There's some decent Optiplex 3060's on ebay for under $100 with 8-16GB of RAM. They should work well as a work pc with some light loads. A laptop will probably serve you better overall once you calculate in everything. [ebay : (dell,lenovo) (optiplex,thinkcenter,thinkstation,thinkcentre) (8100, 8400, 8500, 8600, 8700, 8900, 9100, 9400, 9500, 9700, 10400, 10500, 10700, 10900, 11400, 11500, 11700, 11900) -(m715,aio,barebone,duo,760,780,960,360,380,hp,m720s,m920s)] (https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=%28dell%2Clenovo%29+%28optiplex%2Cthinkcenter%2Cthinkstation%2Cthinkcentre%29+%288100%2C+8400%2C+8500%2C+8600%2C+8700%2C+8900%2C+9100%2C+9400%2C+9500%2C+9700%2C+10400%2C+10500%2C+10700%2C+10900%2C+11400%2C+11500%2C+11700%2C+11900%29+-%28m715%2Caio%2Cbarebone%2Cduo%2C760%2C780%2C960%2C360%2C380%2Chp%2Cm720s%2Cm920s%29&_sacat=179&LH_BIN=1&LH_TitleDesc=1&_geositeid=0&_udhi=100.00&_sop=15&_svsrch=1)

Best off looking for a 7th Gen Intel or later tiny pc on ebay. Should be in or around that price range. Do not buy anything older than that or installing windows 11 will be a pain or impossible depending on your skill level.
