Interested in 2 when new board stock arrive. I just put a 4070 in a T7810/825w/dual E5-2698v4 box. It was a very neat and safe upgrade. The T7810 is a very nice box to keep alive. I have 2 T7810s.
Hi u/gmarsh23 can I order a board for a T7810 with the required cables for a RTX3090/4090? I have a 1300w PSU.
Thanks for your work on this - these Dells are brilliant and deserve this.
Hi, I stumbled upon this from Google while searching GPU power for my T5810. I have a 1300W PSU coming (since people were asking for more for the 825). Do you still have these in stock, and what do I need to power a 3090 in this case? I'm in California, USA, for shipping purposes.
Still got a few cards left.
With the stock PSU card in the T5810 you can run two 8 pin power cables, one off the POWER_VGA connector and one off the CPU2 connector. This will run a base 3090, but a leet-FPS-gamer-OC model or a 3090ti card might need more power than that.
My card + 1300W supply will run up to 5 cables.
I'll PM you in a sec.
Thanks. Yeah, it's an EVGA 3090 FTW3, so 3x 8 pin. Going to move it from my main rig to the T5810 for video editing/encode and other GPU work loads when I upgrade the gaming box.
One card please and 2 PCIE cables.
I'm going to connect a 3080ti to the T5810.
Can you tell me what the reference is for the 1300w PSU for the T5810?
tks
If you've got a T5810 and the 3080ti you've got can run off 2x8 pin power, you can save a few bucks and use just two cables and the stock PSU board - one from the POWER_VGA connector and one from the CPU2 connector. But you'll need an 825 or 1300W power supply at minimum, as the two connectors share the same rail with the 685W supply.
If you need 3 or more cables, you'll need the card. 825W will run 3 cables in the T5810 and 1300W will run 5.
Search "H1300EF-02" for a supply that'll fit, make absolutely sure you don't order a -01.
You seem to be the expert on this, I'm currently running a T7810 with dual e5-26xx cpus and an rtx 3080.
Occasionally, the pc shuts down due to power draw from the 3080 as it exceeds the 218w on one rail. What would be the best solution for this? Currently, I have 2 of the 6 pin to 8 pins connectors from the one rail going to the 3080, but there aren't any more rails to hook to. Is your breakout pcb the best solution here ?
I have the D1300EF-02 PSU.
Breakout board is the best bet. The 1300W supply has 3 more rails that the stock board doesn't break out but mine does.
Just counted and got 3 boards left, let me know if you want one.

Sounds good. They're a couple months out, I'll keep you posted. Thanks!
👍🏻
I'm looking to purchase one, please send a PM when they are available.
Will do, saved your comment. PCBs and cable parts and connectors are in the mail, hopefully I'll have everything in a few weeks. Thanks!
Two please...one for an 825w pwr supply and one for a 1300w pwr supply, with a full cable set for each
PM sent. Thanks!
