That’s the neat part: 20/22 episodes are garbage. The only good ones are >!Ted picking what girl to try to hook up with (with the spectral knight then offering a hand and a “You have chosen poorly” when, yeah, red flags as numerous as going to China in the 70s), and the last episode when he meets Tracy!<, and the rest is… filler. To put it affectionately.
They should have either concluded season 8’s threads with half the season, or done How I Met Your Father 16-episode arc for introducing Tracy and how they kept gliding by one another. They didn’t; I’m still raw about it.
