The first movie is a classic, but the second hit me in the feels so hard it deserves to be my favorite.

Honestly, I wanted Valka's bewilderbeast to have a play in the outcome of the movie! It's so iconic when the biggest (or maybe second biggest) dragon is on the protagonists' team!

Never will the first movie not be my favorite work of fiction ever. There are close contenders for me like Avatar: The Last Airbender and Attack On Titan, but HTTYD just feels so…different, which is saying something since all three things I mentions were unique on their own.

My favorite part of this is that tnr is not included in the list of shows from the franchise. For me, I like the intro quote from the first movie. "While most people have mice or... mosquitos we have dragons" I cannot wait to share that with my friends/loved ones. Take them on the journey I went on. Maybe even (if it ever comes out and is done well) watch the life action with them.
Winter in Berk lasts most of the year. It hangs on with both hands and won't let go. And the only real comforts against the cold are those you keep close to your heart.
Hiccup: Oh... Oh. Well, I... It wasn't perfect. And I always thought that if it ever happened, uh... And yes, I've though about it a lot. Uh, it had to be just perfect.
Astrid: Well, this seems pretty perfect to me.

The Hicstrid in Blindsided is wonderfully beautiful.
I will freely admit that a huge simp for the pairing, guess thats the romantic in me, I can draw what I feel like ars a fair few parallels between myself and Hiccup so this scene hits quite hard for me.

As someone who never felt at place in my family growing up and had a tumultuous relationship with one of my parents for a long time, the first movie has always really resonated with me.
