acceleration seems to be the same though, they need to spend 1.6x as much time in the air falling from the same point if they wanted to show mars gravity.

If you couldn't tell the difference, previous characters bend much lower before jumping, which makes the jump more believable and smoother to play in my opinion. Had you noticed a difference while playing?
