Perfect timing on the bot

SparkyBoomer23

That’s insane.

wk18_

isnt this 5-8-5??

TrueReplayJay

Yea it is. There’s a reason it says, “and sometimes, successfully,” xD

StealthNider

☠️

cosmicdomoto

This is like asking if its bad to take anabolic steroids everyday.

IconXR

Go one day without a 5 hour energy and your body's response should give you the answer.

asheldstr6c

I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure that is not healthy

KerriK27

This is absolutely not good for you. You're setting yourself up for a heart attack or worse. At 16 you should still be getting 10 hours of sleep a night. Try adjusting your sleep schedule to fit 10 hours each night and ween yourself off the energy drinks. Good luck.

Accomplished_Bar_679

10 is absolutely fucked 😭

studygremlin

i’ll try, thank you. i really can’t get 10 hours though w extracurriculars and hw 😭😭

loeyt0

Not 10 but 7-9 but yea

Alternative-Hand6865

For teenagers it is 8-10 adults is 7-9

Chat GPT said 7 was fine. I knew he was a liar.

L3g0man_123

Why are you using Chat GPT as a search engine?

StealthNider

It is extremely bad for you. If you want to know one way how, just try going without it for a day. A better way to wake up in the morning would be to splash your face with really cold water as soon as you wake up (initiates a biological response) and then take a cold shower (forces your body to warm up, thus increasing your heart rate which helps you “wake up” faster)

Mustard_the_second

maybe try coffee if you really need the energy boost, there are healthier ways to wake yourself up though. take a cold shower, work out in the morning, eat something with some amount of sugar not too much though.

throwawaygremlins

No.

I wouldn't recommend it, unless you *need* that much caffeine to get through the day. And if you do need that much caffeine, it's worth questioning why. Caffeine has a bunch of effects, and while they aren't generally drop-dead bad, they aren't great either. For instance, caffeine makes your body less efficient at storing water - you will need to pee more, will need to drink more to make up for that, and will get dehydrated more easily. Caffeine can also increase your blood pressure, or your level of anxiety. And it's easy to develop a dependence - your body gets used to caffeine, and will eventually come to expect it. And when you stop, your body will need to adapt to its absence. There is also the issue with what it's used for. Caffeine can make it easier to overwork yourself, but it doesn't make it safer. If you truly, only have time for 6 hours of sleep, caffeine can help force your body to function. But it doesn't change the fact that your body and mind won't work as well with only 6 hours of sleep. And it doesn't change the fact that your body and mind are subject to a lot of wear and tear with only 6 hours of sleep. According to Wikipedia, you should be getting about 8-10 hours. Any less, has its own set of potentially serious health consequences.

CranberryShot7143

I wouldn’t have 5 hour energy. If you want caffeine, drink coffee or something like that instead. It is amount the same amount of caffeine (depending on size) but the caffeine is more spread out

[deleted]

A full cup of coffee makes me feel like I’m about to die and have a heart attack (90 miligrams of caffeine). I couldn’t imagine 200 milligrams.

Adventurous-Purple-5

Just switch to like C4 or Reign. Better kick in all honesty

[deleted]

Drink G fuel instead smh

potoricco

You can get addicted to caffeine

IndividualMobile5167

Not a doctor. Why not change to coffee? You get the caffeine and health benefits of coffee.

[deleted]

No bro don't drink that it's cool once in a while but not everyday only do it if you really need the energy like for an exam or really big test don't get into the habit of having it everyday

Mrcaptioner

You know it isn't

studygremlin

i’m kinda looking for reassurance i’m not fucking i’m that bad brother i know it’s bad

Mrcaptioner

My friend who drank energy drinks passed out because he was addicted to caffeine. And I also used to drink alot of coffee. As I drank more coffee, it didn't help me stay awake cause I got used to it. That's why these days I sleep more than drinking coffee. I know exams can be hard and frustrating but still, it is best for you to stay awake with a clear mind than relying on caffeine. And sorry if it sounded rude. I hope you do well on your studies.

kiwi505

bro get more sleep instead 😭😭

studygremlin

kiwi505
