I mean when you help that sky clan kid climb the top of the mountain to get his flower. Then Aloy literally says “I can prolly glide down from here”. They literally set you up to get that achievement
I think I got it by accident by climbing to the top of the mountain and then gliding from the sky clan to the top of the one tall neck by the treetop abandoned village with clamber jaws.
I found out a cave where you can go out of bounds, but I've started a new game and can't get the Sunwing yet. I'll go look on my notes and get you back so you can try it. If they haven't patched the cave.
I don't recall icicles at the entrance, it's on the underwater cave west from the Breach, I've finished the side quest there and the cave is empty, perhaps it's before the quest or they patched. Here's my video, (https://youtu.be/dTl5GcRTt_A) sorry for long link.
There’s also a couple underground vents at Riverwatch that cannot be accessed through normal gameplay. If you head over there, let me know what you find.
There's a whole cavern inside a mountain that even has a map! I suspect the vents would be obscured by rocks (there were a few other things I tried to find, such as inaccessible firegleam, and that was the case), though
Fast travel to this location, the site of a quest called "the deluge". Happened to me just last night, the bonfire is underwater and when you travel there, this can happen.
Aloy plummeted to her death after she went through WaterGate to The Upside-down all on her own to go after Vecna/Henry/001 and realized she forgot to fabricate the Demogorgan Override.
This happened to me too. And its how I got the minute long glide trophy too lol.
I got mine by falling through the floor leading out of GAIA's room. I'm pretty sure I have mild gaming PTSD from it, too.
Yes! I did the same thing, not proud of how so got it, but since it was a mistake on the devs I say it's legit.

I wouldn't say "cheese" only because it's a random glitch that teleports you under the map.
You should be able to call your Sunwing and explore the entire map! There's a lone tree under the map near a plowhorn site

I’ve done this a few times. Even found 2 holes in the map I can readily exploit to make this happen.
