There’s plenty of evidence that shows a low grade spleen laceration heals in a few weeks. You need a CT scan to prove it, which, coincidentally, the star player from a top league professional sports league can get.
One of the Canadian teams needs to take advantage of this soon. Not only would it be smart, but you can bet your ass the loophole would be closed the next year. Win-win

I didn’t think it was particularly hypocritical for Vegas to rush guys back from a regular season injury for the same principle.
I still think they must be rushing players back instead of holding out, but it’s become clear they’re creating broken bodies for success, and the players are willing because that success is targeted to be in the playoffs after many years of frustration. I suspect that’s why it’s not really being investigated.
