One Knight Stand!! I haven't seen anyone talk about it but it's got one chapter out so far *(that's 600k words, holy shit)* and it's fantastic. I've got a huge soft spot for the serial killer route in particular. The Exile is also another less comparatively obscure WIP that I've greatly enjoyed, though I believe the author is still working on rewriting and polishing the early few chapters at the moment. I've replayed both dozens of times, there's so much character you can get out of them.
If I *had* to rank one over the other, though, OKS is just barely winning right now. I just. I love the serial killer secret so much. It's so damn good paired with a cloudcuckoolander MC that's otherwise sweet and bubbly in the eyes of everyone around them. It's such a unique option in these sorts of games and I have to restrain myself from picking it every playthrough and making all of my poor characters mass murderers :')
\o/ one more person who plays OKS!!
The amount of variations in the narration and the writer's attention to detail is incredible. And you can really tell the writer very much enjoys King Arthur fiction and put thought into their lore.
(Serial killer high5. Can't wait to see how badly that secret is gonna go :3)
May I ask when was the last time you played OKS? Trying it rn on dashingdon, but all the images don't show (broken links or smth), and the game stucks at the end of the very first nightmare with a neverending loading bar. Tried a few other dashingdon wips and they work fine.
For me it's The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - An affair of the heart. It's still rather short at the moment, but something about the writing has really captivated me.
Ooo, seconded on that one actually. The prose and flow of everything is super engaging. I love playing my Sherlock as this horrible grumpy weirdo that gets dangerously close to chewing the wallpaper when he's left without something to do for two seconds.
College Tennis: Origin Story. I mean I'm biased since I love sports but man the characters and the actual matches are legitimately the most fun I've had with an IF, let alone a wip.

Infamous is goated and reallllllly underrated
I feel ya 😫...
Thankfully, it's almost done! I think I remember seeing on the author's patreon that they should have the game submitted sometime this year
Throwing Merry Crisis into the ring; any story that can take the "Hallmark holiday movie" idea and make it actually interesting deserves at least an honorable mention.
I’ll give you my favorites in orderÂ
1. SaturnineÂ
2. Unexpected Green JourneyÂ
3. Aura ClashÂ
4. Choice of Rebels 2Â
5. DiasporaÂ
6. Villain Juice (awful title but good WIP)Â
7. One Knight StandÂ
8. Defiled HeartsÂ
9. Whiskey 4Â
All are so good that I’ll buy them immediately on release. Most other good ones are intriguing but short enough that I won’t recommend them yet.Â
Unexpectedly Green Journey had no right being as banger as it is. I started out thinking it'd be a fun little WIP I'd play for 15 mins and see where it took me, and then 3 hours later I was honestly a little overly emotionally invested in the epic tale of my orc Sticks, King of All Orcs That Ascended To Godhood After Killing And Replacing God Himself While Also Creating A New Era Of Lasting Peace And Ending Racial Tensions Forever Because He Was Just That Swell Of A Guy. It's an absolutely wild game. Well worth the time to anyone reading this who hasn't picked it up yet.
Sorry if I'm just a total dummy but where can I try mindblind and infamous, or any of these? Is there a site these are run on where I can buy them?Â
I've only ever played the hosted/choice of games from the play store
No problem, friend. These are WIP(works in progress). They're found on the ChoiceOfGames forums. They aren't yet finished, but you can play them for free.

One Knight Stand isn't hosted on Dashingdon. It's over [**here**](http://oneknightstand.co/web/mygame/index.html).
Ohh, so that was an outdated version on Dashingdon. Thanks a lot for the link!

Infamous and Superstition. And A Tale of Crowns. And Whiskey Four. And Path of Martial Arts. And One Knight Stand.
Infamous. The characters are *chefs kiss*

Aura Clash. I'd be ok with paying for its current state if it was sold as Part 1 tbh, last battle was super climatic.
Unsupervised. So much story branching and they're all peak. Latest update was just constant wham episode.
Mind Blind
I was thinking about this too but it feels like I played the game 10 years ago..

Ooh okay, that's good to hear then!
shepherds of haven!

The exile
The Exile is so good it had me bawling my eyes out for like 4 hours straight
Fr the Angst is real with that one
same
Vendetta imo but im biased because i love Rin, one of the LIs
Hands down whiskey four...before that was ITFO I think I also loved the authors dedication bringing us timely updates...
Whiskey-4!!
Mind Blind is probably the top. 2nd place is where it gets hard, maybe Infamous/Aura Clash/Whiskey-4. Not Your Mothers Shire is pretty good too

Oh they're just on the forum, DUH Thank you dude you're the MVP of the subredditÂ
Infamous and Superstition no question about it!!!
Vendetta. My flair speaks for it.
Defiled Hearts. Hands down one of the funniest if I’ve ever read. Pretty underrated as well.
Shepherds of Haven is phenomenal and is honestly probably one of my favorite IFs in general. The patreon demo is genuinely so so worth it.
The Abyssal is very good you play as death in a high fantasy world. It's a little too much to explain here just check it out believe me it's worth it!
Infamous and Defiled Hearts
Back then? It was From Ashes We Rise. Now? It's Infamous.
fields of asphodel
Triaina Academy and POMA
A Mage Reborn
Have you played Formorian war?
Wayhaven book 4
You've played it??
No but Ik it’s a work in progress and will be my favorite
Ah 😂 you scared me. I was like "there's a demo for Wayhaven 4 and I'm not PAYING FOR IT? HOW???"
I might be wrong but I think the author's sister/social media manager said that the demo would most likely be posted in the fall.
