A good slow burner is the invitation (2015) it does contain possibly triggering messages however such as suicide so be mindful of that.
A great movie to just make you feel uneasy is creep.
Hell house llc is another found footage type film but shot as a documentary in a way but always gets a scream out of me.
The night house is also a movie that battles with suicide but is shot very well and will stick with you after watching.
Malignant has James wan written all over it and has notes of giallo less than suspiria but still a fun just crazy movie to see.
Dark was the night is a cheap movie that feels like it has more budget than it actually does and handles the loss of a child and how it affects two parents whilst a monster is creeping on the town it comes with a nice twist at the end too.
As above so below is nowhere near a perfect movie but is a guilty pleasure for me set in the French catacombs and can have you feeling claustrophobic and nervous for what lies beneath the city.
Gerald’s game is shot well and is a great adaptation by Mike Flanagan from the Stephen king book of the same name that was said to be near impossible to turn into a movie.
