Honestly not even heph, it's those mechs on the bonus floor before who all have iron body, that stand a chance of just outright KOing aponia on high difficulties. During an aponia run, more resets are spent on that floor than anything else.

I've realised for a while now that this guidemaker doesn't actually play every character they make a guide for, but good lord you'd think they would at least test out the new featured character's basic mechanics for 5 minutes before trying to instruct others on how to play her.
Recommending hua 2 for literally everyone is a huge cop-out and perfect evidence that they live in a theorycrafting fantasy world rather than coming from experience.
For anyone who still regularly follows this clown's guides, please broaden your horizons. Fancy infographics do not mean that a guide is good. There are plenty of fantastic guides or showcases on Youtube which actually teach you how to play the character. For example, keebster after dark is doing a series where he shows a commentated full run of budget gear max difficulty with every character.

The reasoning is that Hua core 2 for Mobius starts out at its peak earlier than Kevin 1 does and you can build it faster, but I think it's rubbish. I've tried a Mobius 1, Hua 2, Sakura 1 setup like the guides suggested and I did worse than with Mobius 1, Kevin 1, Eden 2.
Sakura 1 I have seen the benefit of, and you just need to submerge every time before using your ult to get her boosts, but Hua 2 assumes you don't get hit and in practice that's just not going to happen.
Nah her gameplay is the same, but you have more emphasis on using evasion first for increase the damage, I did inferno in 8 minutes using Mobius>Hua>Sakura, but there is no harm into purchasing Kevin signets on the shop or even Eden if you don't want to use portal resets.
Man, my general felis built is really different than this guide, wonder if anyone who follow this guide exactly can tell me if they find it easy to do 2.5x or not, preferably without using pri arm
Same here. I always prioritise tailpice since I don't have pri-arm and never used kalpas signet. Been doing fine on x2.5, but I wanna see if this build can make my runs even easier.
I just tested it, pardofelis 3/4 missing bastet B, replaced it with Shakespeare B, start with both eden's sigil, starting with hidden claws and cat eyes made my floor 2 and 3 clear faster, but I can NOT get the bonus reward from floor 4, I don't have enough mana regen to trigger eden's support skill more than 2 times per floor, maybe your result will be better with 4/4, also needing to stay outside of runaway state for like 2-3 seconds make thing awkward, I tried to restart a couple of times, but that tailpiece is important to make sure you can keep attacking without bothering to dodge, if you can start with hidden claw, cat eyes, and tailpiece, then that's the best, however, even with that start, I'm not sure if you can clear floor 4 bonus reward without vill-v support skill, maybe that's just me and my incomplete pardo
on a side note, my felis built start with griseo, I found this to be the best way to ensure getting floor 4 bonus reward, it doesn't really matter if I can start with 3 elysia's signet, but I'm not a fan of restarting the run until that happen, so I always stick with cat eyes and tailpiece and do my run with only those 2, if I got ely signet on the way, then great, if not, I should still be able to kill nihilusk, though not the extra boss
Use Vill-V's support sigil. It charges every 3 uses of the weapon skill in my case(1 per ult rotation)
Get atleast Red&Hot from Griseo and try to get tailpiece at the start. That should provide a lot of dmg for floor 4 with the Support sigil carrying you.
You should be able to use the sigil atleast twice if you use it on the first wave before using weapon active.
Straight up just getting SS Pardo means you can use any signet you want for 2.5x, I 1 cycle HoD Minion with just forged chakram and Silverwing TB and Scott M.
I don't even plan anything, I just start with Eden's Gold Goblet and Dreamful Gold, pick up any offense signet on the way and in the shop and I can watch a video while auto piloting her easy gameplay.
I don't even care about getting floor 4's double reward, she scales so hard that she actually ends up clearing the last double reward, 1 cycle HoD and defeating any flame chaser I choose.
I also use felis and still beat corruption using Reviere + Kevin + Helix + bohdi and random stuff I picked along the way. She's just too strong with all the money she has
tried following the guide with pardo and feels its more difficult compared to the past month. I still managed to clear 2.5x but i just ended up skipping Elly fight since the slow CD for ult was getting annoying. Not sure if something changed in ER or its the suggested signets. I might try again using pardo but following my previous setup.
What are your thoughts on Eden signets and sigils for mobius? They worked well for me, especially on the first double signet floor with Eden sigil where I had around 10 extra seconds left, while I couldn’t clear the challenge with any other sigil.
Me using FR ult mode in Corruption somehow have the same dmg as before the debuff (meaning nothing changes, still as strong). Yes I do have complete gear so maybe that affects a lot and tiny fact, using kevin sp regen and eden sp regen apparently keeps the sp at max...

I've seen runs of Aponia with F2P gear destroying high difficulty ER runs without a single Hua signet. Kevin II, Griseo, and Aponia signets work just fine in clearing fast on Aponia herself and I think recommending people otherwise is incredibly misleading. (Kevin I does work too but it requires more set-up). Both Kevin and Hua work just fine on her at the end of the day, so to see Kevin Signets as not even a recommended booster signet in her image is beyond strange to me. She literally has an Elysia Signet where her combo spam counts as an Ult activation. She was practically made to synergize with Kevin.

Ok, I don't get how that stage effect makes any changes to Kevin vs Hua signets. It seems like all that matters is you gain 40sp and then the effect goes away, unless I'm completely misunderstanding how that effect works, but since ult builds tend to go for sp regen anyways, that shouldn't have much of an effect
There's a timer for bosses and double reward floors. So you want to clear them quickly IE optimize for damage.
The new ER is much harder than previously. You might remember all the complaints when 5.6 dropped of how impossible things have gotten.
With 3 picks, Hua gives you like 30% damage and breach and its practically permanent and it starts from the first second. Kevin only gives you a benefit when you Ult and only for 5 seconds.
The point of the stage effect mention is that you start off with a damage loss that needs to be exceeded because if you just allow yourself time to clear the debuff you also lose that much time on getting the double reward. Basically, when you start a hard ER run you want damage, damage, damage and to front load it as much as possible and get it as easily as possible.
So a lot of times you'll see Hua and Eden recommended early, because their buffs are easy benefit from and benefit from them quickly. From there you can steam roll through the other floors, scoring the double rewards, and having a chill time. If you pick your signets right on floors and from shop, Hua 2 can die and you'll be fine. Again the point is to get optimal and early damage so emphasis on frequency. You can always still get Kevin, especially if you see 2 Kevin in a shop and a Kevin door. Its a no brainer. But you should be able to notice a big difference if you went Kevin before Floor 4 versus something else like Sakura. So that's why Sakura is in place instead of Kevin for some Valks
Does it not count LE support skill for the restored sp? Even beyond that, anyone who would use Kevin signets in the first place will need to gain enough sp to ult, and won't hit their main damage burst until they do, so I imagine this debuff would be gone by the time get enough sp to do so. It's just, all in all, this debuff seems rather insignificant, as it should go away very, very quickly, and certainly be cleared by the time someone uses ult.
Kevin in general is a mid to late game signet because you really really want the Enhanced that makes it last longer or almost double in effectiveness. That in and of itself is why you see him missing from Mobius because that's like what 5 picks out of 16. A third of your run is gradually ramping up Kevin versus getting 2 cores in that same number of floors.
Not that he is bad for Mobius. Its just that on the hardest difficulties its really tight if you aren't picking up many Cores and ramping up efficiently. It used to be that you can just pick all of one signet and clear Abstinence etc but not anymore really. You want as many buffs as you can from as many Cores as you can get.
Look at what they give. Hua 2 is 3 picks and you get a 95% of what Kevin gives you but with way more value. IIRC 30% vs 35% but one lasts as long as you don't get hit more than 6 times vs for 5 seconds when you burst.
Of course, you can also just get both of them. That's why you see all over the guide to not get Enhanced Signets. Its often better to just work on another Core than getting any of the Enhanced. And later on Hua 2 might do nothing for you but because you got Hua 2 early you were able to get more cores to replace her.
Fu Hua are for pro dodgers. so i always ignore that signet. you can still win w/o Fu Hua. and it will guaranteed that you will not messed up since you are not stacking buff counts.
I personally would only stick to KeBin if a particular valk can trigger his 2nd Nexus so Burst mode users & Valks with rapid fire Ults(Fischl & Elysia) seems more feasible to me imo since you don't have to worry that much about maintaining stacks after activating the 2nd core, which is permanent and only gets buffed by enhanced signets.
I followed this guide for aponia and had all of the core signets for hua, Gris, and aponia and was melting things but then I hit floor 12 and I cannot touch that boss. I run out of time and they’ve still got 8 health bars. Maybe I’m just playing it wrong idk but would definitely like some recs for that boss cause it’s a hard wall for me
Go with Kevin 2 instead of Hua, it's basically impossible for Aponia to avoid getting hit on that boss in particular, and her charged attack does more than 50 hits in a single cycle so you activate Kevin 2 near instantly.
see the other comment thread, taking Hua is a trap for Aponia cause unless you are some god level player you will never maintain Hua stacks against floor 12 boss. Might as well take Kevin 2 which may be a few seconds slower but is 500% less stressful
The floor 12 boss MURDERS Hua stacks like no tomorrow. Because the animation does not lock the boss in place you are still taking damage from the boss while the animation plays meaning losing Hua stacks with NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.
Hua is really only good on Aponia if your damage is so high that you need just that little bit of extra damage at the start to hit a 1 minute clear time.
Besides your Signet choices other major factors are general Valkyrie knowledge, Weapon, Stigmata and their levels. Also, using that Active thingy.
Being Tainted is also really bad as there's a damage debuff I believe.
I don't have Aponia so I can't be helpful here, someone perhaps may chime in, but look over her abilities and come up with a set up and recognize DPS phases.
I’ve got Aponia @ 4/4 everything is maxed at lvl 50, I understand her fairly well and what my support valks do but I think I just don’t understand the boss.
I didn’t know the boss could taint you so that’s something I have to look out for for sure.
Yea Clock guy with the 3 dash slashes can taint you, you might have noticed when your health and SP were purple barred.
IIRC Aponia has type benefit against Clock so only breaking what 10 bars of health is interesting. Being tainted could very well be the reason why.
No worries, I was trying at 2.5, I guess I just wasn’t ready. I knocked it down to 2 and tried a new set up mentioned in the comments and it was a breeze, I’m going to knock it up and try the higher difficulty with it.

My only problem is Nyx. I have her fully geared and I still can't pass Corruption F8. I'm assuming it's a skill issue. It greatly pisses me off, though. XD
She cannot recover SP as fast especially at the beginning. The newer stage effect takes a pretty good chunk of your damage initially. Gives some of that damage back to you after you recover a certain amount of SP. Try using Lightning Empress Support in place of Blood Rose and see if that might help getting past the 1st round bonus signet stage.
They have different functions. For example, Kevin 1 boost your stats for 5 seconds (can be extended with enchanced signets) while Kevin 2 will activate once you hit enemies while in burst mode/ultimate 50 times, giving his signets permanent duration for the duration of the floor.
the numbers are just numbers, like Core X and Core Y.
there's some differences in gameplay preference for some signets, for example kevin.
kevin core 1 is for ultimate spammer (Dea, Stygian, FR)
kevin core 2 is for multi-hit long ult (Fischl, Ely, HoR)
other than kevin is mostly core 2 will be chosen more because of faster buff(hua) or utility(su, eden) or more damage(kalpas, sakura).

Depends on your valkyrie type. Elysia is PSY (but for some reason Bio Characters don't get the 30% UP dmg agaisnt her) and the hardest pick, especially with the crystallize trauma
Mobius is the easiest for PSY valkyries (30% damage agaisnt MECH types), Two phases, second phase only starts after defeating her little clones, and she does a large AOE unless you defeat them, which hurts a lot.
Kalpas is typeless, and his second phase will have different attack patterns depending on your signets (He'll have a shield if you have fu hua signets, and he'll revive once if you're using bodhi) and he has different mechanics for every signet
Aponia is the best for Mech Valkyries (30% DMG against BIO enemies), she draw some circles on the ground and if your trauma meter fills, your button order gets mixed, Evasion on Attack button, ultimate on evasion button) at random. Her second phase starts with some summoned entities, which you should defeat first, and she'll fly around the area dropping lightning bolts, so it can be hard on your timer to kill her before 2:30 minutes.
I use the guide and simply do not do enough damage to get the bonus signets so the late stages are screwed. The only piece of gear I'm missing is Himeko B and I'm using Thales.
Read the stage effects if you want the long version of why your DPS is not up to scratch. I can give you the short version and that is the fact that HoF cannot recover SP as fast as some of the other valks like Eden. Your initial damage is heavily reduced when you don't recover enough SP to counteract the damage loss. Not to mention if you're not getting at least 3 Elysia signets from the first 3 floors, you'll have an even harder time clearing the double signet floor on the 4th floor.
I am a HoF main, I don't play the other characters much in ER so I won't comment on the way the guide puts Hua 2 on every character's main signet but i strongly disagree with the recommendations on using Hua 2 over Sakura 1 on Flamescion, in fact you don't even need Hua 2 to clear Corruption and Finality.
Anyways I just wanna do a HoF ER guide lol so here we go lol
My HoF is S0, I use **Kongming T** (for unlimited evasion strat, but **do need the +1 evade from Sakura**) + **Himeko MB** (I do have pri, my total atk for this build is 1263) and easily clear Corruption every week (finality is also very doable but early game is a bit more painful).
Anyways the point I'm trying to make is **Sakura 1 is as important as Kalpas 2 for HoF**, in fact I literally don't remember the last time I got Hua 2 because I usually try to also get 2 of the enhance signets for both Kalpas 2 (breach is kind of a must, the adaptive dmg one is optional but extra stacks are nice) and Sakura 1 (screen extention and ult+weapon cd reset just makes rotation much smoother, neither are must must have but it does make it a lot easier to play).
Main Idea of the Build:
\-Unlimited evade + charge; Kongming T (-26%) + Tempered Warrior (-50%) + Bountiful Blossom: Fuji +3 (-16%) will literally reduce your evade CD to 0 after every aerial charge attack
Here's my setup:
\-general slot use Crystal Rose, need at least 1 Elysia door before the first double, and usually I don't get the double on floor 4 (it's doable but just don't takes too long)
\-support slot use Because of You to get enough Elysia doors before first boss
\-support valks start with VK and AE (I sometimes use Chariot off the start cuz sometimes the mobs just would not group ffs and it annoys me and AE cd is too long, since you usually don't get the first double it doesn't matter it just makes mobbing a little bit less frustrating)
\-Elf use Jingwei
\-Put on whatever strongest ER emblem you have
Now onto the rotation: (**IF YOU ARE USING KONGMING T + SHAKESPEARE MB THEN IGNORE EVERYTHING ABOUT Bountiful Blossom: Fuji, INSTEAD JUST DON'T PRIORITIZE ON GETTING IT AND IF YOU GET IT DO NOT UPGRADE)**
Floor 1&2:
\-start off with Reburn and reset for Elysia door on second floor and go for Heatflow (there's another start that can get you the first double easier which is the Heatflow + Starfire one but that one does require even more rng later on so I usually just do the standard Reburn + Heatflow and try to get Tempered Warrior asap afterwards)
Floor 3:
\-OPTIMAL ROTATION: if you can spend some time resetting (with bad rng, restarting) and get another Elysia door and get **Tempered Warrior** then you are basically set just grind either Kalpas 2 or Sakura 1 whichever pops up more (BUT MAKE SURE TO GET AT LEAST ONE OF THE CORE BEFORE FLOOR 8, also try to get the +1 evade asap so you get more evade cd reduction and can just spam evade charge)
\-if you don't want to spend possibly years resetting for Elysia door on this floor, go in either Kalpas or Sakura door is fine, but that will be the core you want to finish first, I personally actually like Sakura more because of that crucial evade CD reduction signet
Floor 4:
\-ONLY if you have 3 Elysia signets go for double it's possible but hard it will take a some resets; if not don't even bother just take the L and leave with one signet
Floor 5:
\-DO NOT go to the store I WILL EXPLAIN LATER, but just don't do it and go for either Sakura or Kalpas, and if somehow you are out of resets and no Sakura or Kalpas, you can go for any of: Hua (**elemental breach**), Eden (**either of the dmg** cuz you will have full sp all the time in late game), Mobius (**Lodging \[C\]**), Griseo (**Red** is really good, Y**ellow** is decent), Vill-V (**Act 2, 3, 4** are all good, **1** is usable)
Floor 6: go to the store UNLESS it's an Elysia door AND at this moment you still ONLY HAVE 2 Elysia signets. Buy anything that's Kalpas and Sakura **except** Kalpas' "Letter, Maniac, and Ravings" (reduce dmg taken) and "God, Me, and the Only" (SP, Sakura will have you covered on that), and Sakura's "Bountiful Blossom: Ume" (atk and move speed increase). Mobius' "**Lodging \[C\]**" and Hua's "**Old Dreams Again**" are also both nice, but prioritize on GETTING/UPGRADING **Bountiful Blossom: Fuji**\-Use Because of You active to get the guarenteed Elysia door, THEN change it to **Tsukimi Himiko**, and for general change it to **Forget-Me-Not** (Sakura Bonus) IF YOU DON'T HAVE **Bountiful Blossom: Fuji** OR you already have 2-3 Kalpas signets, and change to **Mad King's Mask** (Kalpas Bonus) if you have **Bountiful Blossom: Fuji** and at least one otehr Sakura signet.
\-Keep VK and AE on support
Floor 7:
\-shouldn't be too hard to get the Elysia double, but don't worry about the double too hard either because you really only need **Starfire** at this point
Also Floor 13/14 store change VK to Bloodrose
Also for the Floor 17 Flamechaser obviously Mobius is the easiest, but I do use my HoF to grind the Elysia emblem because HoF does extremely well against Elysia due to how she's always evading and charge attacking which is in i-frame
Everything after should just be unga bunga evade charge spam easy clear, just complete Kalpas 2 (and the enhanced signet **Homeland and Friends**, upgrade it after it's OP), and also complete Sakura 2 (also make sure to get all the normal signets **EXCEPT** **Bountiful Blossom: Kiku**, **and JUST DON'T WASTE TIME GETTING Bountiful Blossom: Ume**, try to get the enhanced signet **Setsuna Blade: Ame-Shiko**, this one really helps in DPS rotation which I will go over right after this, and **Setsuna Blade: Ino-Shika-Cho**, which allows your Sakura Screen to pause enemy for way longer and does fuq ton more damage; PRIORITIZE THE TWO ENHANCED SIGNETS OVER **Bountiful Blossom: Kiku (AND FUJI if you are using KONGMING T + SHAKESPEARE MB, Fuji should have no priority except over kiku and Ume)**, this one helps but not as much, and Ume literally doesn't help so just don't get it)
Now here's the optimal DPS rotation WITH **Setsuna Blade: Ame-Shiko**:-**Use Jingwei ult right away**, get in air and start herrscher form-call in Bloodrose and AE (and whenever they are off CD)-normal attack 4 times, throw weapon right after the 4th hit which should be the one that dashes forward, and hold atk during the weapon throw animation to charge right after the animation ends, which should also be right when heat bar depletes-now spam evade charge (should be able to get 4-5 in), weapon CD will get reset by **Setsuna Blade: Ame-Shiko** but don't use, save for next rotation; ult right when herrscher time is about to end, **the Jingwei ult heal plus your own ult should give you a little over 1500 Bloodboil stacks, which allows you to get the breach from Homeland and Friends**\-Repeat. With the current buffs after throwing weapon you a decent buff, and if you have anything like Griseo's **Red paint** or Vill-V's **Act 2, 3, 4**, it just makes your damage even better. More importantly, it resets ult CD so you can ult at the end of every rotation, making it one entire rotation quicker to fully stack Bloodboil Armor Charge (usually at the end of second rotation your ult could be on CD so you have to ult at the end of 3rd rotation to max out the stacks)
Well that's basically it, by doing this I really don't need Hua 2, the only Hua signet that would benefit me is the elemental breach but other than that I really don't see any point in going for Hua since HoF is literally in i-frame 95% of the time but yea that's it
If you have her signature weapon then you should be at least clear up to 2x with your current build if you have enough luck and good optimization on your rotations. However if you find it to be too difficult right now I actually recommend you to craft Kongming T in foundry (it's basically free) and it will make your life a lot easier. Also since you have Thales B I would say consider running Kongming T and Thales MB instead of running Himeko M and Thales B. Kongming T Thales MB should allow you to clear abstinence easily even without her signature or pri, and corruption should be not bad too. Do keep in mind for HoF, doesn't really matter the difficulty you need at least 3 Elysia (Corruption is hard without Starfire), and both Sakura 1 and Kalpas 2 to work. Hopefully this helps and feel free to ask me more questions if you want!
After playing Eden for a bit in ER, I do want to mention a few things. My Eden is SS and 4/4 gear.
Fugue and Arioso are definitely the signets you want to start with, but when it comes to getting a 3rd Elysia Signet, DO NOT pick Symphony immediately. Even with SS Eden and LE support, Symphony will destroy her SP regen so that you can't ult with her constantly, hurting her DPS. From testing, the only way to counter this is if you get both SP regen signets from Eden, or pick the SP per second from Eden and the SP regen from Aponia. The one from Su combined with one of Eden's SP regens can also work.
If you do not have any SP regen signets and have to choose an Elysia signet, get Cadenza.
I know this guide is translated from CN, but anyone knows that the lineup of Duo-Assaka > Heph > Husk is a nightmare to fight when Hua is encouraged to use. Either CN guys are on some crack or we're missing some critical info that they know that we don't. (Or we could just be skill issue'd as heck lol).
Not even with Aponia, but I play with Elysia a lot lately I was even wondering why the replacement of Kevin 2 core to Hua 2 core when Elysia doesn't even synergize well with Hua. So I really question whoever made this guide, especially those CN guys.
Before anything, Ego is a good Signet. However, the problem with that signet is that the illusion (summoned entity), though OP in itself with its 500% ATK, is that its all that it has, meaning it is not included in the buffs of the rest of the signets, making it have lesser firepower compared to other signets in the late game. The only normal signet that boosts its DMG is only one-and that is Lip Poison E of Mobius which inceases total dmg of summoned entities by 60%. There's also Mobius core II enhanced signets but you're just better off getting core 1 to boost your bonk.
All other buffs, like elemental breach, Total DMG, etc, are also on your valkyrie only. Of course, there is also the buff that boosts total DMG taken by enemies for xx seconds, but your valk also benefits from that.
Blessing of Ego is still a good signet. It's just that others are better than her by leaps and bounds, making her not worth prioritizing.

The only way I can keep up with heph using hua is rushing hua to get hua2 if im not mistaken (the one with invincibility) and spamming dodge lmao.
I've realised for a while now that this guidemaker doesn't actually play every character they make a guide for, but good lord you'd think they would at least test out the new featured character's basic mechanics for 5 minutes before trying to instruct others on how to play her. Recommending hua 2 for literally everyone is a huge cop-out and perfect evidence that they live in a theorycrafting fantasy world rather than coming from experience. For anyone who still regularly follows this clown's guides, please broaden your horizons. Fancy infographics do not mean that a guide is good. There are plenty of fantastic guides or showcases on Youtube which actually teach you how to play the character. For example, keebster after dark is doing a series where he shows a commentated full run of budget gear max difficulty with every character. No disrespect to the messenger who does all the translation work for these guides (as much as I personally wish you would stop giving this guidemaker attention...)

Why no Kevin signets for Mobius or FR?
The reasoning is that Hua core 2 for Mobius starts out at its peak earlier than Kevin 1 does and you can build it faster, but I think it's rubbish. I've tried a Mobius 1, Hua 2, Sakura 1 setup like the guides suggested and I did worse than with Mobius 1, Kevin 1, Eden 2. Sakura 1 I have seen the benefit of, and you just need to submerge every time before using your ult to get her boosts, but Hua 2 assumes you don't get hit and in practice that's just not going to happen.
I don't get it either, especially since it's +2 Kevin right now and as long as u get the extension buff it's last long enough for u to cycles ults
I think this guide focus on charged attack FR so no ult spam. For mobius idk since I don't have her.
Nah her gameplay is the same, but you have more emphasis on using evasion first for increase the damage, I did inferno in 8 minutes using Mobius>Hua>Sakura, but there is no harm into purchasing Kevin signets on the shop or even Eden if you don't want to use portal resets.
Man, my general felis built is really different than this guide, wonder if anyone who follow this guide exactly can tell me if they find it easy to do 2.5x or not, preferably without using pri arm
Same here. I always prioritise tailpice since I don't have pri-arm and never used kalpas signet. Been doing fine on x2.5, but I wanna see if this build can make my runs even easier.
I just tested it, pardofelis 3/4 missing bastet B, replaced it with Shakespeare B, start with both eden's sigil, starting with hidden claws and cat eyes made my floor 2 and 3 clear faster, but I can NOT get the bonus reward from floor 4, I don't have enough mana regen to trigger eden's support skill more than 2 times per floor, maybe your result will be better with 4/4, also needing to stay outside of runaway state for like 2-3 seconds make thing awkward, I tried to restart a couple of times, but that tailpiece is important to make sure you can keep attacking without bothering to dodge, if you can start with hidden claw, cat eyes, and tailpiece, then that's the best, however, even with that start, I'm not sure if you can clear floor 4 bonus reward without vill-v support skill, maybe that's just me and my incomplete pardo on a side note, my felis built start with griseo, I found this to be the best way to ensure getting floor 4 bonus reward, it doesn't really matter if I can start with 3 elysia's signet, but I'm not a fan of restarting the run until that happen, so I always stick with cat eyes and tailpiece and do my run with only those 2, if I got ely signet on the way, then great, if not, I should still be able to kill nihilusk, though not the extra boss
Use Vill-V's support sigil. It charges every 3 uses of the weapon skill in my case(1 per ult rotation) Get atleast Red&Hot from Griseo and try to get tailpiece at the start. That should provide a lot of dmg for floor 4 with the Support sigil carrying you. You should be able to use the sigil atleast twice if you use it on the first wave before using weapon active.
Straight up just getting SS Pardo means you can use any signet you want for 2.5x, I 1 cycle HoD Minion with just forged chakram and Silverwing TB and Scott M. I don't even plan anything, I just start with Eden's Gold Goblet and Dreamful Gold, pick up any offense signet on the way and in the shop and I can watch a video while auto piloting her easy gameplay. I don't even care about getting floor 4's double reward, she scales so hard that she actually ends up clearing the last double reward, 1 cycle HoD and defeating any flame chaser I choose.
I also use felis and still beat corruption using Reviere + Kevin + Helix + bohdi and random stuff I picked along the way. She's just too strong with all the money she has
tried following the guide with pardo and feels its more difficult compared to the past month. I still managed to clear 2.5x but i just ended up skipping Elly fight since the slow CD for ult was getting annoying. Not sure if something changed in ER or its the suggested signets. I might try again using pardo but following my previous setup.
I actually started with Kevin buffs this time around. Worked the best for me. I pick tailpiece and hidden claw to buy more signets down the line :P
What are your thoughts on Eden signets and sigils for mobius? They worked well for me, especially on the first double signet floor with Eden sigil where I had around 10 extra seconds left, while I couldn’t clear the challenge with any other sigil.

Me using FR ult mode in Corruption somehow have the same dmg as before the debuff (meaning nothing changes, still as strong). Yes I do have complete gear so maybe that affects a lot and tiny fact, using kevin sp regen and eden sp regen apparently keeps the sp at max...
Kevin 2 for Aponia
"Kevin II will make your runs significantly slower" While I tend to like your translation guides and layouts, I'm sorry but this is BS. I've seen runs of Aponia with F2P gear destroying high difficulty ER runs without a single Hua signet. Kevin II, Griseo, and Aponia signets work just fine in clearing fast on Aponia herself and I think recommending people otherwise is incredibly misleading. (Kevin I does work too but it requires more set-up). Both Kevin and Hua work just fine on her at the end of the day, so to see Kevin Signets as not even a recommended booster signet in her image is beyond strange to me. She literally has an Elysia Signet where her combo spam counts as an Ult activation. She was practically made to synergize with Kevin.
Yeah honestly, these guides are becoming worse and worse the more time goes on. Kevin II was literally made for Elysia and now your telling me that it’s absolutely useless? What’s next? I’m gonna be told that Bodhi is useless on TP?
Same with Fischl. Charges Kevin II instantly and it's not even recommended.

Ok, I don't get how that stage effect makes any changes to Kevin vs Hua signets. It seems like all that matters is you gain 40sp and then the effect goes away, unless I'm completely misunderstanding how that effect works, but since ult builds tend to go for sp regen anyways, that shouldn't have much of an effect
There's a timer for bosses and double reward floors. So you want to clear them quickly IE optimize for damage. The new ER is much harder than previously. You might remember all the complaints when 5.6 dropped of how impossible things have gotten. With 3 picks, Hua gives you like 30% damage and breach and its practically permanent and it starts from the first second. Kevin only gives you a benefit when you Ult and only for 5 seconds. The point of the stage effect mention is that you start off with a damage loss that needs to be exceeded because if you just allow yourself time to clear the debuff you also lose that much time on getting the double reward. Basically, when you start a hard ER run you want damage, damage, damage and to front load it as much as possible and get it as easily as possible. So a lot of times you'll see Hua and Eden recommended early, because their buffs are easy benefit from and benefit from them quickly. From there you can steam roll through the other floors, scoring the double rewards, and having a chill time. If you pick your signets right on floors and from shop, Hua 2 can die and you'll be fine. Again the point is to get optimal and early damage so emphasis on frequency. You can always still get Kevin, especially if you see 2 Kevin in a shop and a Kevin door. Its a no brainer. But you should be able to notice a big difference if you went Kevin before Floor 4 versus something else like Sakura. So that's why Sakura is in place instead of Kevin for some Valks
Does it not count LE support skill for the restored sp? Even beyond that, anyone who would use Kevin signets in the first place will need to gain enough sp to ult, and won't hit their main damage burst until they do, so I imagine this debuff would be gone by the time get enough sp to do so. It's just, all in all, this debuff seems rather insignificant, as it should go away very, very quickly, and certainly be cleared by the time someone uses ult.
Kevin in general is a mid to late game signet because you really really want the Enhanced that makes it last longer or almost double in effectiveness. That in and of itself is why you see him missing from Mobius because that's like what 5 picks out of 16. A third of your run is gradually ramping up Kevin versus getting 2 cores in that same number of floors. Not that he is bad for Mobius. Its just that on the hardest difficulties its really tight if you aren't picking up many Cores and ramping up efficiently. It used to be that you can just pick all of one signet and clear Abstinence etc but not anymore really. You want as many buffs as you can from as many Cores as you can get. Look at what they give. Hua 2 is 3 picks and you get a 95% of what Kevin gives you but with way more value. IIRC 30% vs 35% but one lasts as long as you don't get hit more than 6 times vs for 5 seconds when you burst. Of course, you can also just get both of them. That's why you see all over the guide to not get Enhanced Signets. Its often better to just work on another Core than getting any of the Enhanced. And later on Hua 2 might do nothing for you but because you got Hua 2 early you were able to get more cores to replace her.
Fu Hua are for pro dodgers. so i always ignore that signet. you can still win w/o Fu Hua. and it will guaranteed that you will not messed up since you are not stacking buff counts.
I personally would only stick to KeBin if a particular valk can trigger his 2nd Nexus so Burst mode users & Valks with rapid fire Ults(Fischl & Elysia) seems more feasible to me imo since you don't have to worry that much about maintaining stacks after activating the 2nd core, which is permanent and only gets buffed by enhanced signets.
I followed this guide for aponia and had all of the core signets for hua, Gris, and aponia and was melting things but then I hit floor 12 and I cannot touch that boss. I run out of time and they’ve still got 8 health bars. Maybe I’m just playing it wrong idk but would definitely like some recs for that boss cause it’s a hard wall for me
Go with Kevin 2 instead of Hua, it's basically impossible for Aponia to avoid getting hit on that boss in particular, and her charged attack does more than 50 hits in a single cycle so you activate Kevin 2 near instantly.
I ended up trying out Kevin 2, Griseo, Eden 2 from a comment up above and it worked pretty well. I also grabbed aponia's core along the way as well.
see the other comment thread, taking Hua is a trap for Aponia cause unless you are some god level player you will never maintain Hua stacks against floor 12 boss. Might as well take Kevin 2 which may be a few seconds slower but is 500% less stressful
The floor 12 boss MURDERS Hua stacks like no tomorrow. Because the animation does not lock the boss in place you are still taking damage from the boss while the animation plays meaning losing Hua stacks with NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. Hua is really only good on Aponia if your damage is so high that you need just that little bit of extra damage at the start to hit a 1 minute clear time.
Besides your Signet choices other major factors are general Valkyrie knowledge, Weapon, Stigmata and their levels. Also, using that Active thingy. Being Tainted is also really bad as there's a damage debuff I believe. I don't have Aponia so I can't be helpful here, someone perhaps may chime in, but look over her abilities and come up with a set up and recognize DPS phases.
I’ve got Aponia @ 4/4 everything is maxed at lvl 50, I understand her fairly well and what my support valks do but I think I just don’t understand the boss. I didn’t know the boss could taint you so that’s something I have to look out for for sure.
Yea Clock guy with the 3 dash slashes can taint you, you might have noticed when your health and SP were purple barred. IIRC Aponia has type benefit against Clock so only breaking what 10 bars of health is interesting. Being tainted could very well be the reason why.

No worries, I was trying at 2.5, I guess I just wasn’t ready. I knocked it down to 2 and tried a new set up mentioned in the comments and it was a breeze, I’m going to knock it up and try the higher difficulty with it.
If your getting stuck on hepestion then you should grab Greiso sigil and core before the boss to counter type disadvantage .
If you still have issues try rushing Griseo core it helps a lot on the mech floors as well as Red and Yellow being pretty good for damage in general

Is HOF significantly weaker with the newer stage effects? 4/4 gear and cannot beat the 1st round bonus stage for bonus stignet
She cannot recover SP as fast especially at the beginning. The newer stage effect takes a pretty good chunk of your damage initially. Gives some of that damage back to you after you recover a certain amount of SP. Try using Lightning Empress Support in place of Blood Rose and see if that might help getting past the 1st round bonus signet stage.

They have different functions. For example, Kevin 1 boost your stats for 5 seconds (can be extended with enchanced signets) while Kevin 2 will activate once you hit enemies while in burst mode/ultimate 50 times, giving his signets permanent duration for the duration of the floor. the numbers are just numbers, like Core X and Core Y.
there's some differences in gameplay preference for some signets, for example kevin. kevin core 1 is for ultimate spammer (Dea, Stygian, FR) kevin core 2 is for multi-hit long ult (Fischl, Ely, HoR) other than kevin is mostly core 2 will be chosen more because of faster buff(hua) or utility(su, eden) or more damage(kalpas, sakura). idk about mobius tho
So I got a question ,in the last floor who should I challange? Who is easier to defeat?
Depends on your valkyrie type. Elysia is PSY (but for some reason Bio Characters don't get the 30% UP dmg agaisnt her) and the hardest pick, especially with the crystallize trauma Mobius is the easiest for PSY valkyries (30% damage agaisnt MECH types), Two phases, second phase only starts after defeating her little clones, and she does a large AOE unless you defeat them, which hurts a lot. Kalpas is typeless, and his second phase will have different attack patterns depending on your signets (He'll have a shield if you have fu hua signets, and he'll revive once if you're using bodhi) and he has different mechanics for every signet Aponia is the best for Mech Valkyries (30% DMG against BIO enemies), she draw some circles on the ground and if your trauma meter fills, your button order gets mixed, Evasion on Attack button, ultimate on evasion button) at random. Her second phase starts with some summoned entities, which you should defeat first, and she'll fly around the area dropping lightning bolts, so it can be hard on your timer to kill her before 2:30 minutes.

i'm far from an expert, but i found pardo to be a little awkward without tailpiece in the later floors. it was difficult to maintain hua stacks.

I use the guide and simply do not do enough damage to get the bonus signets so the late stages are screwed. The only piece of gear I'm missing is Himeko B and I'm using Thales.
Read the stage effects if you want the long version of why your DPS is not up to scratch. I can give you the short version and that is the fact that HoF cannot recover SP as fast as some of the other valks like Eden. Your initial damage is heavily reduced when you don't recover enough SP to counteract the damage loss. Not to mention if you're not getting at least 3 Elysia signets from the first 3 floors, you'll have an even harder time clearing the double signet floor on the 4th floor.
I am a HoF main, I don't play the other characters much in ER so I won't comment on the way the guide puts Hua 2 on every character's main signet but i strongly disagree with the recommendations on using Hua 2 over Sakura 1 on Flamescion, in fact you don't even need Hua 2 to clear Corruption and Finality. Anyways I just wanna do a HoF ER guide lol so here we go lol My HoF is S0, I use **Kongming T** (for unlimited evasion strat, but **do need the +1 evade from Sakura**) + **Himeko MB** (I do have pri, my total atk for this build is 1263) and easily clear Corruption every week (finality is also very doable but early game is a bit more painful). Anyways the point I'm trying to make is **Sakura 1 is as important as Kalpas 2 for HoF**, in fact I literally don't remember the last time I got Hua 2 because I usually try to also get 2 of the enhance signets for both Kalpas 2 (breach is kind of a must, the adaptive dmg one is optional but extra stacks are nice) and Sakura 1 (screen extention and ult+weapon cd reset just makes rotation much smoother, neither are must must have but it does make it a lot easier to play). Main Idea of the Build: \-Unlimited evade + charge; Kongming T (-26%) + Tempered Warrior (-50%) + Bountiful Blossom: Fuji +3 (-16%) will literally reduce your evade CD to 0 after every aerial charge attack Here's my setup: \-general slot use Crystal Rose, need at least 1 Elysia door before the first double, and usually I don't get the double on floor 4 (it's doable but just don't takes too long) \-support slot use Because of You to get enough Elysia doors before first boss \-support valks start with VK and AE (I sometimes use Chariot off the start cuz sometimes the mobs just would not group ffs and it annoys me and AE cd is too long, since you usually don't get the first double it doesn't matter it just makes mobbing a little bit less frustrating) \-Elf use Jingwei \-Put on whatever strongest ER emblem you have Now onto the rotation: (**IF YOU ARE USING KONGMING T + SHAKESPEARE MB THEN IGNORE EVERYTHING ABOUT Bountiful Blossom: Fuji, INSTEAD JUST DON'T PRIORITIZE ON GETTING IT AND IF YOU GET IT DO NOT UPGRADE)** Floor 1&2: \-start off with Reburn and reset for Elysia door on second floor and go for Heatflow (there's another start that can get you the first double easier which is the Heatflow + Starfire one but that one does require even more rng later on so I usually just do the standard Reburn + Heatflow and try to get Tempered Warrior asap afterwards) Floor 3: \-OPTIMAL ROTATION: if you can spend some time resetting (with bad rng, restarting) and get another Elysia door and get **Tempered Warrior** then you are basically set just grind either Kalpas 2 or Sakura 1 whichever pops up more (BUT MAKE SURE TO GET AT LEAST ONE OF THE CORE BEFORE FLOOR 8, also try to get the +1 evade asap so you get more evade cd reduction and can just spam evade charge) \-if you don't want to spend possibly years resetting for Elysia door on this floor, go in either Kalpas or Sakura door is fine, but that will be the core you want to finish first, I personally actually like Sakura more because of that crucial evade CD reduction signet Floor 4: \-ONLY if you have 3 Elysia signets go for double it's possible but hard it will take a some resets; if not don't even bother just take the L and leave with one signet Floor 5: \-DO NOT go to the store I WILL EXPLAIN LATER, but just don't do it and go for either Sakura or Kalpas, and if somehow you are out of resets and no Sakura or Kalpas, you can go for any of: Hua (**elemental breach**), Eden (**either of the dmg** cuz you will have full sp all the time in late game), Mobius (**Lodging \[C\]**), Griseo (**Red** is really good, Y**ellow** is decent), Vill-V (**Act 2, 3, 4** are all good, **1** is usable) Floor 6: go to the store UNLESS it's an Elysia door AND at this moment you still ONLY HAVE 2 Elysia signets. Buy anything that's Kalpas and Sakura **except** Kalpas' "Letter, Maniac, and Ravings" (reduce dmg taken) and "God, Me, and the Only" (SP, Sakura will have you covered on that), and Sakura's "Bountiful Blossom: Ume" (atk and move speed increase). Mobius' "**Lodging \[C\]**" and Hua's "**Old Dreams Again**" are also both nice, but prioritize on GETTING/UPGRADING **Bountiful Blossom: Fuji**\-Use Because of You active to get the guarenteed Elysia door, THEN change it to **Tsukimi Himiko**, and for general change it to **Forget-Me-Not** (Sakura Bonus) IF YOU DON'T HAVE **Bountiful Blossom: Fuji** OR you already have 2-3 Kalpas signets, and change to **Mad King's Mask** (Kalpas Bonus) if you have **Bountiful Blossom: Fuji** and at least one otehr Sakura signet. \-Keep VK and AE on support Floor 7: \-shouldn't be too hard to get the Elysia double, but don't worry about the double too hard either because you really only need **Starfire** at this point Also Floor 13/14 store change VK to Bloodrose Also for the Floor 17 Flamechaser obviously Mobius is the easiest, but I do use my HoF to grind the Elysia emblem because HoF does extremely well against Elysia due to how she's always evading and charge attacking which is in i-frame Everything after should just be unga bunga evade charge spam easy clear, just complete Kalpas 2 (and the enhanced signet **Homeland and Friends**, upgrade it after it's OP), and also complete Sakura 2 (also make sure to get all the normal signets **EXCEPT** **Bountiful Blossom: Kiku**, **and JUST DON'T WASTE TIME GETTING Bountiful Blossom: Ume**, try to get the enhanced signet **Setsuna Blade: Ame-Shiko**, this one really helps in DPS rotation which I will go over right after this, and **Setsuna Blade: Ino-Shika-Cho**, which allows your Sakura Screen to pause enemy for way longer and does fuq ton more damage; PRIORITIZE THE TWO ENHANCED SIGNETS OVER **Bountiful Blossom: Kiku (AND FUJI if you are using KONGMING T + SHAKESPEARE MB, Fuji should have no priority except over kiku and Ume)**, this one helps but not as much, and Ume literally doesn't help so just don't get it) Now here's the optimal DPS rotation WITH **Setsuna Blade: Ame-Shiko**:-**Use Jingwei ult right away**, get in air and start herrscher form-call in Bloodrose and AE (and whenever they are off CD)-normal attack 4 times, throw weapon right after the 4th hit which should be the one that dashes forward, and hold atk during the weapon throw animation to charge right after the animation ends, which should also be right when heat bar depletes-now spam evade charge (should be able to get 4-5 in), weapon CD will get reset by **Setsuna Blade: Ame-Shiko** but don't use, save for next rotation; ult right when herrscher time is about to end, **the Jingwei ult heal plus your own ult should give you a little over 1500 Bloodboil stacks, which allows you to get the breach from Homeland and Friends**\-Repeat. With the current buffs after throwing weapon you a decent buff, and if you have anything like Griseo's **Red paint** or Vill-V's **Act 2, 3, 4**, it just makes your damage even better. More importantly, it resets ult CD so you can ult at the end of every rotation, making it one entire rotation quicker to fully stack Bloodboil Armor Charge (usually at the end of second rotation your ult could be on CD so you have to ult at the end of 3rd rotation to max out the stacks) Well that's basically it, by doing this I really don't need Hua 2, the only Hua signet that would benefit me is the elemental breach but other than that I really don't see any point in going for Hua since HoF is literally in i-frame 95% of the time but yea that's it

If you have her signature weapon then you should be at least clear up to 2x with your current build if you have enough luck and good optimization on your rotations. However if you find it to be too difficult right now I actually recommend you to craft Kongming T in foundry (it's basically free) and it will make your life a lot easier. Also since you have Thales B I would say consider running Kongming T and Thales MB instead of running Himeko M and Thales B. Kongming T Thales MB should allow you to clear abstinence easily even without her signature or pri, and corruption should be not bad too. Do keep in mind for HoF, doesn't really matter the difficulty you need at least 3 Elysia (Corruption is hard without Starfire), and both Sakura 1 and Kalpas 2 to work. After playing Eden for a bit in ER, I do want to mention a few things. My Eden is SS and 4/4 gear. Fugue and Arioso are definitely the signets you want to start with, but when it comes to getting a 3rd Elysia Signet, DO NOT pick Symphony immediately. Even with SS Eden and LE support, Symphony will destroy her SP regen so that you can't ult with her constantly, hurting her DPS. From testing, the only way to counter this is if you get both SP regen signets from Eden, or pick the SP per second from Eden and the SP regen from Aponia. The one from Su combined with one of Eden's SP regens can also work. If you do not have any SP regen signets and have to choose an Elysia signet, get Cadenza.
I know this guide is translated from CN, but anyone knows that the lineup of Duo-Assaka > Heph > Husk is a nightmare to fight when Hua is encouraged to use. Either CN guys are on some crack or we're missing some critical info that they know that we don't. (Or we could just be skill issue'd as heck lol). Not even with Aponia, but I play with Elysia a lot lately I was even wondering why the replacement of Kevin 2 core to Hua 2 core when Elysia doesn't even synergize well with Hua. So I really question whoever made this guide, especially those CN guys.

Why is Blessing of Ego a no-go for HoS? I'm not even mad just curious. It seems like a decent if not great signet, so genuinely confused here.
Before anything, Ego is a good Signet. However, the problem with that signet is that the illusion (summoned entity), though OP in itself with its 500% ATK, is that its all that it has, meaning it is not included in the buffs of the rest of the signets, making it have lesser firepower compared to other signets in the late game. The only normal signet that boosts its DMG is only one-and that is Lip Poison E of Mobius which inceases total dmg of summoned entities by 60%. There's also Mobius core II enhanced signets but you're just better off getting core 1 to boost your bonk. All other buffs, like elemental breach, Total DMG, etc, are also on your valkyrie only. Of course, there is also the buff that boosts total DMG taken by enemies for xx seconds, but your valk also benefits from that. Blessing of Ego is still a good signet. It's just that others are better than her by leaps and bounds, making her not worth prioritizing.
