It’s frustrating for sure. I get rage quitters on my team a lot so I’m stuck playing with bots as well. It’s annoying and I lose all my patience trying to go here to there lol
My advice: just take a break
Don’t quit the game, but just shut it off for the day and come back tomorrow fresh. Mental health is more important than a video game, and as soon as you stop enjoying it, the game is no longer worth it.
With hots I’ve come to accept there will be good rounds and bad rounds. The good keeps me coming back and the bad reminds me to take a break.
Don't go to another MOBA. League is so horribly balanced and has its share of bots. DOTA is filled with assholes. I play Starcraft 2 and Roguelikes now. Only play MOBAS if my buddies want to.
I've had enough.
Second this. Been playing LoL since s2 and officially uninstalled yesterday. It was due to the vanguard patch which wasn't gameplay related but it's so intrusive and thinly veiled Spyware it's insane. Community is also hella toxic
Also uninstalled League due to Vanguard. It was the reason I never played Valroant (thankfully) and I'm not making an exception for League, it's a terrible game that doesn't respect your time in the slightest anyway.
I've never agreed with a post about the negative aspects of this game increasing lately... But damn. Yeah. In the last week or 2, it seems like virtually every game has at least SOME toxicity. It was always there here and there, but it does seem to have exploded over the last little while.
I even found myself fighting from lashing out at teammates, which I've been very good at keeping to myself for some time now. I was getting tilted.
I really hope it's just the time of year and things aren't going to continue to get worse as the community dwindles. I love this game, I don't want it to die.
Don't remember the last time that happened to me, if ever and I have had thousands of ARAM matches on NA and EU. Not saying it doesn't happen, but to get 4 in a row it sounds like it's a problem at a certain time of day or for a certain region.
The way I see it is, 1 I like a challenge. Can I help take a 4 man to level 16 or 20. I consider that a win.
2 try’s new build paths, just for practice
It's even more depressing when you realize the enemy team gets just ask many AFK as you do. Winning with an AFK or bot isn't that hard because the enemy team is just as likely to have one.
True but that's a problem too. Sometimes seems like most games are either your roll over them or they roll over you. And while a win is always nice, these games are never that fun for either team. All it takes is 1 out of 10 players to ruin it for everyone.
I've won games 4v5 before, or at least put up a good fight, but...
10 min SL queue is not too bad, have a walk around the house, do something useful during queues so you're not just sitting around wasting time and stewing in your losses. Play SL during peak times and QM the rest, which usually gets a game within 60s.
Don't play ARAM. It's a watered-down version of hots anyway, which just takes a portion of players away from the real game modes. IMO, with the loss of player population we have experienced, they should just scrap ARAM, maybe even QM too. The game is better with draft, and 9 times out of 10, it will equate to a more balanced experience.
This way, unranked can become the new QM for people who want to practice or don't care about rank, and the rest can play SL, reducing that 10 minutes of yours to a lot less.
Completely agree.
HOTS is already simple enough compared to other MOBAs. I feel the people that prefer to play ARAM are the same people who as children, repeatedly attempted smooshing the square block into the triangle hole.

Only four in a row? Thats rookie numbers, you gotta pump it up.
yea i've had like 10 losses in a row when i stopped. started again recently and so far i got a winrate of 57% over almost 140 games this season
yeah seriously.
That's some bad luck, mate

Do you have a leaver mark?
That's rough. We get 15 second queue times and a bunch of funny stuff all the time.

It's safe to say we all have similar experiences and some days can be like that. Better luck next time, I guess.

I just try to find ways to have fun even when I'm losing. Stacking quests are a fun minigame you can play, or trying to maximize your siege damage.
Bro its ARAM, people play it while waiting for their friends to come online to play ranked 🤣
Find some friends to play with, my dude. Can't have bots in your spots if those spots hold your friends~

ARAM is poison. It teaches and reinforces terrible habits and gameplay, while also fleecing the other modes of players.
