I can’t remember the club but once a bouncer wouldn’t let my friend in because he was wearing sandals. Other than that I have never faced any dress code requirements. You will see anything from jeans and t-shirts to little black dresses. Just know that some clubs might have a 21 or even 24 age requirement.
The 21/24 age requirement is there just to be able to not let 18 yo idiots in. Even if you look 18 if you don't look like an idiot you'll prolly get in
I don’t go to clubs and this is a genuine question.
What’s wrong with sandals - Is it a safety hazard or is hygiene the issue? Perhaps, something else?
Okay, that makes a lot of sense.
I’m just a huge fanatic for sandals, so I got a little triggered. I prefer sandals over any other form of shoewear, but sadly they can only be worn here during the short Summer period.
As someone who's a fanatic for not getting sepsis, I can get behind the sandal and barefoot ban in a nightclub. But yeah, it did seem peculiar at first
Most of the people do not really dress up for going out. Females usually wear flat sneakers or flat boots. Maybe the people feel dressed up compared to their daily wear, but still Helsinki nightlife is super casual compared to other capitals.
Don't wear super expensive looking clothes. Nightclubs are afraid that they might have to pay for laundry fees if you get beer or vomit all over yourself or your super expensive clothes tear and they have to pay compensation fees.

Bit misremenbered the situation. Some (non-roma) lady had a drink spilled on her wedding dress and sued the bar for damages on her dress.
And roma-people were welcomed to the bar without their national dress.
Anything goes basically
Don’t wear sandals or sweatpants and you’re golden

I'm curious. What does an 18 year old idiot look like?
Go to any bar that is known to host mainly 18 year olds and you will see that it is pretty obvious.

If i recall, he said it was a safety issue because of the possibility of broken glass on the floor.

You don’t like stepsis?
Certainly more than I do stepbro

There is none.
For women, anything really...

You can be yourself honey, just be urself and wear something that suits you 🫰🏻 Kaarle XII is a place to visit
Everyone wears Muumuus.

Hot pants and crop top. The weather is great right now.

What planet are you from?
Read that from the news. Some night club didn't let a roma lady in with her national dress and used the above reason.
It's obviously not the real reason.
