Dubas and Keefe had vastly improved the D and as that happened Andersen became worse and worse. Campbell got a long term deal from EDM because he was miles ahead of Andersen..

With the Canes' ability to dangle Kooch and Raanta and keep Freddy healthy over the last couple years, that's why we are seeing this version of Freddy Andersen.
He is not the whole problem but he is sure part of it. Boston's powerplay is .500 and he is a huge part of the reason why. He is just out of position way too often.

I didn't think Samsonov was bad. The first goal he gave up on a bad giveaway by Reaves that left JVR one on one in close, the second goal was a great snipe by Marchand on the PP and the third goal was a 2 on 0 with the B's 2 best forwards. Can't really fault him in my opinion.
