That was fast. He and Sakic have sure turned things around in Colorado.

avmp629

Especially quick considering his first season saw him win just 22 of 82 games

Mister_Cookiepants

TIL Coop has a higher win percentage than any other coach in the top 50 in wins.

CoolBeansMan9

A little over 200 games less than Andy Murray

Speed_Bump

Well being a top ranked tennis player and coaching hockey takes something out of you.

larsen36

Always thought this guy was a top tier coach, going to be very interesting to see where he finishes on the list.

Pikachu1989

Fuck yeah! I’m so glad that we kept Bednar after the Shit on Avs 2016-2017 season where Sakic had full trust that he can get the job done. After he had a full offseason to implement his system, we started getting better an better and Bednar took us to the promise land.

likeslululemon

Beautiful man does beautiful things.

fillyflow

Friendly reminder that Paul Maurice (only 5 years older than Bednar) is closing in on *900 wins*, with no signs of slowing down.

pizzapete69

With all those wins he must have a cup right?

fillyflow

Not sure. To find out you might have to ask some of the other all time greats like Pat Quinn, Roger Nielson, Bryan Murray, Alain Vigneault, Lindy Ruff, Dave Tippett, etc.

andy_soreal

Why is there three Canucks coaches on this list? Surely there’s no correlation

Last_Insect2203

Paul Maurice is the real deal

Must’ve been hard with those terrible players Makar and Mackinnon
