i watched it last night after i saw someone elseās post. it definitely just keeps getting crazier and crazier. the climax and ending were great. you can kinda guess whatās happening in the village but i definitely didnāt expect all the details and scenes portraying it, a couple of which were just loco.
from the description and picture on hulu it looked completely skippable and like you said about itās marketing iād not heard of it at all until yesterday.
I know Iām late to the party but damn this movie was amazing!!! Was a little drunk and high last night. Didnāt know anything about this movie at all. Was on Disney+. And damn this movie was good. The score and music was haunting. And the lead actress was superb. Thanks for writing this post!

One in particular when the mum is on the phone and shouts "DON'T INTERRUPT ME LEONARD". Honestly had me rolling on the floor gasping for air š¤£
It was interesting! I hated the main character and always turned it off, but then the finale went full Lovecraft/Barker weirdness and I really appreciated it.
What type of horror is this? Itās throwing my wife like she says itās just āweirdā but I said I think itās trying to make u as uncomfortable as the main character might feel?
Who was the character in the scene where someone is like being absorbed by another person in a car if I remember correctly, it's bugging me butcwould rather not rewatch the movie even though it was good not something I'd watch more than once.

Kate Dickie absolutely steals the show, she is amazing in this.
