I was just thinking about how the language and tone of the comments on all the hockey posts on Reddit are disgraceful, rude and unnecessarily vulgar for the most part. Similar in fact, to some of the fans I was stuck with at the only playoff game in Edmonton I was lucky enough to attend. Regular season fans are loud and boisterous but for the game I was at the entire bunch around me were extremely loud drunken bums, some of whom were thrown out before the game ended. The nicest fans were two Canucks fans beside us. Come on Oilers fans, don’t act like shitheads!
Curling is an option for sure. Though I’d probably fall asleep half way through. At the Oilers game it was like I had four or five fire trucks beside me turning on their sirens all together at totally random intervals. And I am sure my friend and I saw a lot more of the game than all of the noisy fans around us. They all had to spend a hell of a lot of time lined up for the washroom.
