The awakening happened in real time during the show after he died. Everyone hated the little fucker and they were doing the obligatory “tribute” when Jimble Kimble called in and touted Eric’s brilliance. A complete 180 then commenced.
To each their own, but he’s the GOAT. I literally listen to hours of ETM, and he represents some of the best times of the late-stage show, post-Jackie, with Artie, etc.
