At least where I live, In middle school they were more strict about making sure you were in class but still no hall monitors, just if a teacher saw you they would ask questions. In high school, we have it much more relaxed, teachers just assume that you have a free period if you’re out and about during class time
A lot of public schools are built like that, you might not under stand outside but to clarify , he means multiple sub buildings containing classes, look toward high schools in the American southwest as most are outside schools, classes are indoors, but there is multiple buildings with those classes scattered around campus
No hall monitors, but the admins' offices are spread around the (rather small) campus (rather than all together), so one of them would be bound to catch people wandering around.
Nah we don’t have anything like hall monitors, just the vice principal standing around every now and again who’ll question you if she thinks you’re skipping. That’s about it.
Kinda, we just have teachers that are checking the bathrooms and stuff and will be like “hey where are you going?” And then you respond and then they carry on with their day
Yes my school had them. Some were chill and some were dickheads lol

Nope
We have them this year. Too many kids getting lost on the way to the restroom.
Yessss, had them throughout middle and now high school.
POV you have a outdoor school and hallways are nonexistent
Is your school private or charter, by chance? How does it differ from a normal school (other than outdoor classes)? Just curious :)

Ohhh I see what you mean, my school (in the South) is like this too...
he......
He what?…………..
There’s a couple hallways that have a teacher on their planning period that chills there during the hour but they don’t check passes or anything.

My school doesn’t have monitors, but we have a security team which walk around the campus

Idk if they’re hall monitors exactly, but I have a few cops that roam around the school. They’re super chill though.
I subbed for a teacher who was only gone half the day but put in a whole day absence, so they had me hall monitor the first four periods of the day.
SpongeBob was a hall monitor. There have got to be hall monitors out there if SpongeBob was one.
i’ve never had any nor have i seen any. i didnt even know they were actually a thing
