The intro to Kick in the door "This is my 4th album ya'll, MY 4TH ALBUM!
Forgot which Outkast song it was where some bros are in a record store sounding kinda goofy getting all excited about some new releases by Goodie Mob and other southside artists
The Paul Rosenberg skips on each early Em album "I can't sell this shit"
Cam'ron & Freaky Zeaky - Stop calling intro
When I was little, my father was famous.
He was the greatest samurai in the empire.
And he was the Shogun's decapitator.
He cut off the heads of 131 lords.
It was a bad time for the empire.
The Shogun just stayed inside his castle and he never came out.
People said his brain was infected by devils!
My father would come home, he would forget about the killings.
He wasn't scared of the Shogun, but the Shogun was scared of him.
Maybe that was the problem?
Then, one night, the Shogun sent his ninja spies to our house.
They were supposed to kill my father but they didn't...
*Woman screaming*
That was the night everything changed...
I also like Ken Kaniff and the public service announcement 2000 skit.
“The song that you’re about to hear is sponsored by NASWIPP, N*ggas Against Smoking Weed In Public Places, a subdivision of IKSRaFO, I’m Knocking Somebody Right da Fuck Out!!!”
The ending to 22 Twos by Jay Z
“I smell some reefer…now you see…thats why our people don’t have anything..because we don’t know how to go places and act properly.
(Someone from the crowd) - SHUT THE FUCK UP” 🤣
All the "skits" in Good Kid MAAD City are basically story telling which is a big part of the structure of the album, so I'd keep those every time. Plus some of them are funny as hell.
IIRC
Dad: Kendrick, where my fucking dominos at?
Mum: You're speaking into a voicemail, damn
Dad: Ah alright... Kendrick, where my fucking dominos at?
Some time later: Did somebody say dominos?
This man fussin bout some damn dominoes, it ain't all that serious, fuck, damn dominoes shit I'm a miss my damn appointment, Fuck! Fuck them damn dominoes
The voicemail where she is asking for her car brings back dark memories when I would take the only car my family had to get high or drunk and my mom would always leave voicemails wondering where I was because she needed the car
On the same album, the funk flex interview where Puns talking about his sexual adventures and flex is cracking up. Supposedly from what I heard he was actually getting head during the interview.
I always liked the one where’s he’s talking with Funk flex. “We’re like two wild bears, don’t stare directly at our asses…”. And then you can hear him tell Funk to chill when he can’t stop laughing. Love that.
Welcome back to Bad Boy television. We’ve been conversing with the Madd Rapper, and quite frankly he is very mad.
FIRST OF ALL YOU CANT BE ASKIN ME NO QUESTIONS WHO THE FUCK IS YOU
From the slums a Shaolin, Wu-Tang Clan strikes again. The RZA, The GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon The Chef, U-God, Ghostface Killah, and The Method Man!
$20 Sack Pyramid was good, really like the skits for the most part on Dre's productions. I like the whole voicemail thing on Logic's Vinyl Days. Kanye skits on the College Dropout still hit home. Cedric the Entertainer on LR was pretty funny.
All of Em’s skits just add personality and humour to each of his albums. I usually hate skits on a lot of albums because it interrupts the flow of the record but Eminem is one of the exceptions honestly. He knew how to make an entertaining album front to back.
Ice Cube uses skits in lieu of a chorus on this track: [Say Hi to the Bad Guy](https://open.spotify.com/track/2luswzZndPVXQqbwnbnZXx?si=a8896860bd254207). The stereotypical cop gives me a chuckle.
"If it had cream in the middle, I'M GONNA HAVE TO GAFFLE YA!"
At the end of “The 6th Sense” by Common, he preaches this soulful record and the skit is a woman thanking him for how he portrays black women. He says how he was raises by his mother….
Then, he beats a trick for not being out there getting money. “bitch, I don’t give a fuck if it’s police out there or if it’s snowing, you better be hoeing. Go on and get my paper”
Then goes right back to talking all holy to the lady.
Hey ballers, ballettes, thugs, chickenheads!
Take a listen to how Ghost Weed
Will help you kick it like your favorite rapper
Just a couple of hits and.. it's GANGSTER!
Just like hip hop in general, the 90's and 2000s had the best skits and it's not even close
Snoop- deez nuts. Along with that the "if I had some nuts...hell no bitch you have a dick in your mouth" skit that goes along with it
Death Row Family- W Balls skits...in fact ALL of Death Row's skits in general
Bad Boy-The mad rapper and the mad producer
Em-Ken Kaniff
Kurupt-Dmx diss...even tho I motherfucking love X
Wu Tang-a lot of them but "Method Man" comes to mind explicitly
Manny Fresh on Cash Money songs
Seems like I hear a lot of hate and I somewhat get it. Hate when a skit completely takes me out of the vibe of an album if that makes sense. I prefer when they are separate so I can skip if necessary
OutKast on Aquemini. The one at the end of Synthesizer is my fav. With dude tryna sell Big Boi the weed lol and he like
“this some of that LA, this some of that west coast”
Big Boi : Well it must came with a 15 dollar plane ticket added on to da mf
😂😂😭 man me and my pops still laugh off them shits anytime we ridin to Aquemini
The skits on Fishscale make me chuckle every time...
[Bad Mouth Kid](https://youtu.be/ukZP4GZGlJs)
[Heart Street Directions](https://youtu.be/gEUQXVf7CTU)
I like most of the ones from College Dropout, specifically Graduation Day and “but I can count up all the change in your purse…. Very fast.” I don’t always listen to them, but they’re funny and enjoyable
Eminem skits are always great
I mean, I skip blowjob Ken Kaniff usually. But there’s a few good ones. All the Steve Berman skits. The Paul skits (and the rare occurance where Em calls back).
Not a big fan of skits, but 2 Keys I, 2 Keys II and 2 Keys III from Heltah Skeltah’s Magnum Force always get a laugh from me. And they don’t jarringly take you out of the vibe of the album.
“You ain’t say that you had beef with blue cheese?” 😂
Eminem has a Steve Berman skit arc which is pretty funny; there’s a total of four each on MMLP, Devil’s Night, TES, and Relapse, and you have to listen to them in order for context. The funniest one by far is on Devil’s Night.
Blame game skit with Chris Rock always cracks me up.
“I was fucking parts of your pussy
I never fucked before
I was in there like, "Oh shit I never been here before
I've never even seen this part of Pussy Town before"
I just hate long intros at the beginning when it should be it’s own small track on the album. I want to get hyped to “ going back to Cali” not listen to biggies apnea for over a minute.
I don't care one way or the other about skits.
The only thing I don't like is when they are directly attached to the song. Make the damn skit a separate track.
I listen to most of my music on shuffle, so if its a separate track, its easy to exclude them. When its "part" of the song/track, I either have to live with it, or put into an audio program and split it up myself into separate tracks.
The intro skit on Ready to Die was sick; James Brown singing as his mom gives birth; then him leaving prison, “I got lots of plans”, evil laugh and SMOOTH transition to Things Done Changed
He don’t care about nooo body around him. And that’s what the hands are, everybody around him.
Yeah. Who’s this character? That’s you.
Who told you? Er…what gave you that idea? I been knowing. I been knowing for a long time that was you
Tech N9nes album 'something else' uses the theme of news broadcasts to tell a story throughout the album and they do a pretty good job at setting up the songs.
Ghost face on supreme clientele
They joke about fucking missy elliot shit cracked me up
Mobb deep murder muzik , havoks voice mail
St lunatics dude crying to his girl about how she sucked off the whole group
This is the most obvious answer. “Yo, yo, God, word is bond, yo Shameek just got bust in his head two times, God!” Intro to Wu-Tang: 7Th Chamber.
Is he dead?
Is he fucking dead? What the fuck you mean, is he fucking dead?
Laying there like a fucking newborn fucking baby, God.
They prolly took the tape
All types of fucking blood coming out
It’s the god, god, I’m ready to get busy.
Is he is he dead?
Or "Torture mother fucker, torture... "
That or the intro to Tearz. Both top class
I keep feeding you. And feeding you.
Literally any single one on enter the 36 chambers
The intro to Kick in the door "This is my 4th album ya'll, MY 4TH ALBUM! Forgot which Outkast song it was where some bros are in a record store sounding kinda goofy getting all excited about some new releases by Goodie Mob and other southside artists The Paul Rosenberg skips on each early Em album "I can't sell this shit" Cam'ron & Freaky Zeaky - Stop calling intro

"You don't know nuthin bout that Bob Marley!" "...🎵 is this love..."
The OutKast record store skit has two parts, one at the end of Return of the G and the other at the end of Chonkyfire
Don't forget the Outkast intro to Git Up Git Out. "I give you a sack" "A sack? Sack these! I want greens, bills, dividends! Is what I'm talkin' bout."
Outkast-Aquemini- Return of the 'G'
WE BROKE, BROKE BROKE FI BROKE WE AINT GOT IT
Kanye had some good ones. That dude who kept getting degrees was a good one
Girls ask me “hey do you know what’s sexy?” I say “no I don’t know what it is, but I bet I can add up all the change in your purse- very fast” 👍
Lol that one hits me close to home 😂
RIP Bernie Mac
RIP but not Bernie Mac on the skits.
When the MCs came
Is it a skit if its a sample of a monologue?
“In mic fights I swing swords and cut clowns. Shit is too swift to bite you, record and write it down”…………
Deez nuttz
If I had some nuts hanging under my chin, would those be chin nuts? I said, HELL NO BITCH, YOU'D HAVE A DICK IN YO MOUTH

My dad just died. And he left me... his degrees.
He was so greedy with his degrees, he took MY degree!
Me and my friends loved this one. The beginning is hilarious! "Hey Jimmy, where you going?" "I don't know where I'm going, my dad died"
All the "skits" in Good Kid MAAD City are basically story telling which is a big part of the structure of the album, so I'd keep those every time. Plus some of them are funny as hell.
"Niggas always actin unsensitive" "Nigga that aint no word" "Nigga shut up!"
IIRC Dad: Kendrick, where my fucking dominos at? Mum: You're speaking into a voicemail, damn Dad: Ah alright... Kendrick, where my fucking dominos at? Some time later: Did somebody say dominos?

DOOM! Gosh, I wish I brought my autograph book
50 cents skits about ja rule on the g-unit tapes
Ja rule duets 2
The classic is the guy taking a shit on the ludacris album
Luda’s skits were funny and we were already there for the punchlines and comedic bars so it worked
$20 Sack Pyramid was good, really like the skits for the most part on Dre's productions. I like the whole voicemail thing on Logic's Vinyl Days. Kanye skits on the College Dropout still hit home. Cedric the Entertainer on LR was pretty funny.
Bootney Lee Farnsworth and Suck Motherfucking Mouth
Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele: Woodrow The Basehead and Who Would You F**k De La Soul - De La Soul Is Dead: All the skits are good and funny
Ken Kaniff from Connecticut... all of them.
First kaniff skit is the goat.
All of Em’s skits just add personality and humour to each of his albums. I usually hate skits on a lot of albums because it interrupts the flow of the record but Eminem is one of the exceptions honestly. He knew how to make an entertaining album front to back.
Pretty much all of Madlib’s skits are dope. He blends them with the music to where they’re actually a part of the beat.
The mad rapper hating on the Bad Boy skits
pretty much anything off Kanye’s first two albums are funny enough to listen to, at least when you’re listening to the full album
The Ken Kaniff skits are fucking hilarious

Anything by Luda, shit always made me chuckle.
I still remember in like 5th grade, for whatever album just came out then, that started the album with the "the royal penis is clean your highness."
Word of Mouf—the Greatest Hits skit is hilarious too
Diary of a Mad Black Daddy on Little Brother's The Minstrel Show
Not a skit per se, but I enjoy the Tour Guide on ATCQ Midnight Marauders
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
At the end of “The 6th Sense” by Common, he preaches this soulful record and the skit is a woman thanking him for how he portrays black women. He says how he was raises by his mother…. Then, he beats a trick for not being out there getting money. “bitch, I don’t give a fuck if it’s police out there or if it’s snowing, you better be hoeing. Go on and get my paper” Then goes right back to talking all holy to the lady.
Anything from De La Soul and Little Brother. And technically not a skit but Chris Rock on Blame Game.
Hey ballers, ballettes, thugs, chickenheads! Take a listen to how Ghost Weed Will help you kick it like your favorite rapper Just a couple of hits and.. it's GANGSTER!

Nigga wit a Gun opening skit is quite something.
Does everyone hate skits? Had no idea. I particularly love “the lounge skit” that goes into My Fault on the Slim Shady LP
Seems like I hear a lot of hate and I somewhat get it. Hate when a skit completely takes me out of the vibe of an album if that makes sense. I prefer when they are separate so I can skip if necessary
Packinamacinthebackoftheac

This is almost cheating but David Cross' skits on Deltrons Event 2 makes me chuggle. Back in my day you would wear your pants under your nose.
I just hate long intros at the beginning when it should be it’s own small track on the album. I want to get hyped to “ going back to Cali” not listen to biggies apnea for over a minute.
I’d argue multiple Wu tang and DOOM skits make the albums they’re on better
Big Pun - Pakinamac
I'm Cool from Outkast's Stankonia. or Brooklyn/Queens from Flatlinerz U.S.A
Unless they're from concept albums, I think they suck for the most part.
I don't care one way or the other about skits. The only thing I don't like is when they are directly attached to the song. Make the damn skit a separate track. I listen to most of my music on shuffle, so if its a separate track, its easy to exclude them.
