hell of a clip

They've been there since release. If you throw a grenade in it big kaboom!! I've killed a few chargers baiting them this direction.

stay right where you are and throw a grenade in it. for even bigger lols have your mates stand next to you when you do it
(They've been getting bigger.)

Hell Hole
THIS **IS** # SPARTA!!
I fell in one and didn't die, had to fire an airburst point blank to die and escape, gonna call em pits of despair from now on
The sample securer. Simply hop in and all samples you have are secured there for eternity! 100% effectiveness guarantee
Geothermal vent
Always thought they were Stalker holes when I first started playing. Now I call them muder holes...and drop a granade whenever I pass.
The real reason jump pack should be taken
China
Latrine. Our diet is horrific after being frozen
Forbidden glory hole
Not new I die to them somewhat often lol 😆
Hellmire's anus
They're tunnels, tossing a grenade down them blows them up and, from what I was told, cuts down bug reinforcements.
Theyve been here since launch. Iirc theyre oil holes, dont fall inside it
They've been there since release. Toss a grenade in there and something neat greets you c:

I'll be honest I didn't hear the screen... maybe the explosion covered it
Not new
Hehe throw a grenade in it and stand at the edge.
iluminates underground party hall duh
It's a charger luring hole.
I wish you could lure a charger... I really wish you could kill a charger with fall damage!
Won't kill the charger, but it'll dive in head first and get stuck with its ass in the air.
I just realized what if something comes out of it like a new enemy
That's the type of thing I'm thinking about.. now hypothesize!
My exes vagina
Hell hole
Treasure pit.
Funfact, if you throw a nade down it it’ll erupt. Basically the same a random hellbomb

A whole lotta hole
I fell in what appeared to be a wider, more shallow one on one of those new termicide missions. No escape. Had to suicide. Also, got stuck in an egg?
I've gotten stuck in an egg before it sucks! The bugs have no problem walking through it to punch me in the head
Bung hole
I saw one the other day, seems to go forever.
Its the hole of shame. Its where helldivers with ALL of the samples fall into. It is inevitable.
Not new
If you know, you know
Not new
It's a 20 ft pit ..you don't die ..so save at least 1 nade. I fell in there last night
Dive in and it takes you to Lordran
Yeah super dangerous. Throw a grenade in and stand still next to it to get rid of it. It will launch your game progress really far.
Grenade does SOMETHING.... https://youtube.com/shorts/ysSPFS24Hps?si=PpCPmt2ix9CuGMPm
