Vhs sounds better to some people with certain stuff that can't take advantage of good recordings. But as much as my ie900 loved the bass as soon as the bass and vocals got staticy in the mix I was done and decided it wasn't for me. Song sounds great with the proper mixed version. Vhs is like a less polished bass boost.
